The last car on the video, the Vader cost alot more than noted in the video. The company that made the first 15 shells for around 14-18k sold out to a larger co that now charged the shells pretty close to 60k.

Land rovers are known to be unreliable and a money pit. I'm sure there's something wrong with the battery on the Tesla the rest are probably about the same in reliability or mechanical issues. But hey you don't have to worry about that It's just the looks that you're going for right.

What he's not telling you is that at these prices "you'll be on the bus", because at these prices you'll be stuck at the mechanics with a repair tag higher than the cost of the car.
Yeah, reminds me of Hoovies Bentley Continental.. That is broken more as it drives, with repair bill that only a billionair can afford, and its even one of the better ones, well maintained etc...
Reason most of these cars are cheap, are because.. yeah that... They will be more at the garage as on the road, even rich people dont know how to get them sold fast enough before they go bankrupt.
You can make more than that in the Army. I retired after 20 so I know. (If you're really smart, go Air Force but they don't take just anybody. Army does.)
And that last car he showed even if you buy the car and buy the kid it will cost over $70,000 to get it done he don't tell you that and they don't even make that car kit no more you have to actually buy the car which is over $100,000

But the problem is: if you buy that Bentley for that cheap price the engine would be trash. And if you want to replace or repair it, it will cost you as much as a new one..

Every repair on a Bentley will be insanely expensive, not just the engine. Goes for every expensive car really. I am currently looking for that Top Gear clip where they bought a Mercedes CL 600 for 5000 £, only to have an ignition coil go wonky after 2 weeks - which was a 1250 £ bill...
@@meltdown6165 I had a CL600. Great car, amazingly powerful and fast. Used to do round trips between L.A. and Houston in comfort, 22 hours each way. It was a 140000 dollar car , sold it for 2000. Nobody in their right mind buys these cars used. Only pimps and russian mafia wannabes like these.

1987 Buick Regal - Old boxy 80's car that you would expect to buy on the side of the road for 800 bucks. Grand National editions sell for nearly $30,000
1996 Chevy Impala SS - Just considered to be an old Chevy. Very large and clumsy car. Pristine models with low miles sell for $25,000
1993 Porsche 928 GTS - Considered to be one of the ugliest cars ever made. Commonly confused with old 80's Nissans. The turbo versions can still bring nearly $60,000
1984 Aston Martin Lagonda - I can best describe this car by saying it looks like a door stopper with wheels. Not attractive at all. Still sell for close to $100,000
1973 Lamborghini Jarama - Does not look like a conventional Lamborghini at all, but an absolute rust bucket with the paint peeling off is selling for $86,000
1985 DE TOMASO INNOCENTI TURBO - Tiny hatchback that resembles a Mini Cooper. Nice examples are almost $30,000
1970's Datsun 240 - One of my favorite cars. However, the appearance doesn't exactly match the $40,000-$60,000 asking prices.
1992 GMC Syclone/Typhoon - Ugly little square pickup truck with cloth interior and crappy General Motors quality. Very rare and very collectible. $25,000-$30,000

That's what happens when you sink your money into these "luxury" cars, you gotta think deeper into it before you just buy it, my grandfather has had a few Cadillacs and he's probably paid more money for maintenance than the car itself.

For the Bentley, I want to say that the standard service will run 4 figures easy and you can't take it anywhere, you have to take it to someone that specifically services Bentley. This is also no longer even close to valid as the used luxury and exotic market has blown up
Corrent Tesla S models do 0 to 60 in under 2 sec, fastest mesured was 1,96.
Also it has it's own Play Station and Media/Infotainment System built in !

Theres a reason why all those old exotics are DIRT cheap, because everytime they break, they cost more than their worth to fix, so no one wants to deal with that. Not to mention, trying to find a certified Aston Martin or Bentley repair shop can be quite the hassle too.
No mention on everyone one of those cool older cars that you can pick up for cheap that you will end up spending double updating the maintenance and fixing all the outdated or broken components.

They are all priced about right, being the soon upcoming repairs will cost double what the car is actually worth. It would be a gamble to buy a car like one of these with the odds not in your favor.

Off Roaders don’t just need good suspension and shocks it needs space, so like things for an Eski and food coolers because my dad does extreme off road events in the cliffs and mountains especially one you can watch named cliff hanger. Go to cliffhanger 4WD to see some of the thing they do! So yeah like Eski’s and coolers.

@@jonathan1391544 There are a few professions where you have to have a car like BMW, Audi or Mercedes made in the last 5-10 years, like real estate agents. You show up in a beat up 94 Corolla and the clients go to someone else. But those are rare exceptions. In most cases you are much better off getting a regular commuter car and putting the money you save on car payments into index funds or stocks. Some day down the road you will earn so much dividends they alone will pay the lease on a new Tesla or any other car of your choice. This is the lesson young people need to understand.
Or buying a cheap car that you will only need for four years and if your income amount supports it, you could save up in that time and buy a different car.

Prices are definitely WAAAYY off. Aston Martin V8 Vantage closer to $35 - $40K, and the Audi R8 is closer to $60K - $80K, for example.

Is it due for service? What is the mileage? Put two Mustang GT500's side by side, same year, same motor, one has 50k miles, the other has 140k miles and been wrecked, they will not price the same. If your dealer prices them the same, get a new dealer, you're getting hosed all day.
