Great video, got it done. One thing to note is that if the screen doesn't turn on, press the 2 steering wheel buttons and keep them pressed for about 10 to 15 seconds or whenever the screen turns back on, this resets the screen. I had to do it
Many of you have asked about voiding the warranty. This item does not. You are protected by the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act. You are entitled to make personal modifications as long as you don’t damage the car in any way. By just replacing the screen doesn’t damage the vehicle.
Tesstuff.. Thank you very much for this video. It made me go out and buy the tilt swivel system for a 2024 Tesla model three Highland.. I cannot wait until you tackled this installation. There are two heavy cables that are plugged into the back of the monitor now plus the temperature sensor. these cables are only 3 inches long so everything you do to get this modification completed is in super tight time-consuming space. Everything in the highland edition bolts back differently. Anyway please make a video with a tilted swirl in a Highland. I am very satisfied with this modification, but I wish the monitor was sitting a little higher than it does.. thanks again for all your videos. I watched them all, very informative. My TESLA is six days old by the way..
I just chose this walk through guide because it was clearer and better than all the others, and I am a 67 year old taking on a nerve racking DIY job.... I would add... it's a good idea to have a small mirror so you can see the fixing back bolts in particular, AND because the screen has been unplugged and replaced in... you will very likely need a two button screen reboot when you are done... my screen came back on, full vis, with radio playing but effectively still in screenwash mode with no off button... the reboot sorted that.
Massive thank you, really great tutorial. I did have a massive panic tho as the screen didn't turn back on!! Took the mount apart again to make sure the wires were all connected, they were so panicked even more!! I left the car for 10min after putting my tools away. Came back and the screen started up when I opened the door. Phew!!
Thank you for the video. I am looking to possibly pick one of these up. Once installed, does it actually drop the height of the screen from where it was originally?
I have a 2022 model 3 but the piece that came with mine that goes underneath the screen is the one with a single hole, will this be okay? What differences can I expect?
Oh boy. I didn't release the screws were upside down and pulled it slightly too hard and one of the screws snapped in half... tried to slightly pull the screen off but seems I need both? I guess I can't do this anymore ?
Yes, Adjustable would be a much more descriptive term. I was wondering how the Tesla software would cope when the screen was flipped from landscape to portrait and only at the end was it clear what this does which is very useful and something the car should have had in the first p,ace.
Thank you for the video on installing the swivel screen. I got one as a gift for my 69th birthday and installed it myself.

Out of all the accessories I have for my model 3 (I have a problem, lol) this is still far and away my favorite.
2023 model 3 here looks like they changed the type of screw in the temp sensor. It’s a 6 star pointed torque screwdriver now instead of Phillips head.
Thank You for this video, I followed Your directions and the install went smooth.
Thank you for your instructions, this video is very useful, much better than the installation instructions from the item's box.
Thank you for a great clear step by step guide, brilliant camera work as well.
oh wow this was the ediot proof installation guide i was after! dude you have nailed it!
Thanks Blue....i am going to now install mine ..😅
Just installed mine. It was a easy install
Thank you, this was definitely the best of the install videos for this product in my opinion.
Thank you for the video. I am looking to possibly pick one of these up. Once installed, does it actually drop the height of the screen from where it was originally?
Excellent video with tight views of what you are doing and we can see what you unscrewing. Thanks 😊

Do you still like having the swivel?
Oh boy. I didn't release the screws were upside down and pulled it slightly too hard and one of the screws snapped in half... tried to slightly pull the screen off but seems I need both? I guess I can't do this anymore ?
Do you expect this to be back in stock anytime soon?
doing so is it going to void the factory warranty ?
Question (again😅)…will this mount make the screen lower since the arm is lower?
Hi this looks really nice. Can you send the link to get this, I have a model 3, 2021
You did a great job explaining the steps! Thanks mate. What brand did you use?
Thank you for wonderful information.
11:56 preferably without hitting your glass! :D
So this voids the warranty right?
Does this void your warranty?
Hi! Do you ship to Norway? 🙂
Does this void the manufacture warranty from Tesla
When do you stock?
Whats the difference between V1 vs V2 ?
I must have an older version of this product. Mine only goes left to right. There's no up and down. Poor me :(
Watched the video, got all excited and it's out of stock lol...
This is not as easy as it seems. Some of these bolts fit horribly
Fit a 22?
Hi does this make the Tesla faster. Thank you.
No
@@liveandletlive2894 why? Isn’t it more aerodynamic? Please explain sir thanks
No, if you want to go faster, you need stickers. Ideally, the more you have, the faster you go…so I have been told.
@@stiben718 which stickers, where does one buy these I would like to know thx
@@hayden8693 not sure dude…so I have been told. Anyone else w experience wanna chime in?
Detailed. But I wouldn't call it rotate.
Still not a ‘rotating’ mount. It only transforms the mount from static to adjustable. It keeps the screen in landscape ratio
Yes, Adjustable would be a much more descriptive term. I was wondering how the Tesla software would cope when the screen was flipped from landscape to portrait and only at the end was it clear what this does which is very useful and something the car should have had in the first p,ace.
Do these fit 2023 Model Y
Yes
I don’t think I would ever need this
awful product design on that cover....
