Just a note on the Olaplex shampoo and any other shampoo that is high in pH: The reason they are that high is so the cuticle of the hair can open a bit to enable the ingredients to better penetrate the hair. It's much more important to have a conditioner or final rinse that is pH balanced rather than the shampoo. That's why a vinegar water rinse is so popular, because it closes the cuticle back up. At any rate, you have a gorgeous head of hair so you must be doing something right. And your hairdresser is fire! Perfect color!
^^^ I couldn’t have said it better myself! Having a higher ph in the product is optimal for the hair to be able to absorb the ingredients in the shampoo and conditioner.
I completely agree with you. You explained it far better rather than scare people away from the haircare. Some of these TH-camrs should start having a fine for sending out wrong information when they aren't even expert. Yes, there are products one should be aware of but to learn from knowledgeable people.
Totally understand about acrylics damaging your nail. I was like that too when I went to the salon. However, since COVID I have been doing my own nails and came to the realization that it was NOT the acrylics ruining my nails...it was improper removal. Since doing my own, never had an issue with nail breakage or thinning. I do acrylics or hard gel on my natural nail and then dip or apply gel polish over it. I use peel base under my colors so that when I want to switch, I can without causing damage to the acrylic or gel underneath. While it did take a month of trial and error for me to get it right, it was worth it. Watched videos on TH-cam..... Marla Kriss is a good one
love this! good for you! That's a great skill to have, and way to focus on the health of your nails. It is crazy bc at the salon they just focus on getting the acrylic off & those high speed drills are def not meant for your real nails.
@@amberlamplabarge5287 Acrylics and gel overlay are not bad for your nails if they are done and removed properly. I’m all for it …just hate paying for it so I do myself :)
@@y.c.6181 i can do one hand okay but when doing my right hand, my child could do better!! And i dont get tips, just the acrylic over my real nails to make them harder so they never actually come off. But uf you have a tio on doing your right hand, im all ears!!! Lol
In terms of the OLAPLEX shampoo, 6-6.5 is definitely a higher pH than human hair’s natural pH level, but as long as you’re following up with a good conditioner, which will, by design, lower the hair’s pH to its optimal level, you’re really not going to run into any long term issues with your hair. It would be more of an issue if you were shampooing and just skipping the conditioning step entirely.
Another thing is olaplex isn’t something you should use every wash. It’s recommended to use it once a week at most. Typically olaplex is used for the bonding ingredients and is best after bleaching/ coloring the hair
@V yes, conditioner still maintains the hairs ideal pH for the most part, even after rinsing it out. That’s why your hair still feels slippery and detangled even after rinsing out the product. It also depends on the performance of the specific conditioner you’re using. If there is any sort of pH disruption, a good leave-in conditioner will be beneficial as well.
@@brookegainey6485 OLAPLEX shampoo and conditioner can absolutely be used every single wash. That’s how it was designed to be used in order to keep the hair fortified. Some of the other treatment based products in their system shouldn’t be used daily. Just depends on what you’re using.
I love the olaplex 0 and 3 treatment together, which might be a good replacement for your oils routine. I love that, except for the new purple shampoo, olaplex is made in the US (not shipped). I do like to do a different brand mask after that treatment (I'm just using it up since I don't like it that much, and I feel like they work well together.) Sounds like the rice water did a number on your hair- I'm so curious.
And it's better to have deodorant than antiperspirant as we supposed to sweat and not kill the sweat glands and produce more bad odour, idea is to kill the smell of the sweat.
Seriously! I love native for the attempt for natural products and the smell is so long lasting. I stress sweat a lot (thanks anxiety) and for the past year ive had nothing but great things to say about native helping that
@@nikkialexandria5992 try a baking soda free deodorant. I’ve been using deodorant for 12 years and realized baking soda irritates me. Since switching to BSF deodorant, I dint get the burning, irritation and darkness.
There's a very big misconception about deoderant (natural or not) versus antiperspirant. Deoderant only works on odor, it will not prevent perspiration which is why you still sweat and feel damp. Enter anti perspire ent . This stops you from sweating at all. That's the equivalent of using conditioner in your hair, when you want a shampoo. They do 2 different things. I had to switch back to antiperspirant as well, I just couldn't find a deoderant that controlled the odor (I gave it a year), so if you use something that doesn't allow you too sweat, bacteria (which is what causes the smell) doesn't have a chance to form.
I went on natural deodorant band wagon too but found after awhile it was ineffective at controlling odour. The best thing I’ve used so far is actually a benzoyl peroxide cleanser that I used as an underarm mask in the shower. I leave it on for a couple of minutes and pretty much can get away with not using anything else. I would recommend however that you find one that is less than 5% as 5% can be a bit irritating. As well, switch to white towels as the peroxide will leave bleach stains on a coloured towel.
I read that you can use a benzoyl peroxide wash under your arms to help kill the bacteria that causes the odor. I haven't tried it myself, I hate the feeling of damp armpits so I always use an antiperspirant!
Water has a normal pH of 7. So the olaplex shampoo shouldn't be that harmful, particularly when it's job is to cleanse the hair and not close the cuticle so that the conditioner can heal the disulfide bonds and close the hair cuticle. Just a thought.
Thank you! It sounds so extreme to hear that a shampoo has a pH WAAAAAAAY too high…..and then you realize that you literally couldn’t bathe if you were going to live by that philosophy.
I think it’d probably be more important to have pH balanced leave in/styling products. Because once it’s time to rinse out the shampoo and conditioner we’d be raising the pH of our hair thanks to the water.
Also a greater pH lifts cuticles of hair and cleans it nicely which is why saloon sometimes use it. It cleans built up nicely. If you are dealing it with a nice conditioner it ll be totally fine
Cerave cleared up my lifelong KP within weeks. Very good product. Olapex has strengthened my blonde hair and helped it grow. Will keep using these lifesaver.
To apply the Tanologist Water Spray, I just spray it on the mitt and rub it on my skin. That way I can count the sprays to get the same amount on each side, and I don't have to worry about the liquid going everywhere or awkward spraying angles. Works really well this way! I like it better when I'm in a hurry bc I find it dries faster than the mousse when applied this way.
The women of India have been using oils in their hair for centuries. They have different combinations but the organic castor oil is ALWAYS in the mixture. It’s thick so you need to warm up your oils before applying. Leave in overnight, if not most of the day. I love it ! Have my own combo and use it once a week.
@@TheBeautybound just put it on so it reaches all the hair and scalp and massage. On dry hair, that’s important. I use my fingers to massage but if you have something to use go for it!
🙌🏼 thank you so much for mentioning the marketing within clean beauty. As an esthetician it’s exhausting constantly working to counteract alot of the miseducation people see on a tiktok, Facebook post or in advertisement disguised as educational. What a lot of people also don’t realize that sourcing natural ingredients is so much more taxing on the environment and then the products either aren’t effecting or go bad so quickly because of marketing propaganda claiming preservatives aren’t safe. I’m not knocking anyone for what they choose to use, I’m simply in the business of what’s safest and gives the best results. There was a time when I couldn’t decipher and ingredient list and relied mostly on marketing to dictate where my money went. We’re all learning and growing, including myself. Not trying to spark any heated discussion, the research speaks for itself- just wanted to show my support.
Right! Ask your dermatologist for a prescription, check good RX and you’ll find an option cheaper than these subscription services. It takes me months to go through Tretinoin (and it should if you’re using it properly!)
I think it is more for people who can't afford to go to the dermatologist or insurance doesn't cover it. If you have to pay out of pocket for the doctor's visit, it doesn't matter how cheap GoodRx makes it.
@@TheBeautybound Things like tretinoin are often prescribed by GPs. And even if you don't have one and use a sliding scale clinic for basic healthcare those doctors can prescribe it as well. If you're not working or make very little Medicaid provides free healthcare, including most specialists like dermatologists and psychiatrists. Using GoodRx is often recommended by those doctors.
@@ajae... I appreciate what you are sharing, Good Rx is great and it is helpful for you to bring it to people's attention, but I guess it just depends on the doctors and the systems in your area. Most GPs won't write a prescription for trentinoin for aging concerns, only for medical conditions. Many plans, even free ones, typically require a referral for a specialist and that typically requires a medical issue as well. I'm just saying, if you want it expressly for anti-aging, it is cheaper to go the subscription route for many people. Also, a lot less hoops. If you have acne or medical issues with your skin, it is absolutely a good idea to go the medical route if that option is available to you. Medical coverage, availability to care and insurance plans vary WIDELY.
@@TheBeautybound That's a good distinction to make. I once had a GP give me a prescription for Tazorac for my acne even though my insurance didn't cover it even with a prior authorization. It's coverd for psoriasis, so she went that route. At the time it was the most effective for me, and she took care of me. I'm not above some underhanded tactics to get what I need. I don't know if you're capable of getting pimples, but how about slathering your face with vaseline or whatever breaks you out a few days before you see your GP. If it's just one pimple then freak out like it's the end of the world, and you might get your prescription. You could also say you just experienced a breakout, but it cleared up over the weekend and you don't want another. I'm kidding. But not really. Capitalism uses dirty tricks support insurance companies, so why not use them too? Or you could just use Agency if it actually is less expensive and you don't want to scam your doctor.
I currently use Curology and wasn't aware of Agency. I'm currently looking into switching over as I'm more concerned about aging and less about acne. So glad you shared this!
On your points on nails - I quit getting gel manis at the start of this -endless- pandemic, and switched to Dazzle Dry! I don’t rep them, just have the system and a lot of colors, love changing the color and doing my own nails. This stuff dries in five minutes rock hard, ie go right into your purse dry, my nails look great, polish lasts so long and most important nails are healthy two years later. Give it a try! Love all your info (although I am old enough to be your mom so some of my aging issues you don’t know about yet!)
I appreciate your scientific approach, especially with regard to clean beauty. I don’t like confrontation, so rarely mention it, but brand marketing can be really annoying. I’m also allergic to fragrance, so love your skincare recommendations. Thanks for all the great videos in 2021!
"Scientific approach" - where?! That pH stuff is not explaining that Olaplex is 5.8-6.2 - which is fine - most importantly it has no SLS/sulphates, & is gentle but effective. The water you use to wash your hair in is pH7! ( - or more in hard water areas.) & Olaplex conditioner - is approx pH 4.0 - 5.0 - don't skip the conditioner ofc, & you will be fine. The words you're looking for are pseudo science. & nobody has yet managed to link standard anti perspirants with anything; some ppl suspect they may cause..but no proof still; the FDA wouldn't allow their use if there was anything concrete🙏
I’m very open to trying “clean” beauty products, but I agree that sometimes brands use scare tactics that aren’t backed by good research. I have very sensitive skin and almost all of the products I’ve reacted to have been “clean.” I love that they work for many people, but I need products that are fragrance-free and more gentle. Thanks for keeping it real!
Never commented before but I love your content - it’s very helpful to me. I actually search your videos when I’m looking into a product to see if you’ve reviewed it. Wondering if you’d consider doing a video on “clean beauty” and why many of the ingredients that are demonized really aren’t bad for us. I’ve gotten caught up in the scare tactics many times but never seem to find “clean” products that work for me. Not to mention many of those product lines are pricey. It’s clear you’ve done your research and understand ingredients and their pros and cons. Anyway, love your stuff and you crack me up sometimes! Happy New Year!
Interesting comment re the revlon - I still love mine but use it only with heat protectant spray, use my blow dryer to dry my hair (no brush just use my fingers), then section hair and use the Revlon on low for a few minutes to style. I get styling, body and smoothness without the damage 👍
Yup that’s how youre supposed to use it. So if people are using it as a replacement of a blow dryer than that’s why your hair is getting damaged. It’s the same as any other heat tool
If you wanna avoid aluminum, the old spice deodorant is great! Wilderness scent and wolf horn are not manly smelling. I never could find a natural one that kept me stinkfree especially in SC summer.
100% agree about that L'Oreal True Match Serum Foundation + NYX Serum Concealer combo - it is MAGIC. I'm in my mid-40's, have dry skin with rosacea and even when I'm having a flare, these two products work beautifully together! Both have a beautiful, skin-like finish but the combo gives such good coverage. Amazing really, particularly given how thin (in the good way) the formulas both are. Highly, highly recommend both products and am now just mad it took me until November to give in to the urge to try the serum foundation LOL. Love your content and your commitment to honesty, clarity and facts! Happy New Year!
im so glad too see the natural deodorant in this video, i also fell into the natural deodorant trap and used native for i think almost 2 years when the newer studies finally came out showing that regular deodorant really isnt as terrible as everyone was making it seem. i sweat so so much and this past summer just decided i couldnt handle it anymore and im so glad i switched back it has helped tremendously and made me so much less self concious
Crystal stick deodorants have always been the best to control odor in my opinion, but everyone’s body chemistry is different. There’s also a BAD purging period when switching from antiperspirants to non-antiperspirants, usually around two weeks, but it can vary. You smell. You’ll sweat. Like NEVER before. Then *usually* (key word) one day you just stop (if you’ve found what works for you. I will say even now, sometimes my body says it needs a break from the Crystal / salt rock (never smelly, just not as great), then it starts working at optimal level. I recently started using Hibiclens and Panoxyl mixed together for any sweaty / bacteria areas (I was also recently diagnosed to Folliculitis, face and body). ❤️💛💙
@@ashleyh9695 unfortunately i tried the crystal kind and i gave it a lot of time, on top of already having been using natural deodorant for a year when i tried the crystal kind. i wanted it to work for me but it just didnt for the amount i sweat and it makes me uncomfortable to smell and sweat through shirts even if its natural! but maybe one day i will try again or find one i that really does work for me
I’ve never even tried a natural deodorant. I hate to sweat, and for that reason, I have always, and will continue, to use my antiperspirant, aluminum and all.
@@salmach5611 check to see if they have Sodium Bicarbonate in them, that’s usually what breaks people out into a red rash with natural deodorants. Otherwise you can always try washing with just PanOxyl, or PanOxyl and Hibiclens (I buy the generic) from Walgreens. Both fight bacteria, so they’ll combat the nasties that create odor, and PanOxyl is Peroxide based, which helps with sweat. I’ve been using just these the past few days (adding Lumiere from online as backup), and I’ve had no odor or sweat. ❤️💛💙
Neither Agency nor Curology are needed. Just get an Rx for generic tretinoin and you'll actually pay less -- even without insurance! I've been doing it for nearly 40 years!
@@zoeberry33 If your Dr says it's for acne (even if it is for anti aging) your insurance is more likely to cover it...mine did. BUT if your insurance won't cover, GoodRX is absolutely the way to go! Getting a bottle of Tret is WAAAAY cheaper than paying for an online service. I went through the whole Curology thing. I question whether their Derms are actually real Dr's lol.. All mine were complete idiots and would never respond to my concerns.. They would message me back, but completely ignore all the questions I had asked.. It did not work for me.
@@Maria-ss7ir don’t use it on completely wet hair. your hair should be slightly damp when you use it and obviously use a heat protector with it. If you use it that way you’ll only have to go through each section 3-5 times (on the lowest setting). I use it like this and don’t have any issues with it.
@@Giulia-yx8tr That's how I use it, too. My hair is thin and frizzy, so my ends air-dry much faster. So, I'll use it on my ends when they're almost dry, then wait another 15 minutes or so before doing the crown. I know it's not the best for my hair, but even using sponge rollers or anything similar to sleep in will not reduce the frizz like the Revlon . I just wake up with curly, frizzy, thin looking hair..lol..
i can assure you that argan oil and marula oil will not do anything bad to your hair unless you have abnormally greasy hair (but they are too precious to use on hair despite what people do; you can have the same effect from an olive oil mask). they're just vegetable oils made of essential fatty acids (~99%) and a tiny amount of anti-oxidants etc. squalane won't damage your hair either, but it's not made for hair masks. it's a tiny fraction of olive oil that was extracted and that has a dry-touch that allows you to use it in cosmetic formulation to have less greasy finishes in face and hair serums. you can use it as a a styling product mixed with other oils that you love.
Yes!! Love that you brought up natural deodorant. I went through the same phase with switching to natural and it just disappoints. Not to mention the coconut oils, etc. in natural deodorant stains your workout clothes worse than regular sweat!
The water that you use to rinse your hair is ph 7 though..🙈 Olaplex shampoo is around pH6 - which is perfectly fine & will NOT harm your hair (espc the "blonde enhancing" shampoo - is between pH5.8 & 6.2..💫) I suspect the original Olaplex shampoo is more between those 2 figures, but they used to round it up to 6 bc - in the real world etc..) Yes your scalp is pH is approx 5.5..& the hair prob rests at around pH 4.5 - 5.5 itself - but that shampoo is "pH balanced" to be optimally effective for use, it must be "effective enough" to remove what it's meant to remove - & it undergoes rigorous tests - if it wasn't "suitable" for bleached hair - they wouldn't bottle the shampoo & sell it as part of that Olaplex system - & unless you've figured out a way to change the pH of the water you use to wash your hair in - ie make it "more acidic" - no ppl, don't go adding lemon juice to your rinse..🙈 (& hard water areas are worse than ever, re alkalinity) - you hv more to worry about with the water. (I would point out the the irony of ppl bleaching their hair blonde at a pH of (anybody's guess; certainly highly alkaline) - then deciding that a pH difference of about 0.5 is going to make a huge difference. (Suspect much of this is for the other brand's shampoo - to "get one over" olaplex - which is the industry standard💫 that evbdy else has copied - they hv decided to use influencer fronted pseudo science, to say "Oh, ours will be 0.5 pH different, so it's "better." bc your scalp is pH5.5 - so if your shampoo is between 5.8/6.2 - well ouf, that will damage it...(!)🙄Not really. Note that Olaplex shampoo, is optimally designed to use with its products, & is SLS/sulphates free💡- which rlly matters - but! - a co wash of a different kind may not remove everything it should, when shampooing 💡 & that's a) bad for your hair & b) any buildup will go a way to "ruin" a blonde shade, & 💡may stop the conditioner doing its job💡 but, most importantly, the Olaplex conditioner that you apply next - is pH 4.5 - 5.0; & so all will be well..💡 (Tbh, this is why none scientist) types shd not hv access to these stats - bc unless they're qualified to know what they're reading💡.. you know?! I suspect it sounds good when an influencer tells a bunch of none professionals, oh the pH is better on this shampoo than Olaplex shampoo - but in the real world..hm..Not really🙏💜(I could be less kind..) NB; I should be getting paid for my expertise here..🙄 - mine are science based though, I'm not actually a hairstylist/colour specialist. (& the Revlon one-step dryer⭐ - millions sold around the world every minute - bc it's very very good, used properly it rlly works - & is relatively inexpensive, too. (The Dyson dryer - good but expensive, the Dyson air wrap - still needs work yet.) Stick with the Revlon, yet, ppl🙏
I love your positive energy, Abbey, and that you're so transparent about how and when you change your mind. I've left behind all my old "budget" shampoos and switched to many of the hair products you've recommended, and my hair thanks you! I hope 2022 in Chicago is your best year yet!
I also stopped the Olaplex shampoo. I miss the smell and how little you had to use to get such an amazing lather. A year or so ago I stoped the one step styler because my hair was so damaged. And after a year of stopping my hair is so much better now. And the K18 totally fixed the damage!
OMG!!! I bought the L’Oréal serum foundation because of your last review and I’m absolutely OBSESSED!!! New holy grail!!! Thank you sooooo much!!! I can’t wait to try the NYX concealer but it’s sold out everywhere! Lol
I found that the cerave foaming cleanser for normal to oily skin works amazing for me (normal/combo and oily in t zone)! I also love the nutricentials pure cleansing gel and Nuskin ageloc cleanser. I switch out because of skin changed throughout the year! Worked wonders for my oily rosaceafied skin!
I used Curology for 6 months it didn’t quite help me because I was dealing with major inflammation so that’s why I went to a dermatologist and prescribe me doxycycline pills. I do think it varies depending on your skin and what your going through.
I realized too a lot of people don’t stay in contact with their provider to get their formulas changed if needed depending on what they need, I’ve been using it for over a year an I’ve had 2 different kids of formulas, both did what I needed but yea ur right it does vary on what you need
A pH of six or 6.5 is perfect for hair! I don’t know what you’re talking about? Anything over seven as what you want to stay away from. I think you’ll have a hard time finding anything that’s less than six or 6.5 PH
Hi Abbey! My husband has atopic dermatitis, mainly for some reason on his chest. He’s seen a dermatologist and was extensively tested for sensitivities/allergies. It’s just weird, because even the derm seems confounded. We both did a LOT of research, and hit many dead ends. Some research indicated salicylic acid ‘might’ help. I got him the CeraVe Salicylic cleanser which he uses every day, followed by Vanicream moisturizer. I’m not advising anyone else to treat their atopic dermatitis this way, but it works for him, after over a year of Rx meds, and trying what seemed like everything! Happy new year!
I switched to Agency also. I'm still waiting for my first bottle but it's much more what I'm looking for. I'm 48 and acne isn't my prime concern. Love your videos. So informative. Happy New Year
Question about Agency. I've used Curology for almost 3 years. Back then, Curology was used for anti-aging or acne. I don't have any dark spots, which is what I'm always hearing others talk about for their reason to switch to Agency. They want the ingredient to lighten those dark spots. Is there another reason to switch other than to help dark spots? Thanks for any insight! 💜
@luv2garden1 Agency seems to be geared towards anti aging imo. The future cream does have other anti aging ingredients that are not in curology. You do not have to purchase the dark spot cream if you don't need it. I hope this helps
@Amanda Jordan thanks. All I've ever heard anyone talk about, is the dark spot. Or niacinamides, which Curology also offers. So I don't understand, especially since it's so much more expensive after the first year. 🤷♀️💜
The best thing for nail recovery is any 20% urea hand cream! My dermatologist prescribed that for me after a bad experience with gel removal, my nails were super thin and kept peeling. I bought a big bottle of cetaphil rough and bumpy and have been keeping that in my desk to use every time after I wash my hands. I’ve always had brittle nails and can’t believe how healthy and strong my nails are now.
I hated the Cerave SA cleanser as well, it dried my skin and actually made me break out so I ended up using it as body wash. I’m surprised to see a those Olaplex products and also NARS, although I prefer their radiant longwear foundation to the soft matte one which looks too heavy and fake imo. I stopped buying the ordinary products this year, I have found other brands like face theory and more Japan and Korean beauty brands that I prefer
Abbey, can you do a review on blow dryers? I want the healthiest one for my hair but it’s a little confusing with ions or non-ionic and everyone pushes the Dyson… I’ve been using the Revlon one step since my old blow dryer died but I agree with you, I feel like it’s not healthy for my hair. A review on budget friendly, mid range and high end blow dryers and what Ionic means would be awesome! Would also love an updated styling/after shower routine for your hair. 😊
Very much agree on Revlon Styler. I got the T3 Airebrush and using it on low fan with a higher heat has been GREAT for my hair (especially while I’ve been training my new bangs). Started using Biotera shampoo and conditioner from Sally’s actually and it’s been a GREAT switch from the Shea Moisture I was using. I frequently have to change my shampoo and conditioner but this line has been great.
I’ve stopped using olaplex shampoo and it’s crazy how much better my hair is after the fact. I was thinking I’m blonde so I need olaplex when in reality is was just too harsh for my hair! Thanks for the positive and honest feedback!!
I got off the acrylic nail carousel too and it took over a year to get my nails healthy again. I never enjoyed the process and time I spent at the nail salon either, but the temptation to do it again is always there. I refer back to a picture I took of my ruined nails when I’m having a weak moment to remind me!
Also, bought the L’Oréal foundation, nyx concealer and the bybie face wash. Excited to try them! You haven’t let me down with any other favorites so I’m sure I’ll love these!
There was a time about 20 years ago (yes I’m old) when I got acrylic overlays every other week for about two years. I also love polish and would still change my polish every week. Of course this was long before color gels. I’ve been back to natural nails now and will never look back.
For people still wanting to avoid aluminum deodorants (not antiperspirants), I've tried a lot and I can vouch for the Kosas one. Shmidts, Tom's of Maine, Salt Rock, Each & Every, Little Seed Farm, Lume, etc. All those are just sort of like cover up air freshners for your pits. Whereas Kosas has low amounts of skincare acids that truly kill the smelly bacteria with no residue on your clothes in a convenient rollerball delivery system and a clear fragrance free option. Wait for a sale and try it. If you need an actual hard core anti perspirant, Certain Dri is where it's at. But I prefer to not do that for every day.
I suggest looking into a toner for your underarms after shave/shower? Or just add it into your morning skin care routine, adding deodorant is still needed but it'll help significantly.
Hi there, I’m not a big commenter on youtube but I just wanted to say that I really love watching your videos, especially while I’m doing my skincare routines/getting ready. You have such an authentic and warm personality that I can’t help but feel like I’m hanging with a friend! Thank you for the great content and for being you 🤗
Love your content! I was never a fan of the Olaplex shampoo…made my hair feel so weird & it was super sticky! Makes since with ph levels. I absolutely love their bonder #6 & #3 repair/strengthener!!! Still coming around for the number 8 leave in conditioner.Thank you so much for all the data/science back up on products! I tried the “natural” deodorant it did not cut it for me either…you gotta do what works for you :-) Conrads on going full time on TH-cam can’t wait to see all your future videos this year!
One more thing. My hair! UGH! It's very long but I noticed something strange. Can someone please tell me (if you can) why this happens)? I read to hold about an inch of my hair towards the ends and see if it stretches, bounces back, ect. When I did that and run my fingers down the one strand of hair like coiled up. Whatever causes that must be what causes my severe knots. I have very slight wavy hair but yet the density is low due to shedding and breakage, and it between fine and normal. No matter what conditioner, hair mask, or detangler that I use it still does this. It's just so weird! When my hair is dry and I try to separate it before brushing it's like clung together on the length only. Do I need moisture or protein? What am I missing here?
I used to use the Pureology Strength Cure shampoo. I use Olaplex now. I have found that it's much more moisturizing. And 6-6.5 is pH balanced, not high.
I’ve used the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner for years. It’s makes my platinum bleached hair soft and Shiny. I’ve tried other ones here and there but always go back to Olaplex.
Thanks for the info about Agency, I use Curology now just for anti-aging so Agency might work better for me. Interestingly I started out using Apostrophe, but had a terrible experience with them. I was using them to get tretinoin, and one time they sent me my formula without the tret. I knew this because the color of the lotion was pure white and I could immediately tell my skin was “de-retinizing” (if you use tret you know what I mean). I even used it on my neck to make absolutely sure I was right (my neck can’t handle any tret whatsoever). Did that for two weeks and yep, it was just basic lotion. I contacted them and they refused to do anything for me, and said it was impossible for them to have made a mistake. So I was out 75 bucks for a useless lotion. That’s when I decided to switch to Curology, and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with them.
I love Curology! They have an amazing service and it is really reasonably priced ♡ I am actually buying it again because of Mask-ne. But It helped clear my skin up so much the first time, that I hardly had to use it and my skin still stayed clear. But I ran out and now am working where I need to wear a mask all the time. So buying again. And love it
I also no longer use Olaplex. noticed about three weeks ago my hair shedding like crazy and breaking very easily. I started using Olaplex about three months ago after going a little more blonde than I already was. Worked fine the first few weeks until I noticed what I mentioned before. Never had any breakage like this or hair loss in the shower or out of the brush. Ive had weft hair extensions and been silver before. No issues, with this before using Olaplex. I recently, a month ago had my normal follow up with my Dr. All labs were normal, including with hormones, etc. I don't take any medications and have no health issues. Only new thing introduced was the Olaplex. My hair stylist was even shocked this last time I went in for a tone at how much I was shedding and loosing while brushing my hair. She was thinking maybe the olaplex was adding to much protein or bonding my hair too much which was causing the breakage. I only wash my hair once a week because I have naturally really thick curly hair. Just started using Ouai and Im hoping the hair loss and breakage stops soon. My friend uses Olaplex with no issues, so it might just happen randomly depending on your hair texture, chemicals, etc.
I got acrylics in July for the first time in years. It took me about 5 months for my nails to heal and grow out the kinks that the acrylics left behind. Never again!💜
This used to happen to me until i found a good nail tech. I get my nails done only at her place. I had acrylics since July up until now (i did them every 3 weeks) when i removed them, and i have very slight nail damage that isnt noticable and completely got back to normal within less than a week
I've learned to use structured soak-off gels (not hard gels) to extend a broken nail. If you are patient, you can remove with zero damage. I change my nail colour every few days, and paint over the gel and remove with nail polish remover, repaint, repeat. Mind, I avoid glitters and textured polishes over a gel extension because soaking the glitter off will cause the gel to lift. And definitely not gel polish! Although I don't buff off shine (which removes several layers of nail, so it's damaging), I can get these to last a few months (with fills) - by then my natural nail is long enough and perfectly healthy (I.e. the top layers aren't destroyed like you experienced). I've recently discovered a Japanese product that doesn't require buffing/removing the shine, so I'm going to give that a go as I used a lot of product learning to make an extension. You probably don't want to learn extensions, but you should be able to find a salon that does soak-off gel extensions. Tell them you want to use your own polish and they'll leave it clear or pink-natural. When it's time to ditch extension, you will need nail polish remover (pure acetone is faster, but don't feel you have to run out and purchase), cotton pads, tin foil, a cuticle pusher (I prefer wooden for this), and a rough grit nail file (I use 100/180, but whatever you have). File the top of your extensions, careful not to touch natural nail or skin, to rough it up and add more area for acetone to seep into. Soak cotton pad in acetone, place atop nail, and wrap with tin foil). Wait 10 minutes. Remove. Use cuticle pusher to gently push pieces off. The pieces will be like acetate paper. Don't force and resist the temptation to pull. You may want to use file again if you are sure you won't hitt natural nail. Soak cotton in acetone, yadda yadda yadda, rinse and repeat. I find I have to do three times.
Love you sm Abbey but one clarifying question: you said you stopped using the three oils because you didn't want 100% strength of one ingredient, and switched to an oil with mixed ingredients. Umm... If you're using 3 products... What you're putting on your hair is only 33% of each ingredient...? Which is analogous to a mix anyway? Am I missing something??
I think she means mixed with other non-oil ingredients. I can no longer tolerate raw oils. They have to be mixed with other non-oil ingredients. It's the difference between using say lavender essentials oil, coconut oil mixed with lavender essential oil, lavender water and lavender soap.
Same for me on acrylics kept doing it over and over now nails have permanent ridges, but I agree they do look so nice. And agree on Deodorant too I don’t care what kind of natural one I chose, I smelled a little to “natural” 😖 Great video, it was my first time watching
Happy New Year, Abbey. I definitely know that the Revlon styling brush was destroying my hair. I have fine hair, and was looking for something to give it body. This brush was too heavy, way too hot (even on the lower setting, and drying my hair out. I get it with the acrylic nails. I did them for years, then switched over to gel. Both destroyed my nails. They're still not great. Hope you are enjoying your new home❣❤🎉🎊
So agree with the acrylic nails! Oh my gosh, the first time I got them done I was obsessed!! Later when I took it off I noticed the damage it had on my nails. I have strong thick nails and after this, they became so brittle and started to chip off with the slightest touch. I swear not to do them again. It took so long to get my strong nails back. They are totally damaging to your nails girls. They will make them weak and prone to breakage.
I agree with you on the Revlon styler. When I bought and used it, I immediately returned it. The air is too hot and I had to pull on my fine, damaged hair while wet! No thank you. Thanks for all you do! 💕 EDIT: My hair was not "dripping wet" when I used this tool, it was DAMP as instructed. This tool did not work for ME but could work well for others with a different hair type.
It’s not a perfect tool and I understand it won’t work for everyone, but you definitely shouldn’t be using it on wet hair!! your hair should be damp so you only have to go through each section a handful of times on the lowest heat setting. That being said, if you have very fine and damaged hair I can see why you wouldn’t like it. 😅
@@Giulia-yx8tr Exactly! When I used it, my hair was "damp" and it was an extremely damaging tool. When I said "wet", I did not mean I used it on dripping wet hair.
@@Allisonkayh_ If you read my reply above, I noted that my hair was not dripping wet, it was damp.....lol. When said wet hair, to me, that means not completely dry. 😂
@@kaci8611 yeah I did read that but it still shouldn’t be damp. Should be 80% dry given I don’t know your definition of damp but to me that’s still pretty wet.
I feel your nail pain!! The last time I had acrylics, my lady also added shellac with the acrylic and the aftermath was completely deadly. It took me months to recover as well. I used hard as hoof nail cream and it worked wonders to repair my nail bed!!!!
I was shocked when I read the back of Secret and there was a warning for people who have kidney disease bc you cant filter aluminum fast enough--and then to think about all the places we exposed to aluminimum in cooking. i found that doing clay mask in the underarms has been very helpful in reducing odor and keeping the lymph around the breast detoxed. personally I love native but i understand for some occasions someone may want something more dry? im just used to it and i stay clean as possible bc of past kidney issues as well as blood work/hair tests that showed high aluminum

Wonderful Video! Im a professional hairstylist. I 💖 how you explained the Olaplex Shampoo.. Its Ph is High 6.0-6.5 and the Conditioner is 4.5-5.5. With your information Olaplex works best after a Olaplex treatment or after using a chemical service with Olaplex #1. Etc. I think their concept is to slowing bring your hair down to the proper Ph which should be between 4.5-5.5. without ruining the new bonds that it formed. And also so the Shampoo & Conditioner be used together/in conjunction . Marketing strategy. Thats wise not to use just the shampoo. Olaplex wasn't designed like that. Once again Great Information! 💜💜💜💜
I learned so much about hair care from you! Thank you for spreading the knowledge! After spacing out the days between hair wash, I find that I’m more prone to dandruffs. Could you please share your strategy combating itchy oily scalp? What is some low pH dandruff specific shampoo recommendations?
Thanks for the video! My hair is as just as long as yours (colored treated, fine/medium and straight). What is your favorite shampoo and conditioner that you suggested? Keep the videos coming 😀
Deodorant is to keep you from smelling and an antiperspirant is to keep you from sweating. That's why you still get wet with a deodorant only. Also the combo oil you now use on your hair is it not 100 percent natural oils? And if not what is used as a filler for the oils used?
I love that you share what products you have changed your mind about and stopped using. It's wonderful to hear you talk about what you've discovered works best for you. I also appreciate your explanations for why you've changed your mind but we all have the right to change our minds, and we don't owe anyone an explanation. Another thing is I have been using the cerave cleanser too but it’s the BPO one ,(cerave BPO one ) and I use it in shower to clean under arms . It helps with bacteria which is what odor is caused from . The formulas not drying at all . Thanks to Dr Dray she told me about it and I have been using over a year. It works ! Give it a try 👍🏻😉
honestly the hair oils and rice water comparison doesn’t make sense at all. the reason you may have experienced breakage could be due to the starch present in the rice water. oils have no starch, and changing 100% oil to a combination of different oils would probably do no difference at all since hair is dead tissue and has no reparative properties eg. you can’t expect much from hair products besides some silkiness and shine (this don’t apply to scalp, but scalp is skin, not hair).
Recently began using Olaplex 4 & 5. My hair is fine and straight and I don't have a lot of it. Was using Kerastase Maintenance shampoo and conditioner. Don't know Kerastase shampoo pH but it was very drying for my dry hair and scalp. The Kerastase conditioner is okay but needed a lot of product to get a result. Results significantly better with Olaplex. Hair feels smoother and has some shine. Also tried Pureology Strength and was also better than Kerastase. You can buy travel size samples of Olaplex and Pureology before buying a full size container. Both the Olaplex and Pureology shampoos only required a dime sized blob to suds up my head of super fine hair.
You’ve taught me a lot with watching this video! And when it comes to the nail stuff, I understand. I barely ever got acrylics because they ended up destroying my nails so I stopped but for the longest time I was trying to find a way to do my nails myself at home and make then last the longest AND not destroy them just like when you get acrylics done and I went for hard gel and IT IS AMAZING! I can use a clear coat of it and paint over it with a gel color or just use my nude color hard gel and it lasts! I also use the Onyx Professional Hard as Hoof nail strengthener when my nails were super thin and weak or if I still need it and I’m glad I got it. I also prep my hands and nails, use primer, dehydrator, etc. I use use Urban Graffiti “builder in a bottle” for my hard gel-it’s super convenient. I mainly use Urban Graffiti for the my top coat layer as well but if I’m just changing color I tend to use Valentino. I also mostly Valentino and Madam Glam as another but I have so other brand stuff for if I’m feeling a like being bit more fun . I usually use one of my Valentino (glossy or matte) for the top coat and top it off with some cuticle oil and lotion and no acrylics needed!🤩 I love the the information you always bring us. Thank you so much! Good luck on your nail journey!
Sooo agree with you about the nails. Took me 3 months to get my nails back to a healthy state. I take nourishing waves plus which is a liquid formula to support hair skin and nails. One teaspoon a day and I now have to cut my nails as they are so strong and healthy.
So I’m a little confused. Are you now using these other oils at night the same way? Can I do this with any kind?? For example Pureology Shine Bright Weightless Hair Taming Serum? Thank you abbey! ❤️
Thanks Abbey! I love hearing if you changed your mind about a product you used to love. Great video. What products do you use from Agency? I should look into that!
I have to disagree on the switch from Curology. My curology formula is Tretinoin, azelaic acid, and niacinamide. I see no reason to pay more money for the same thing with agency, especially when a lot of derms suggest not using more than 3 actives at a time. Not to mention I just saw that Curology has a dark spot formula as well that can have hydroquinone in it, just like Agency but the Curology one is cheaper. Seems like a ploy to get older folks that are only interested to aging to pay more money for the same thing to me, which is really shady. At least that is my take.
@@Keaira_Johnson The highest percentage you can get from the pharmacy is 0.1%. Curology will actually allow you to go higher than that...but you have to build up to it.
Ok, I’m 50 and have acne around mouth and chin. I also have wrinkles I want to get rid of. Which should I use, Curology or the other one? Forgot the name.
@Eliza Magaña the brand is Oribe. For color hair. I noticed my hair have body after the first week. Olaplex is great but for damaged hair or as a mask every so often but not your go to. Ask your stylist. Mine said STOP using it so often. It is making your hair so flat. It's true. I spent so much time styling it and had no idea why it was so hard to style. My hair is pretty easy to manage.
Hi Abbey!! New subscriber over here 🙋🏻♀️😊 I definitely agree with the whole acrylics thing. Some say it’s improper removal and yes if you don’t remove properly you will absolutely destroy your nails. But I went to cosmetology school and I learned that you should NEVER use drills on bare nails. Every single place I’ve ever had my nails done uses drills on the bare nails. You only have 7 layers in your nail and when you start drilling on the nail you’re immediately weakening it. Salons do this because it will make your acrylics stay on longer. I hate that grow out stage after taking off nails, I hope yours grow back ASAP!! 💙
Abbey, I am a new subbie and I am loving your channel. However I hope I don't sound dumb when I ask.....You are using Tret from Honesty and also prescription Retin-A? If I am incorrect I apologize if not can you explain why both would be needed?
I was not aware Curology was for acne. I have been using it now for over a year for the tretinoin. I have not had acne since I was a teenager. You would think the derm would say I should use Agency instead, if they are the same company. Thank you for opening my eyes to that one.
It can help treat acne, but isn't just for acne. I've been using curology for over a year now and I dont use it to treat acne. I looked into the newer sister brand, but its more expensive and I get the tretinoin for anti aging in my curology so ill stick with that
Speaking of natural nails, have you tried IBX system?Couple months usually fixes my nails and I also frequently change my nail colors (natural nails with builder and gel polish, peel off base are great for changing colors)
I fine the best heated hair products that I use occasionally are the dyson hair dryer. Low heat and the Steampod hair straighteners low heat. An occasionally treat. All heat damages but these are the lowest heat products I have found.
Are most conditioners ph balanced ?
I completely agree with you. You explained it far better rather than scare people away from the haircare. Some of these TH-camrs should start having a fine for sending out wrong information when they aren't even expert. Yes, there are products one should be aware of but to learn from knowledgeable people.

@@CorazonCorazon59 yes. But not every one of them.

I use hair entirely on my scalp and shaft to hydrate, so it's very calming.
I don't get people not understanding the major difference between deodorant (de-odor) and antiperspirant (anti-sweat). It's not that difficult.
And it's better to have deodorant than antiperspirant as we supposed to sweat and not kill the sweat glands and produce more bad odour, idea is to kill the smell of the sweat.
Seriously! I love native for the attempt for natural products and the smell is so long lasting. I stress sweat a lot (thanks anxiety) and for the past year ive had nothing but great things to say about native helping that
@@e4mi I used to love native but it made my armpits dark :(
Everyone I know calls a product applied to the underarm deodorant, even if it's actually an antiperspirant. Language is strange lol.

@@sabr4174 unless you do a low ph rinse, yes.

I like it better when I'm in a hurry bc I find it dries faster than the mousse when applied this way.
The women of India have been using oils in their hair for centuries. They have different combinations but the organic castor oil is ALWAYS in the mixture.
FYI: GoodRx makes many dermatologists prescriptions low cost. Tretinoin can be bought for as low as $25.

@@ashleyh9695 unfortunately i tried the crystal kind and i gave it a lot of time, on top of already having been using natural deodorant for a year when i tried the crystal kind. i wanted it to work for me but it just didnt for the amount i sweat and it makes me uncomfortable to smell and sweat through shirts even if its natural! but maybe one day i will try again or find one i that really does work for me
Everytime I've tried natural deodorants that say are aluminum free my armpits end up irritated lol don't know why
Mine was more without insurance that’s lucky!
Depends on Insurance. Many do not cover it
I like that curology has all 3 ingredients in one. When I was on the derm I had 3 different topicals and it was just annoying
Use goodrx and you'll save like 60% if your insurance doesn't cover it!
What’s key with the Revlon one step styler is to use it correctly, which is a whole other discussion. Only normal hair loss with correct use.
What is the correct way to use it? I'm curious because I don't know if I'm using it the right way. 🤔
Exactly! You’re supposed to wait until hair is 75% dry.
She does use it correctly, the product itself is just damaging
i can assure you that argan oil and marula oil will not do anything bad to your hair unless you have abnormally greasy hair (but they are too precious to use on hair despite what people do; you can have the same effect from an olive oil mask). they're just vegetable oils made of essential fatty acids (~99%) and a tiny amount of anti-oxidants etc. squalane won't damage your hair either, but it's not made for hair masks. it's a tiny fraction of olive oil that was extracted and that has a dry-touch that allows you to use it in cosmetic formulation to have less greasy finishes in face and hair serums. you can use it as a a styling product mixed with other oils that you love.
Yes!! Love that you brought up natural deodorant. I went through the same phase with switching to natural and it just disappoints. Not to mention the coconut oils, etc. in natural deodorant stains your workout clothes worse than regular sweat!
i just got the new foundation u suggested, i love it! i hope u liked your new eyeshadow!
You could be less kind? Lol. You sound absolutely insane.

Yes please keep doing these!! I love how well you explain why you stop using things and that you offer alternatives it’s so helpful

OMG!!! I bought the L’Oréal serum foundation because of your last review and I’m absolutely OBSESSED!!! New holy grail!!! Thank you sooooo much!!! I can’t wait to try the NYX concealer but it’s sold out everywhere! Lol
Same! 🙌
That is such an interesting insight about the cerave SA cleanser! Never knew that if they don’t list the strength it’s under 0.5%! Great video 💜💜
i just got the new foundation u suggested, i love it! i hope u liked your new eyeshadow!
A pH of six or 6.5 is perfect for hair! I don’t know what you’re talking about? Anything over seven as what you want to stay away from. I think you’ll have a hard time finding anything that’s less than six or 6.5 PH
“That could be great for you” 😂😂
That’s amazing it’s worked for him!
I switched to Agency also. I'm still waiting for my first bottle but it's much more what I'm looking for. I'm 48 and acne isn't my prime concern. Love your videos. So informative. Happy New Year
You look great! Whatever you’re doing it’s working!
@@shazee9042 thank you!
9:08 a pH of 6-6.5 is pretty close to neutral. Water has a pH of 7, so clearly we shouldn't ever let water touch our hair?
She doesn’t know what she’s talking about
I hated the Cerave SA cleanser as well, it dried my skin and actually made me break out so I ended up using it as body wash.
Dyson is the best by far. 100% worth the investment. Plus you get like 10 attachments with it
Very much agree on Revlon Styler.
You should try Matrix Unbreak my Blonde shampoo/conditioner + leave in treatment! Game changer! It has helped my over processed hair SO much! ❤
I just bought the olaplex 4&5.😭 What do you use instead that is ph balanced? Any favorites?❤
I think kopari is the best all natural deodorant. It's the only thing that keeps my husband smelling good, he does construction
@@parisinthe30sx what else has he tried that you're comparing it to as a reference?
Schmidt's is really good.
I suggest looking into a toner for your underarms after shave/shower? Or just add it into your morning skin care routine, adding deodorant is still needed but it'll help significantly.
i just got the new foundation u suggested, i love it! i hope u liked your new eyeshadow!

I love the Olaplex shampoo!
I like Olaplex but not for my go to. Only once a month. Makes my hair way to flat.
I’ve used the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner for years. It’s makes my platinum bleached hair soft and Shiny. I’ve tried other ones here and there but always go back to Olaplex.
I found Peach Slices SA cleanser (from CVS) much gentler than the CeraVe one.
And love it
Abbey Speaks the Truth!! Always so open and honest!! Love your videos!!
The tech filed the nailed down too much instead of just buffing. Human error.
@@bdrm2009 the salon who took them off said the same thing, but my nails have always been trashed after acrylics. This time was just extra awful lol
This used to happen to me until i found a good nail tech. I get my nails done only at her place. I had acrylics since July up until now (i did them every 3 weeks) when i removed them, and i have very slight nail damage that isnt noticable and completely got back to normal within less than a week
Olaplex shampoo and conditioner has completely transformed my hair.
YES!!! More videos like this one. It was so much fun!! Happy New Year Abbey
Molly Huber - yah, that's the exact logic that crossed my mind also. Mixing 3 different oils together...same as a 3 different premixed in a bottle🥴
And agree on Deodorant too I don’t care what kind of natural one I chose, I smelled a little to “natural” 😖
Great video, it was my first time watching
Happy New Year, Abbey. I definitely know that the Revlon styling brush was destroying my hair. I have fine hair, and was looking for something to give it body. This brush was too heavy, way too hot (even on the lower setting, and drying my hair out.
I get it with the acrylic nails. I did them for years, then switched over to gel. Both destroyed my nails. They're still not great.
Hope you are enjoying your new home❣❤🎉🎊
I couldn’t use the revlon brush either. Way too hot.
What are you using instead of the brush? Any tips? I have fine hair too and i need more volume
@@DailyDoseofGenAlpha thank you so much
so what low pH shampoo replaces the Oloplex?
Omg yesss Lights Lacquer is the absolute best!
What shampoo would you recommend instead of olaplex?
EDIT: My hair was not "dripping wet" when I used this tool, it was DAMP as instructed.
You’re not supposed to use it with wet hair lol it’s not a blow dryer
@@Allisonkayh_ If you read my reply above, I noted that my hair was not dripping wet, it was damp.....lol. When said wet hair, to me, that means not completely dry. 😂
@@kaci8611 yeah I did read that but it still shouldn’t be damp. Should be 80% dry given I don’t know your definition of damp but to me that’s still pretty wet.

Love your see how much your channel has grown this year. You put in the work and it’s paying off! Congrats! 🎈🎊🍾🎉
Hi Abbey ❤, Thank you so much for this video 📹 💗. I still have the Revlon One Step Hairdryer and Volumizer. But I'm using the Dyson Super Sonic Hairdryer and it's great that I can adjust the heat setting and air flow. Happy New Year 😘!
What do you use for shampoo that is better balanced? I use olaplex I’m very interested in what your using ! Please! I might try it !
Thanks for the video! My hair is as just as long as yours (colored treated, fine/medium and straight). What is your favorite shampoo and conditioner that you suggested? Keep the videos coming 😀
So, what shampoo are you using now?
Deodorant is to keep you from smelling and an antiperspirant is to keep you from sweating. That's why you still get wet with a deodorant only. Also the combo oil you now use on your hair is it not 100 percent natural oils? And if not what is used as a filler for the oils used?
I love that you share what products you have changed your mind about and stopped using. It's wonderful to hear you talk about what you've discovered works best for you.
Happy New Year!! I prefer Redken ABC over Olaplex.
Happy New Year 2022, Abbey!🌸🌸😊😊❤️❤️
Love the shirt you're wearing, beautiful colour! Compliments your eyes as well.
Is it okay to use the olaplex conditioner with a different shampoo? Does it still work as well?
I have to disagree on the switch from Curology. My curology formula is Tretinoin, azelaic acid, and niacinamide. I see no reason to pay more money for the same thing with agency, especially when a lot of derms suggest not using more than 3 actives at a time. Not to mention I just saw that Curology has a dark spot formula as well that can have hydroquinone in it, just like Agency but the Curology one is cheaper. Seems like a ploy to get older folks that are only interested to aging to pay more money for the same thing to me, which is really shady. At least that is my take.
@Melissa m agree well said. Happy New Year
Hydroquinone should be used in phases with time off. I'm not sure if Curology mentioned that. Try every other bottle.
Do you know the highest percentages of tretinoin and azelaic acid curology has to offer?
wheredo you kind these curology agency products?
@@Keaira_Johnson The highest percentage you can get from the pharmacy is 0.1%. Curology will actually allow you to go higher than that...but you have to build up to it.
Ok, I’m 50 and have acne around mouth and chin. I also have wrinkles I want to get rid of. Which should I use, Curology or the other one? Forgot the name.
What shampoo do you use now? I just started using olaplex because you talked about it and wanted to try and now I’m curious which you use now?
Following…
Olaplex was a savior when I had damage after highlights. But after 5 months my hair was sooo flat. Not even a nice straight hair. 😒
@@arte7sol ugh! Really? What do you use now?
Certain holistic salons don't use drills or water and only use disposable tools. It's more expensive but so much safer for your health!
