I'm very hyped for this. I grew us as a young lad playing the original 3 Call of Duty titles on the Xbox and PS2. Then came the next gen of console and I still played the current games, but never touched multiplayer until MW2, so I missed out on a WWII multiplayer experience. By the time I tried out WaW, lobbies were already full of modders/hackers and was not fun. Plus, WWII is one of my favorite subjects of history, and I can't wait to see a WWII game on current gen.
Advanced Warfare was personally my favorite Call of Duty, it was so fast paced and the exos controlled so well, the guns were so interesting with the variations and the character customization was so great to make everyone look different.
Advanced warfare is not that bad it's actually better than when the game first came... i know it's like that every time the new cod comes out all the tryhards go to the current and shit
Matt Sledgehammer has nothing to redeem themselves for, they listened to rhe community of what they wanted in the next COD and AW was the outcome. Only prople to blame is the community who asked for change and now are blaming Sledgehammer for something the COD community asked for

So i played with Jev a little before he started recording this video. You know what was funny? almost everybody was reg gunning before he joined, and then after Jev joined everybody started sniping
we need a mw2/bo1 type feel cod again. maybe its a little before the whole cod thing blew up, but it was a 10th of the size last time they did a "world war" game. do i think it will bring the community back, it depends on how the main people view it, (pamaj, jev, bloo, kitty, spratt, ect). if they give it a chance unlike the last couple of years, it will do fine, people will just be more confident and more comfortable when they realize everyone else is doing the same thing. this could potentially bring back many channels that have recently quit/changed content and old people who quit during bo2/aw. so in conclusion, yes, this is probably the best way to grow back, start over and hope for the best.
the feel and look of mw2 will always be my favorite, i loved how sharp the graphics were even though sometimes it looked a little faded, but overall everything moved so smoothly, the maps were fucking great and even as a sniper i was comfortable using any weapons class. i wish they would make a remake of that game but making another WAW wouldnt be terrible, that game was the shit too tbh
I would actually love for Pro-perks to come back like in BO1. There were some perks that made you come out of your routine and play other game modes to get them pro. It made me work for stuff more. Like the most recent cods all there is leveling up and prestiging, it gets stale. I would love to see a league play like BO2 and have the ranking system like BO2 where they put you in a certain rank and then you would go from there. I really hope that they have a bunch of bolt action snipers like Jev said. I hope the camos on the guns pertain to the era and time of the game in some way or form, I wouldn't mind gold being there. I hope the streaks are good and have a good amount of them being interactive. I really really hope that War from WAW comes back. Or if they make different game modes that would be dope. We all know supply drops are going to comeback so why not also make it to where you can bet your cryptokeys or whatever they will be called and be able to play party games. Like in BO1 there was the money system and you can play with your money with different amounts. And since supply drops will comeback, I hope they keep the contract thing but it should be like Bo1, where they had multiple ones you can choose from. A 25 gun streak would be cool too, like an atomic bomb type thing but like the MOAB where everyone has it without putting it as a streak or like IW that you need a certain gun. I like playing campaign too, so I hope there is co-op campaign like BO3; I had so much fun in that. I hope party game modes can be PLAYED WITH A PARTY, like I hate when they put in something like gun game and I can't play it with my friends like wtf.

I hate how much Flac Sledgehammer get even though they had some amazing innovations. The game had one of the best campaigns, scorestreak variants, a lot of customization, variants which kept the came alive, and supply drops. Don't get me wrong I don't like pay to win but Sledgehammer later on added prestiges where you could unlock the variants without buying supply drops. My hopes are up for COD 2017 as I believe it'll be amazing.
I legit almost quit when I found out bo3 was boost jumps, then I played it and it wasn't that bad. Aw and iw Are just ass tho like aw everyone's flying and iw just feels broken but bo3 was well made. I hope activision never goes back to boost jumps because that just ruined cod for a few years
Mw3 was an infinity ward game. The team was decimated by everyone leaving to make Respawn after the mw2 lawsuits and Sledgehammer was brought in to help because of it, but it's still an Infinity Ward game.

Jev it takes about 3 years to produce a COD game, that's why it took so long to get back to boots on the ground. Activision definitely heard the community and what they wanted, they were just in too deep to go back at the point of BO3 and IW.
I have a friend who started playing cod on black ops 3 and when IW/MWR came out my friends and him were playing mwr he hated it because he's never played any cods before bo3 and it made me think if anyone else is like that I started on cod 4 when I was really young with my brother so personally I want to go back to boots on the ground
I've seen people saying that; "Oh its WWII. That time period has NO customization for the guns." That upsets me. The tools and equipment in BF1 had a wide variety to it. And the technology improves over the years. There WERE suppressors and grenade launchers in WWI, as well as customizable lens sights and various grenade types, such as; Smoke, Frag, Incendiary, Anti-Tank, and especially Gas. There were flamethrowers in both World Wars. During WWII, high capacity magazine guns were more common, like the PPSH, MP40, and the MG42. Even though bolt-action rifles were still common, self loading rifles were making a greater appearance.
The newest cod game i tried to grind on was AW and i really enjoyed it. But bo3 and IW really threw me off because the movement was different and i enjoyed AWs movement more. Months go by i dont really play bo3 at all and bo2 is dying as well as AW so i quit. Now i play cs:go and im already burnt out on it. Im hoping this new cod is something that will bring me back to the community. As of now it looks that way. :)

I legit almost quit when I found out bo3 was boost jumps, then I played it and it wasn't that bad. Aw and iw Are just ass tho like aw everyone's flying and iw just feels broken but bo3 was well made. I hope activision never goes back to boost jumps because that just ruined cod for a few years

Mw2, mw3, bo1, bo2 my favorite cod games the customization was nice and the games played smoothly.

Mw3 was an infinity ward game. The team was decimated by everyone leaving to make Respawn after the mw2 lawsuits and Sledgehammer was brought in to help because of it, but it's still an Infinity Ward game.

I really just want a game from the BO1 era again...slightly in the past but still felt somewhat modern and had a slower time to kill (I don't know why, but I liked that a LOT) and great maps. That game is still the best COD ever made in my opinion.

Im gonna Jizz the shit out of WWll if the trailer actually comes out. They should rename it to "World of War" because I feel as though if they actually name it World War ll then they're gonna steal that name for Call of Duty. Like say it comes out and your jizzing in your room and you get in a call with your friend and he askes what you're playing, you'll most likely say, like any other CoD such as "MW3" or "AW" or "Remastered", you'll most likely reply "Oh yea dude Im playing World War ll". Like Cod is gonna brand that specific and probably the most important and famous war for themselves. But that's a minority. If it comes out as WWll and ut has MW3/mechanics and WW2 weapons, that'll be nut-tastic anyway.
I mean, it's still a more distinctive name than BF1 but I understand what you're saying. Still, nothing is confirmed. I remember seeing "Leaked Footage" of COD 2017 being set in Vietnam where the video showed a menu screen of what was apparently the new Call of Duty but now no one cares about it. We need to stop building up expectations when it comes to video games from billion dollar AAA developers because as we've seen many times in the past, the final product is very different to what is shown before release. Eg. No Man's Sky, Ubisoft titles and Battlefield games having issues in the open beta at launch

If a company does something well and another company does the something similar people who don't know the two games well will think battlefield is copying CoD. Not everyone is going to know it will take battlefield 2 years to make the game. CoD will obviously do well because of no jetpacks so the common noob will think battlefield is just copying. Plus, there are fifteen major wars were the weapons are equal America was involved in. (I said America because CoD uses them a lot).

Jev it takes about 3 years to produce a COD game, that's why it took so long to get back to boots on the ground. Activision definitely heard the community and what they wanted, they were just in too deep to go back at the point of BO3 and IW.
I have a friend who started playing cod on black ops 3 and when IW/MWR came out my friends and him were playing mwr he hated it because he's never played any cods before bo3 and it made me think if anyone else is like that I started on cod 4 when I was really young with my brother so personally I want to go back to boots on the ground

That upsets me. The tools and equipment in BF1 had a wide variety to it. And the technology improves over the years.
There WERE suppressors and grenade launchers in WWI, as well as customizable lens sights and various grenade types, such as; Smoke, Frag, Incendiary, Anti-Tank, and especially Gas. There were flamethrowers in both World Wars. During WWII, high capacity magazine guns were more common, like the PPSH, MP40, and the MG42. Even though bolt-action rifles were still common, self loading rifles were making a greater appearance.

The newest cod game i tried to grind on was AW and i really enjoyed it. But bo3 and IW really threw me off because the movement was different and i enjoyed AWs movement more. Months go by i dont really play bo3 at all and bo2 is dying as well as AW so i quit. Now i play cs:go and im already burnt out on it. Im hoping this new cod is something that will bring me back to the community. As of now it looks that way. :)
