Not really if it was designed as a collectors item first and not as a functional knife (although it just happens to be that as well) but I definitely get your point. Don't get me wrong the knife looks nice but it definitely doesn't look 6000 dolara nice. Real meteorite is also known as normal iron, or any other material the meteorite is made out of (there isn't some special material quality added to it because it was in space.). And all the other materials here aren't extremely rare. Some of the price is definitely craftsmanship but again it isn't a 6000 super knife. This is definitely personal preference but if you are going to buy a fancy display knife that you aren't going to use, you might as well buy a fixed blade knife. They look nicer and you can find queuing works of art with precious metals and gems that cost way less then 6000 dollars.

While I agree that Tony charges too much for his knives, the blade steel is most likely m390 that has been hand polished to a scratch free mirror, it has titanium hardware, and it's actually kinda difficult to make a folding knife with good tolerance. Just the cost of materials without the meteorite it is a $300 knife. Then when you take into account the hand work that went into it, the price starts climbing. I think it should be around $3k, but that's just me.
King Tut’s dagger made from meteorite was not oxidized at all. Most meteorites that hit earth have such high nickel content that impedes oxidation that I almost don’t think that this has real meteorite 🤔

There's a good reason why steel is used everywhere it's because it's so reliable. On the other hand titanium is never good for blades with few exceptions but those are specific alloys. Titanium is really good for structure support.

For 6k id expect some mokuti, zirc, Damascus, or San Mai at the very least. Don't get me wrong, the work is absolutely stunning and the craftsmanship is out of this world but normally I see 3k+ Knives with some wacky stuff. Had a friend that made a balisong with mokuti handles and a blued dragonskin blade and it only sold for 3.4k

Don't get me wrong the knife looks nice but it definitely doesn't look 6000 dolara nice. Real meteorite is also known as normal iron, or any other material the meteorite is made out of (there isn't some special material quality added to it because it was in space.). And all the other materials here aren't extremely rare. Some of the price is definitely craftsmanship but again it isn't a 6000 super knife. This is definitely personal preference but if you are going to buy a fancy display knife that you aren't going to use, you might as well buy a fixed blade knife. They look nicer and you can find queuing works of art with precious metals and gems that cost way less then 6000 dollars.

While I agree that Tony charges too much for his knives, the blade steel is most likely m390 that has been hand polished to a scratch free mirror, it has titanium hardware, and it's actually kinda difficult to make a folding knife with good tolerance. Just the cost of materials without the meteorite it is a $300 knife. Then when you take into account the hand work that went into it, the price starts climbing.
I think it should be around $3k, but that's just me.

King Tut’s dagger made from meteorite was not oxidized at all. Most meteorites that hit earth have such high nickel content that impedes oxidation that I almost don’t think that this has real meteorite 🤔

There's a good reason why steel is used everywhere it's because it's so reliable. On the other hand titanium is never good for blades with few exceptions but those are specific alloys. Titanium is really good for structure support.

For 6k id expect some mokuti, zirc, Damascus, or San Mai at the very least. Don't get me wrong, the work is absolutely stunning and the craftsmanship is out of this world but normally I see 3k+ Knives with some wacky stuff. Had a friend that made a balisong with mokuti handles and a blued dragonskin blade and it only sold for 3.4k
