Fort Campbell Juvenile Hunt 2023, Big Buck Down, Mom and Son Double Up on Does for Freezer
Welcome back to our channel. We hope you will enjoy watching Trey prepare and hunt Fort Campbell for his 5th Annual Juvenile Hunt. Trey was a little bummed because he had limited mobility from knee surgery so he couldn't climb with Jimmy and really hide from the deer. He was blessed to harvest a beautiful 8 pointer and he couldn't be happier. This 8 pointer was an older 3 1/2 year old deer and by Fort Campbell standards he should have had a larger rack. But, as we always say, it's about the experience and the memories.
Trey was able to tag out early so we headed to Kentucky to hunt our farms. We were blessed with two huge freezer queens that will supply meat for us all year. It was a fast turnaround on the weekend, leaving Southeast Tennessee, heading to Kentucky, back to Fort Campbell, back to Kentucky and finally home just in time to attend Trey's 8th grade football banquet. Lots of memories, miles and fun.
We finish the video by sharing some moments from our amazing football coach. It was a special year and we are more than thankful to have our son develop underneath these amazing men. They took care of Trey when he was injured and continued to share a bigger purpose.
Please like and subscribe to help our channel grow. We love sharing our fishing and hunting lifestyle with you guys,
See you soon,

Catch and Release Hammerhead Shark in Pensacola Bay | Son's 10th Birthday Present Deep Sea Fishing

Trey loves to fish and especially deep sea fishing. So, for his 10th birthday, we surprised him with a charter trip to "try to catch a shark!" Wow! We got lucky and caught a good size hammerhead shark in Pensacola Bay. It was a good 30 minutes of reeling the fish in (remember Trey was 10!). It was exciting, exhausting and exhilarating all at the same time. As soon as we realized it was a hammer...

We had an amazing time as a couple of pods of Dolphins came up to visit us. We stuck the Go Pro underwater to see them swimming around under us but what we caught on camera was even better. We were able to hear the communication sounds they were making w...

Thank you so much! Really appreciate your comments.
What were the dates of your moose hunt ? Great video
We were in the village the last 10 days of moose season, Sept. 20- Sept. 28. Thank you so much for watching!
Great video. We enjoy seeing you out with your family fishing etc. sub'd👍🏻 I was going to send you a message or email, but for some reason I don't see an option.
Thank you very much! We love to be out in nature. Thank you for watching and subscribing.
Love your videos We're headed to fish red,s on the kenai in late July. Does the snagging in seward have a fluctuation in the run,s as far as being early or late? Thank,s good fishing.
Thank you! Yes it does fluctuate. It even fluctuates while we are there fishing. But once they start coming in, you can get them if you stay committed! Good luck!!
Wow. I'll give up a lot of fish to not have the entire population of Alaska there fishing at the same time. What a rat race.
Really good video. What kind of camera 📷?
We don’t have anything fancy, just an iPhone. Thanks for watching!😊
Where is the place located that you were sealing up your packaging of fish and weighing it? Enjoyed your video.
Thank you for watching! It’s at the Seward Military resort. 😊
You would BLOW your mind if you ever tried Copper River Salmon it's absolutely wayyyyy better than what you have had before. Bad part is that only residents are allowed to dipnet but non-resident could sport fish.
That’s our next goal is to be able to fish for Copper River Salmon. We have eaten it and it truly is delicious!
Amazing video as always, thanks for sharing I'm proud to call yall friends.
Thank you friend!
Attaboy Trey! You're turning into a deer slayer and a dang good football player. Send me a '24 football schedule. I know we'll hunt together this year. I'm proud of you, Sir!
Thank you, sir! We will definitely hunt together again soon. Great times. As soon as I get the schedule I will send to you.
Did you go with a guide, if so, could you provide some info on who you went with? Thanks!
We did not go with a guide. It was a self-guided hunt. Good luck to you if you’re going. If you’re thinking about it, do it you won’t regret it regardless of the success of the kill. It’s a hunt of a lifetime.
Love your video ! What dates did you go ?
Thank you! We were up in the middle of June for 2 weeks.
You sure did eat good on this trip ole buddy. If given the opportunity, I'll get that big boy you seen. Great video. Keep'em coming!
Keep in mind the meals displayed here were over several days!! 😂 Thank you for watching! Our duck one is coming soon.
Sir, I live in Kentucky and just discovered your TH-cam channel. You do a great job on your episodes. Me and my family just got back from Pensacola, we were run out by the recent storm. Me and my wife were wondering what charter Captain Marcus works for, can you provide me with the phone number for him? Thank you for the great content and Bless you and your Family.
Thank you very much for your kind words. We love Kentucky and hope to purchase land there soon! This is the link I had for Captain Marcus’ charters … www.gulfcoastwaterwoodsguideservice.com/ He was really great for our son’s birthday trip. Thank you for watching our channel.
Great video. I'm waiting for my invite for next season. Congratulations on your moose!
Awesome video.... I just love that line 1hr of work = 1 broadhead 😂😂😂😂
You know Jimmy! Haha 😂
I was in Soldotna for 3 weeks in August and limited out every single day. Brought home 150 pounds of salmon
That’s awesome! Congrats!!
Love hearing the "FISH ON!!" while the whales were putting on a show!! Talk about a once in a lifetime experience!
It was awesome! The whole charter was great but all together - definitely a once in a lifetime experience!
Nice work!!! Hope to see you again in 2024!
I’m heading over with my dad from australia next year - interested, are you guys flossing here?😊
Yes we are! Hope you have a wonderful trip and hope the fish are in for you!
Ain't nothing better than slaying some sharks on your birthday!!! Happy Birthday Young Man
Nice catch! What other way to celebrate a birthday than being on the water. Great video... keep'em coming!
Good job Trey!!!!
those Young Men when they look back at this with. tears in there eyes great job Dad. and me at the age of 60 remembering the old man we never forget. God bless
Looks amazing, great video. Can you say where these fish were caught at and can anyone book and stay at the camp? I would love to go there with the kids.
We took a charter out of Seward for the halibut and rockfish. The kings were in the Lagoon in Seward - it opens to youth only on June 17. I’m not sure when it closes. It’s really great for the kids. And of course, the snagging was in Seward in the saltwater. It’s worth going!! As for the Seward resort, you have to be DOD active or retired. But there are several other good places to stay and camp in Seward. Take the trip!! You won’t regret it!! Thanks for watching the video!
Allowed to snag fish and keep ‘em in AK now?
Only in saltwater
Vintage Jimmy and Trey...high and tight haircuts. I love it! Great video.
I'm a Pensacola Native, glad yall enjoyed our bay and fishing. And of course Bayou Chico pelican crew!!! Love your channel, keep uploading he videos.
Thank you!!
Great video Jimmy. Looks delicious. Keep'em coming!
Thank you, sir!
As always a great video.
Great video! Thank you for the recipes. We'll definitely try lemon dill. That looks delicious!
It is really good! Trey even liked it and he’s pretty set on his blackened and brown sugar versions!
Gorgeous red fish! Love king Salmon fishing, have caught a ton of em! Season called off by fish n game due to low returns n have to sit out one season 🙄🎣
Alaska on my bucket list 👍😅
I love the Alaska summers. However, a nice sunny 78F Florida day in January beats a 5F snowy in Alaska.
Very true! We would have to agree with you there!
Great to see y'all having so much fun. Jimmy and Beth, you guys are giving these boys trips of a lifetime for sure.
Way to raise them! Memories that they will cherish for life!
Классное видео! Вы очень крутые😊 счастливые люди.. Берегите себя! 😊

What a trip!!!! That's a lot of fish!! Way to go Capt. Trey
Fishing in Alaska looks like an adventure. I would love to get in on action next year. I'm waiting on my invite. Great video. Keep'em coming! -Sebastian
Too bad some of your neighbors were not more cooperative when you guys hooked up on fish 🤷🏻♂️
Seward Rec camp makes it nice!
Great video!! Was an honor to host you!
Thank you! We had a great time !
Great video! Keep them coming.
Thank you very much!
Love the commentary.... don't see that with other videos.
Thank you! Really appreciate it.
We are making plans to fish the kenai next July. What dates were the sockeye the thickest of your 2 weeks vacation? What’s the limit on it? Thanks
We actually went in June, we just got things published a little later than we planned to. We caught a run in June … wish we were up in July. The limit was 6 per day when we slammed them. 😊
@@TheHuntingandFishingLifestyle ok . Thank you for the reply. We are hoping we catch our limits too!
Last week of June is usually the beginning of the peak for the first run, usually double limits just before 4th of July.
Where are you packing your fish?
We do everything where we stay at the Seward Military Resort 😊
One of the many benefits of serving in the Armed Forces
Wow that’s amazing. I always thought you had to be a resident of Alaska to be able to do this. I always wanted to go. Great video.
Thank you! Snagging is legal in saltwater only. Dipnetting is for residents only. For snagging, once you have your license, follow the limits established and you are good to go. Hope you get to go.
I'm enjoying this video cos I love fishing. Would love to visit this area, please take me there...I'm in Kenya
So glad you’re enjoying the videos! It’s beautiful in Alaska! I hope you can visit one day!
that's how it goes for most people. A few of my friends take home hundreds of pounds every year and all of it is for family relatives and friends. And before you've even left, you're planning on the next year's trip. ... what you'll do differently, where to go, what you want to try and things to do next..
You went there on July 30th? Or back in June
Back in June
@@TheHuntingandFishingLifestyle lol okay great video by the way. I missed that run
