    Basically Sims that contain licences Road Cars and mechanics that appeal to a wider audience then also release on console
    are the only way we can trap people into proper race driving with REAL RACE CARS ! - like MX5s Formula Ford , Radical SR3 , F2 , F3 and grow REAL !! simracing
    BTW GT3 are not real race cars (unless being used in a multi class endurance race ) - thanks :)

    Project Cars 2 was huge for more casual sim racers. It actually looked like a game and not your old windows XP application like many other sims ( hello AC, Iracing)
    It also had a lot of gameplay elements like one would expect.
    Assetto Corsa EVO are without a doubt looking at the casual playerbase a lot more now and I think its a great recipe as long as we keep the simulation factor!

    I've raced sims since the NASCAR Racing days..!! Also, owned and drove real race cars..!! I was a pioneer early on at integrating simulations with real life race cars..!! Specifically, chassis setups and track seat time..!! Project Cars 2 stands out to me as the first sim to include just about everything in one package..!! With tons of tracks and cars, the completeness is insane..!! From chassis/tire physics to seasonal weather and precipitation physics, it does everything very well..!! It also set the graphical standard to judge all others against, not to mention, a fantastic experience in VR..!!

    Hopefully ACE will have a good gamepad implementation like both PC2 and especially GT7 have. Then it will have a much bigger mainstream appeal which means more funding for lovely Kunos and a growing popularity of sim racing in general and more people switching to racing wheels which in turn will lead to more enjoyable wheel experiences in more racing games and maybe even to a growing number of decent racing games. It’s optimistic but I share your opinion Mr. Muscle. Btw: I share a lot of your views you expressed in your recent videos, your explaining is great and I think you have a lot of empathy. Sim racing entertainment has come a long way since its early beginnings, with a variety of games and platforms available to suit different preferences and playstyles. Some sim racers still enjoy the hardcore, simulation-focused experiences offered by games like Race 07 or GTR2, while others prefer the more accessible and arcade-style gameplay found in titles like Need for Speed.
    However, there is a new generation of sim racers who are just discovering the joys of virtual racing, and companies like EVO are here to help introduce them to the world of sim racing. EVO, in particular, is focused on providing a fun and engaging experience for newcomers, while still offering the depth and realism that veteran sim racers have come to expect.
    Gran Turismo is another influential force in the world of sim racing, and for many players, it was their gateway into the world of virtual racing. The series' combination of accessible gameplay, stunning graphics, and realistic physics has won over millions of fans around the world, and it's easy to see why. Gran Turismo has played a huge role in bringing sim racing to the mainstream, and its influence can still be felt today.
    But no matter how you got into sim racing, one thing is clear: the hobby is continuing to evolve and grow. With the rise of esports and virtual racing leagues, as well as the development of new technologies like virtual reality and motion simulators, there has never been a better time to be a sim racer.
    At the end of the day, what matters most is that we all share a passion for sim racing and the sense of community that comes with it. Whether you're a hardcore sim racer or a newcomer just discovering the hobby, there is a place for you in the world of virtual racing. So, let's embrace the evolution of sim racing entertainment, and continue to share our love of the hobby with others.
    In conclusion, sim racing entertainment has evolved over the years, and new generations are being introduced to the hobby through platforms like EvVO and games like Gran Turismo. Regardless of how you got into sim racing, what matters is the passion and community that comes with it. Embrace the evolution of sim racing, and continue to share your love for the hobby with others.

    Largely agreed, with the caveat that my opinion could change if Sony decided to bring Gran Turismo to pc. Still actually pretty surprised they haven’t. Additionally, wheel base devs need to get that console integration lined up before launch to capitalize on some of the opportunities there in general/with Evo. For me it was Forza 3 originally that got me buying a cheap MS 360 wheel. Then after selling it for college/life, it was GT7 that motivated me to buy again, and now I’ve got a 2k rig sitting in the corner 3 years later that hasn’t touched a console in 2 of those years.

      GT7 is decent. It's amazing in VR. However, since jumping into AC again, this time in VR, I haven't touched it. The driving experience in AC blows GT7 clean out of the water. With the CSP, it can actually look on par, and sometimes better, in a VR (specifically the PSVR2) headset than GT7 does. If Evo gets the open world right, what does GT have left for it other than just being a detailed car porn simulator? the "real driving simulator" my arse.

      @@steve_ire321in vr specially in the cockpit view gt7 destroys ac even with pure and csp. You have way more detailed interiors in gt7, and i play on setup on pc with 7900 xtx gpu.
      Ac can look good and some time come close to gt7, but its a mixed bag as of the quality of the content, majority of car mods are lower quality. Ac is starting to show its age.
      I do think ac evo has big shot to look better than gt7 being. New game, new engine, and is on better hardware.
      As huge gt fan i still have to admit ac evo will be better in almost every way.

I agree with your assessment, and think the main reason PC2 gets a lot of "hate" from both sides is it has hardcore sim elements, but the presentation is more like a traditional video game even in terms of graphics for the time. It literally is a "sim cade" even if you hate that term - lol. The physics are questionable on both wheel and controller in 2025, but they were fine for the era, and managed to bridge the gap between hardcore simmers and casual racing fans which isn't as easy as people think.

But I think (hand on heart) that is the big appeal of your Channel, GM. As you arguably think like the best parts of all the Sim Racing Games... a little bit of this (eg:- road cars)... a little bit of that (er:- race cars)... and just a little bit RADICAL!!!, hahaha (I mean in the best possible way ; )))

    AC EVO also has the expectation to generate hundreds of thousands of dollars in turnover within the Nuremberg ring money pit. I believe all the shops you can drive by in that huge map have the opportunity to make them self's available for contact and bookings, whether that's accommodation, Dining, car hire, track taxis etc. It'll be more than just a sim-cade. I'm hoping the commercial side won't interfere too much while cruising the landscape.
    Love your work.

    AC EVO should really have mods on console. Console is a HUGE market, and games like Skyrim, Fallout 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 all offer this feature.
    Assuming AC EVO does have strong modding support it'd be short sighted not to include it for the console version of the game.

    Unanswered question... What is your hope and dreams for sim racing (/hardcore sim racing)? A lot more players and challenge? Developers invest and making better and better sims? (I hope for that because I play offline only). If the genre does explode and become huge, could it also ruin "it"? Just wondering thoughts.
    Original AC is why I build my 'sim rig' (basic, but still feels good), and why I love VR racing too (even though AC VR is not the best or easiest). I love trying a variety of cars and challenges driving them, not into online at all... I want realism and feel... hoping that ACE delivers all of that. I've been playing AC since early access and understand it's going to be a long road ... but that's okay, I'm in for the drive.
    Happy driving all. Looking forward to seeing what ACE brings. Fingers tightly crossed 2 days before ea release.

    If I won't remember wrong, the PC2 had the Live Track feature as the first one of any other title. And snow. And even in real---time if you wanted for example from the Green Hell (the weather). And that was a huge step progress in the simulator scene.

    I just want to point out that I exist to be wrong. But I am calling it now, the cars we are getting are gonna be models from AC1 like the Miata cup. I'm so jaded by the gaming industry lately that I will not buy into hype until it's in hands. But I remain hopeful

    • @GamerMuscleVideos
      @GamerMuscleVideos  17 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      They will have likely used the original models as part of reference but then built on them , Kunos have always put a ton of work and detail into there games they are still quite a "small" company on the grand scheme of things and also have healthy finances from both AC and ACC so are not under the same sort of publisher pressures as some other companies.
      EVO is a new graphics engine so they would have had to have re-done a bunch of stuff regardless for shaders , audio , whole host of parameters.

    • @I_Punch_Demons
      @I_Punch_Demons 17 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @GamerMuscleVideos AC1 was definitely a love letter to racing. I think the same will be true for Evo and you are right they are a smaller company. ACC was also amazing. But, personally, I'm being cautious, but optimistic. I am getting early access and I have no doubt I will enjoy myself. Thanks for the reply!

    • @GamerMuscleVideos
      @GamerMuscleVideos  วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      No AC Evo is a full on simulator , project cars 2 was designed as a full on simulator you can argue over how much a game then manages that and to what degree.
      But both AC Evo and Project cars 2 , manage to appeal to a wider audience due to the licences and the relase on console as well as supporting game pads / having more "game" Structure and aspects to them that make them acessable to wider less mega nurd "simracer"

    So PC2 was kind off what GT4 was in the 2000s?

    • @GamerMuscleVideos
      @GamerMuscleVideos  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      PC2 was basically like a standard PC sim but also released on console the developer was trying to make as realistic simulator as possible ( like kunos is with Evo)
      nice graphics , good range of content but a focus around more realistic driving.
      I think GT is kinda similar but it has a different heritage and culture behind it GT sort of comes from more of a Console approach to simulation and more of a Japanese game design culture and Japanese car culture.
      Its really interesting the flavour of these games I think , how MSR and Project Gotham end up being a sort of in-between of the GT style and presentation and then you have the forza 1234 games that again end up being there own thing that's almost like an Americanisation of GT mixed with the PGR feel.
      You have lots of the same people working between these different games so you will then get those artistic influences and design aspects blending across games.
