His explanation of lateral sway, in balance with side bend, so that your chest and shoulders are turning under through the ball, mesh well with everything I’ve gleaned (and very well ) from Craig Hansen and his World class golf videos. Wonderful for Viktor to share all this in a very direct, simple way. It’s helped my swing and long game greatly. Cheers to all!
That rabbit hole he speaks of being indoors hits hard. I don't have a trackman but I do have a net, I find myself always trying new stuff and feels with impact. Get way to obsessed trying to perfect every little thing. This game can be a endless search for the perfect swing LOL
Great advice especially adjusting what fits you personally and while gleaning tips or feels or moves from others not being too focused on copying others. For most average or club golfers there is often more to learn from the womens pros especially posture, grip, alignment (pga), and tempo. Keeping things simple and focusing on one feel or thought helps a great deal. Key is identifying what works for you. Snd as he says once you know what your trajectory and flight does work with that.
I've been teaching Mike Austin's 'Square To Square' method for years on end. Victor says his club face is closed at the top but it's NOT closed. It's square.
Thank you for this video. There is an idiot instructor on TH-cam that says Viktor takes his hands out over the ball and then pulls his hands down to his left hip. Love your game Viktor, cool when you go on a tear during a round.
He has literally the easiest way to swing a club, why more ppl aren't copying him is a mystery to me,It's very similar to Moe Norman how he goes through the ball but way less complicated than Graves golf.
Odd number of open ended questions. Here’s a top 5 driver of the ball and no questions regarding mechanics or even his loft settings. I’m insulted for Viktor
He grew up in Norway learning golf by watching TH-cam. Now he's on TH-cam teaching it! Thanks Victor.
That's crazy and amazing..
His dream has been achieved.

Such a good kid! I've grown to like watching him play. I was pulling for him very hard this last weekend.
Very useful for the average player. Great to hear from someone who is a bit steep but certainly makes it work. One of the best in the world
Lot of gold sprinkled in there from Viktor. Thanks for sharing
Big fan of Viktor Hovland. Thanks for the tips!
Big fan of Viktor H. This video is really insightful.
Really great job conducting the interview
I've always been told my high hands and lack of depth cant work. Thanks Viktor, I'm reinvigorated to swing my swing

That's the point lol to me that is the endless journey of golf, unless your shooting a perfect game all the time you always strive for improvement
Ain't that the beauty of it
Good guy and good interview.

Pivot around the right leg sounds gold
Viktor Hovland has the most useful tip of all, although not in his words...the most important golf swing to learn is Your Own, not someone else's.
But if you’re a 20 handicap it’s worth tryin to emulate a few til ya figure yours out😂
Whats his leg workout look like? Lots of power from there.
Viktor vs the field will be the question if he continues to play this good.👍
Good questions
Man has tree trunks for legs
I think he will win a major. Maybe not this year but soon
underated short game. dude is a boss
Well this aged like 💩

so good

Explode as much power through the ball as late and as long as it can be!
My rate of closure is negative: it goes from square to open at impact.
I bet this Viktor guy might win the tour championship 🤔
Good call
LEGEND
And after this video he was never seen on a golf course on a Sunday again.
Nice
4:00 “how far is that going to fly?” 😂 “about 3hundryd” Pro job to gas the bored pro golfer! Great stuff!
When all else fails...
GRIP IT & RIP IT!!!
I think victor would do a great Stan Laurel if he tried 😂
He will play into his 60's. His technique puts no strain on the body.

He’s got some ocd….putting the ball on the tee and right before he hits. Nice drives though!
Unbelievable player but IMO his swing is far from being the model swing for average amateur players
Yeah yeah go watch Dave Duvall same deal.
there's no secrets in golf
they need a mute button for that interviewer
Why
Huh?
What an arrogant interviewer
Really? I thought his questions were very good. And he posed them in a normal way.
Why? Explain yourself
What an arrogant comment.
You’re off-base. The guy asked every question the average golfer would ask.

i knew he was gonna be good after 1 second of watching him.
