Touching God's "Anointed": False Prophecies and the 2020 Election

- Sometimes we (sadly) poke the bear to be mean. Sometimes we poke it to provoke. Other times the bear did a no-no and needs to be held accountable.
So in this video, I'm daring to address the madness of all the false predictions about the 2020 election. I try to pick and choose my battles, and when I choose to ‘battle’, it needs to be in with the right intention. Paul reflects this in scripture that we need to be at peace with people as much as we can, except when it comes to the gospel and identity of Jesus. That’s worth fighting for. I’m not here to do what’s popular, I want to do what’s right. All this was done in the name of Jesus, and that’s really the heart of me speaking about this. This shames Jesus’ name. That’s worth speaking up about. That being said, I think this definitely needs to be firmly addressed.

To everyone who's saying that these 'prophets' were correct because Trump actually won the election, but it was 'stolen' from him, and those who are saying that even prophets in the Bible told false prophecies like Nathan and Jonah...:
I'm going to be very unapologetically direct about this- Please stop and really examine what you're saying.
This is exactly the type of mindset that I talk about in my video. This is a huge part of the problem and a huge factor in why I made this video.
This isn't helping, nor is this a healthy mindset to be in. This sounds like a Jehovah's Witness boldly defending their beloved Governing Body members (even at the cost of misquoting Scripture to do it) even though the truth is staring them straight in the face. This is elevation of man. This is idolatry. This is exactly what I mean by people choosing to be deceived.
So... to make your prophets right, you're resorting to calling Prophets in the Bible false ones? Really? Because there's no way 'God's anointed' could possibly be wrong? And this again is something else I talk about in my video about the unnecessary division I'm seeing. This mindset that's based on unfounded paranoia is majorly at fault for it. *This* is how these people continue to get away with these things. This is *exactly* how they're enabled to draw out these prophecies. These 'prophets' literally made millions of people believe that Trump would be re-elected *in 2020*... and that GOD said this. People are doing 'prophecy gymnastics' and changing the goalposts by making excuses for how these people were still correct about this. They draw it out as long as they can. Some are saying wait until 2024. Really? And when that doesn't come to pass what will the excuse be then? The pattern is obvious. It's a breeding ground for deception.
So now that it didn't happen? Then it *must* be fraud.
And also, on that note, for those saying that the prophecies weren't wrong and that Biden 'stole' the election...
Okay, hypothetically, let's go there.
You're now stuck with this: was God not able to see this? Was God not able to give *ONE* prophet the correct outcome of the election in detail? If this were true, was God not able to see that Biden would win by fraud?
Don't you think that God would be able to confirm to His people who His prophets were by giving such a detailed prophecy?
Could it be that God allowed such an outrageous unpredictable outcome to expose what the truth is about these people?
Think about what you're resorting to. You're willing to turn God into a weak impotent god that knows nothing and satan has successfully stumbled Him. Not only that, you're willing to actually twist Scripture itself, to say that God had false prophets- who by the way were to be stoned if they told a false prophecy...
All to defend these 'prophets.'
This is idolatry.
Time is the best tattletale. It told.
Accept the outcome, learn from it, and let it go.
There has been more focus on the elevation of politicians than there has about the Gospel and honoring the image and name of Jesus. If you're willing to resort to demoting God and Scripture to somehow 'force' these people to be right, then deception is your *choice.*
Do you remember when Solomon said they can't sit still and say it without winking and waving around their hands. That's the teachings he's referring to. They always move around because they aren't in good soil. And after a trees roots become so strong the tree cannot be uprooted then it is crowned and matured. They have no anointing to prophecy because they have no. (In this order) they do not love, they lie, they haven't even learned, they don't know, they are blind, they are not in good soil, they have no anointing.

The ironic thing is wec read and we all marvel at how the antichrist would if it was possible to fool the very elect with the rising of false prophets and false Christ ms we should then take note of this situation because it's a dress rehearsal for what's to come.

Allen Parr, regarding your “pre-trib” video, I left you a comment you might need to study very closely.
I remember a minister in the little church I was dragged to when I was young. He was preaching one Sunday that the Lord was coming back soon, and not to worry about sending your kids to college if they weren't already there, earth time was coming to an end. That was 1970 and I was 17. The good news is my parents, as religious as they were, sent me to college anyway. because my Father had a fair amount of skepticism with fire and brimstone preachers. I'll be 68 next month. This guy could have ruined my life if my parents had done what he said. Be very careful with anyone that insists they've heard from God and you MUST do what they say.
I’m a touch younger but in same era. Certainly told not to have children or get in debt. The Lord was coming back around the early 90’s. I own my own beautiful home with lovely children and grand children. What a lonely sad life I could have lived!
Same story. At age 18/19, (in around 1972), I attended a small Pentecostal church where 'prophecies' and 'interpretations' were regularly proclaiming that "The Lord was coming again VERY SOON". I could have stopped pursuing a career etc., put my feet up and just waited, confident that I would never reach old age. Instead, I changed to a much larger Pentecostal church where they had just started a very ambitious building project. This gave me a reality check. 49 years down the line and now a pensioner, (68 in early May), I am glad I did not let those people lead me astray and into an unfulfilling life and uncertain future. It grieves me now to see the false election prophets still arrogantly sticking to their message in the face of positive proof of their error and to see their followers still supporting them.
@@anthonywillis7634 Ironically, I'm in a reverse situation, no beautiful home with lovely children. The reason is, ten years ago my fiancé got into the kind of church culture that you all are describing. At first I figured it would be fine, we still agreed on the basics so we could handle it if we disagreed on some points. Then he got deeper and deeper into the prophesies and the dreams and the visions. It started to concern me when I'd show him some of the things he was going along with directly contradicted the Bible and he'd brush it aside. I couldn't object to anything, couldn't even question it, because doing so would be arguing with God. It a big part of the reason we finally broke up. I dreaded the thought of our lives together, knowing that it would be built upon whatever was the latest sign or prophesy he'd been told to follow. Even then it wasn't an easy decision to end the engagement, because I wanted the home and the children and everything, and I knew what I was giving up. In the end though, I don't regret it because of the freedom I regained in exchange.
When anyone says “God told me”......Run! I had a pastor who told me that he saw something bad happen to me and my wife because were leaving the church due to moving to another city. This was well over 20 years ago. People who are still stuck in that same church and city are astounded at God’s blessings on our lives. I basically dodged a cult!

Yup! I had a pastor who arranged my marriage with my husband. He even married us in front of the assembly. Picked the date himself. Decided when we could have sex. He called himself a prophet. One day out of the blue he tells me in front of our church group that my 2'nd child I was carrying was not conceived in the will of God and that there was no place for it in His Kingdom. Of course everyone else in the church group just sits there in silence like brain dead bumps on a log. I'm a little nobody and always have been. You know "the least of these my brethren." It's easy for a bully to push his way to the top and use words to rend and tear. They only use certain Scriptures that they can wrest with cunning and adroit sleight of hand. Back then, I always waited for someone/anyone big and strong to speak up and no one ever did. Not in all these years did anyone EVER give a ☆☆☆☆ about me. Now I know I can speak to God through His Son Jesus Christ myself with importunity if I have to. So help me God, I will never trust a man again and I can see RIGHT THROUGH these charlatans and their feigned performances and their merchandising tricks. It makes me sick inside. I learned a valuable lesson through being chastened and scourged through this very grevious experience. My beautiful daughter is 18 this year and accepted Jesus as her Saviour years ago. She is a blessing and a joy to me. Doesn't anyone have righteous indignation when they see our Saviour being shamed by this circus they're putting on? There's a saying "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me."

I went to church with a lady who constantly said "the Lord told me..." and she would tell me what she thought I should do, where my husband and I should live and on and on. Drove me nuts.

The prosperity gospel in Africa has unfortunately evolved into something so horrific and is being spread across the continent by Nigerian and Ghanaian church. They propagate terrible theology and empty the pockets of the poor and desperate.

I’m a Norwegian woman, I have no family or connection to the US or anything like that. It is fascinating to see how Americans mix politics and religion, we don’t do that here. Whether it’s a Lutheran church or a Pentecostal church, the furthest we go is to pray something like “Lord, we pray for those in leadership position, both local and national. Give them wisdom to govern wisely. In Jesus’ name we pray”. Someone tried to convince me Trump was God’s anointed and began listing a bunch of “preachers” who had prophesied this, including Kenneth Copeland. I responded: “But Kenneth went viral with a video last Spring where he blew away corona, didn’t you see that?” I got the evil eye in return and she briskly walked away. I wonder if she's seen this video of him laughing, it is more creepy than any horror film I know of. (Also, you're right that no "prophet" warned us of Covid. I was in new age by new years 2019/2020, and every single "psychic" posted texts and pictures of "2020 will be THE year! Wrongs will be made right! Debts will be cancelled! Wounds will heal! Love will flourish! This is THE year!!" .... not a single one of these people who claimed to foresee the future warned us of Covid. No one in new age, not a single "prophet". I got out of new age during spring of 2020 (thanks to Doreen and Steven), and if I've learned one thing this past year, is this: humans can't be trusted. God can be trusted.)

I think the basis of Americans mixing politics with religion is that our founding was miraculous. A group of colonies whipping England the world super power at the time. We were a miracle until we forgot that God Almighty is the source of our blessings.

For most of them it's just a hustle. They know that people love to be told what they want to hear, so they provide that service. When they turn out wrong, they'll just tell them something else they want to hear.
It's because they believe there will be no real consequences if they get caught.

This is also largely the modus operandi of QAnon. "Watch the water!" or other weird nonsense that could be interpreted any number of ways, and yet even still the first known "Q" message was about how Hillary Clinton was being arrested in 2017, yet here we are and she is still staggering around the real world trading childish insults with Trump and whatnot. So of course they had to concoct a beautiful, unfalsifiable "body double/clone" excuse to explain that I guess. But anyway, bang on comment, Melissa mentioned the subjectivity, and Subjective Validation is the specific term for it. Nostradamus predicted something along the lines of a world leader would die, and people have marveled at his accuracy for centuries now because, for some reason, being a world leader does not grant you physical immortality. Strangest thing, that.
The way I “hear” God is by reading His word. He left it to reveal Himself to us. I can’t predict the future though.

Prophecy isn't predicting the future per se but warning of it. The prophets of old prophesied what the future was going to bring IF the people and leaders didn't change their ways (and they often didn't and then it came to pass).
It wasn't usually a future prediction for the individual about the minutiae of their life problems and rarely ever positive things (as Melissa has said). No, in fact seeking the future doesn't show we have faith in God for our needs or trust him with those future things. In seeking future predictions we are treating God like a tarot card reader or some other future telling device/person. Sometimes we use the bible that way too when we demand answers.
True prophets of today are sounding warnings of where we are globally heading, those reading the bible do or should already know this but the prophets of today speak to those who are not reading the bible, who are maybe not even Christians because that is the purpose of prophecy, to turn people back to God, to steer our societies away from evil. The prophets always were fringe, marginal, unpopular, ignored - it's still the case.

It is several cases of wanting something to be true, so desperately, that they spoke it as if it was....thinking that was faith. It is a common snare of the enemy that churches never talk about.

Food for thought here. As concerning all the prophets that got it wrong concerning Trump's re-election. It has been at least 30 so far that got it wrong. Just maybe God brought this to light. To show us that what Jesus said that in the last days many false prophets would arise and lead many astray Matt. 24. .which is rebellion, and rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. I'm sure their were many that wanted Trump to get a second term. It didn't happen. In my opinion we were looking to the so called prophets of the Lord, and Trump to save the nation. Our eyes were focused on them and not God. The devil is very sneaky. Oh well this is my opinion. I'm open for rebuttal. God bless everyone

A good friend told me once that she had a vision that one day my husband would be driving a pickup and on the side it said
Tools for Jesus! My husband was almost an atheist, very sarcastic and never did anything for anyone, much less Jesus, but low and behold, several years later that actually did come to pass! I went to work for a ministry. The ministry gave Jim a pickup and Jim fixed all the ministry computers, printers, and electronics for 5 years before he died! He had the name of his repair business on the side of his pickup and it wasn’t Tools for Jesus, but he fixed a lot of things for Jesus anyway! He also became a follower of Christ. I believe in true prophecy and God uses it to show His marvelous love and that He is working in our lives. I am sad these things have happened because people will be discouraged but as we walk with the Lord He will restore us and we will become stronger as we persevere in the word and prayer. Good video.

Holy Spirit was nagging me the whole time I listened to half of these prophets in hope, "Stop treating me as a fortune teller. Do you love me and My kingdom or not? Are you eternally minded, or not?"
It's "THE" Holy Spirit. He doesn't talk about himself because he is the Spirit of the father and of Christ.
@@gregm55mullen62 Actually the correct pronoun in the OT is "she", in the NT is "it". From the original Hebrew or Greek. But that's a whole different kettle of fish and I agree with you. The Spirit much prefers to point to Jesus and the Father.

This was reccomend by YT. I have had a talk like this to my wife. She has a friend that lives her entire life on what these prophets say. I tried to tell that friend that it's not spiritually healthy to live that way.
Thank you for your videos! I was a big word of faith believer back in the nineties and early 2000s. While I still believe that there is a kernel of truth in it, I've come to realize that it is dependent upon aligning our will to His, not reaching into heaven and taking what we want. In other words, if God tells me to go preach the word, which he has, he will give me what I need to do what he wants me to do, wisdom, funding, etc, but not make me rich because I want a better house or car. He said that he would give me the desire of my heart, but my heart first has to be filled with his desire. And his desire is for souls to have the opportunity to hear the gospel. I have read the Bible a few times and I always saw him say that we would suffer for his name sake, but these guys seem to hate facing suffering, like you are not being obedient if you're suffering!

I have always believed that to say "God has shown me," or "God has told me" when God has not spoken, is taking the Lord's name in vain, in the most profane way possible.

Yes God's timing is different than ours, but when a person states a specific prophecy that does not come to pass. Then they are to be marked as a false prophet.........
I’m 58 years old, and I’ve been listening and watching so many so called “Prophets” supposedly speak on the behalf on the Lord Jesus Himself for decades. It’s very simple, if he or nowadays, “she”, if their not speaking the truth, and when these people make claims that do not come true or come to pass, guess what? They ARE NOT a prophet, therefore, they are not “the anointed.” We are encouraged to point out error. Especially those that are misleading people within the elect. Churches, all denominations, have members that dab and lend a ear to people who teach error. We are to be wise not to subject ourselves to these individuals. We should stay at in the word of God, where there is no error. Remember, a sheep is never more protected or safe, than when they don’t wonder off or go off on their own. Staying close to the shepherd (Jesus), is the only way to stay safe. Stay in the word, and never deviate from it. -Stephen, Ohio

I’m so glad I came across this, I have been following some of the pastors you detailed and after Trump I was suffering because I knew they were false, not only their word for Trump but every prophecy they spoke! What pained me more was how they have defended their misleading ranging from any time now to blatant denial and more surprising is if you stand up to them their followers will jump on you. It was once upon a time when American missionary came to our remote place so called Philippines, and I was 6 years old ,if I remembered it correct.they came with vedio movie about Jesus. And we believed . people got save . But now I believe it's the other way around. Americans need Jesus Christ.

@@Coe_Music They were influenced by each other's "words". It's the danger of living in an echo chamber. We naturally pay attention to messages that agree with our beliefs. The message-meme gets amplified as we encounter it more and more and next thing you know everyone is saying they had a dream about it. When I told people I believe it'll be Joe Biden's hand on the bible, I got criticized for going against the word of God.

God tells us that a true prophet of God NEVER gets even one prophecy wrong. If even one out of a thousand is wrong, than that prophet is not of God.
I respectfully disagree with that statement, yes God does NOT give the wrong word or prophecies, but a prophet MAY interpret it falsely, or mix it with thier emotion, and yk give the wrong one out, rarely tho.
But if someone false prophesy, They never heard from God at the first place, they heard thier voice
I agree. The bible does not give any indication that there is room for error on hearing from God. In the African Charismatic church false prophets are rife and miss most of their prophecies but people dare not apply the bible to these frauds as they are scared to ' touch God's anointed'
I cannot tell you how grateful I am for your words, Melissa. I have been so frustrated when these individuals have been quoted because their "prophecies" and "words from the Lord" have not been pointing to Christ. As you said in your comment, they have been pointing to leaders in such idolatrous ways.

I was a Jehovah's Witness for 27 years before leaving in Aug 97. I was raised to respect others as much as I can. The girl in the video reminds me of myself in some ways. I love her character. From what I understood, I guess some ppl think that there's OT prophecy and then there's NT prophecy & apparently NT prophecy can be hit & miss or something like that. Of course, Pastor Peters calls that out, but...wow... they are really grabbing at straws to say that getting prophecy wrong doesn't make them a false prophet.

For even though these people are false prophets who falsely prophesized about Trump, Justin Peters goes way to far to the other side and denies prophecy still exists today.......
But scripture says they do exist in the last days, which we are still in those days.........
It’s usually set at a matter of intentions. The questions would be “did you purposefully lie about hearing from God?” If “yes” you are a false prophet. This guideline does make it really hard to declare anyone as a false prophet, but is technically the line used. Additionally someone will be labeled a false prophet if they say things which are directly contradictory to scriptures and claim it as the word of God. They can have a wrong idea of what the Bible says without being a false prophet, but if they claim their wrong idea is in fact the word of God, then they are a false prophet.
I admit I thought and prayed that Donald Trump would come through, but Gods ways are not my ways and I need to trust Him regardless of how I wanted it to turn out. Thank you for bringing this to us. I never prophesied or heard from God, but I did pray that it would turn out different and it didn’t.

These "prophets" are taking the Lord's Name in vain. Using His Name to promote themselves and their " business" is pretty scary. This is very serious. There is no fear of the Lord!! And I don't think He will ignore it.....
He won’t. What makes me angry isn’t just their lies but how they cause others to stumble and fall for another gospel. They’re blocking the path to salvation for others and deceiving them deeply enough that it’s hard to talk them out of it.
Same was happening for so many years and probably continues today with people trying to predict when the Lord would return, like always the date would come and go, and these people would look like untrustworthy fools. Just gotta ignore them, they only care about themselves. If Jesus did return when they predicted it wouldn't be about Him, it would be about how they got it right.
You're exactly right. That is a good example of misrepresenting God, that is, taking his name in vain.
The prophesies were not wrong. God has a certain time line....HIS. Look at Samuel 15:28 God ripped the kingdom from Samuel. God no longer recognized Saul as King but Saul remained in the "white house" etc but he was stripped of his power. How long did it take for Saul to go down after this? It was not immediate? In 1 Samuel 15 God anointed David as king? In Kim Clements prophesies he says ....My David and that refers to Trump. In Kim Clements Prophsies it says, We will have 2 kings? Hmmm. God is still working. The people will see it.

@Kelly Orwig, I say this with all due respect, but I believe if it were God's will for Trump to remain in office, He would have ensured an unquestionable win. God knows all things and can do all things. No amount of attempted deception can stop the things God has planned.

I have spent a lot of time conversing with these Christians the past few months. And boy, has it been hard and heartbreaking. A lot of the time I feel like a lone soldier on the battlefield. I also love the point you made about how we should be praying for these people. That's where my heart is at. My heart is so concerned for these brothers and sisters in Christ. God chose him to win this election and he did win. However there was deception in the election, so the man who is in the White House is not our true president. His presidency will not stand. The election will be overturned and Trump will be reinstated. Then you will see that the prophets that said Trump will serve a second term were speaking the truth.
