King Salmon, Halibut, Snagging, Cleaning, Cooking and Finishing up our Summer 2023 Alaska Vacation

Wow! We are finally finishing up our videos from our Summer in Alaska. We snagged a couple more Alaskan Sockeye Salmon limits in Resurrection Bay, took another incredible halibut charter, cooked some wonderful food and FINALLY caught Kings in the lagoon!
At the end of the video, Jimmy takes his time teaching Brody how to filet a King Salmon. Check it out if you want to show the kids. They need to learn and this is a great example.
We had some beautiful weather toward the end of our trip and we were very thankful for that. As always, though, we love Alaska, all her weather, the people we meet and our fiends we get to spend time with. We are so blessed and love sharing with you guys!

Gorgeous red fish! Love king Salmon fishing, have caught a ton of em! Season called off by fish n game due to low returns n have to sit out one season 🙄🎣

We took a charter out of Seward for the halibut and rockfish. The kings were in the Lagoon in Seward - it opens to youth only on June 17. I’m not sure when it closes. It’s really great for the kids. And of course, the snagging was in Seward in the saltwater. It’s worth going!! As for the Seward resort, you have to be DOD active or retired. But there are several other good places to stay and camp in Seward.
