This is very helpful and less stress. excited to take this route next month. just wanna ask how much was the 911 bus fare at berth 12 going to woodlands train CIQ?
Hi thank you for such an informative video. I am happy to be able to share this experience with you and your beautiful family. My favourite part of the video was when you cleared the customs first and your wife and son were nowhere in sight. But just as you approached the train they showed up behind you just having cleared customs. Truly exhilarating. I was worried they would miss the train. Also enjoyed the part where the young Chinese lady did the dougie around the 4min mark. Overall 10/10 video! Thanks once again!
I’m not aware of such restrictions, but do be mindful that the train is quite narrow and limited space, only the front seats have extra space for luggage and strollers. Hope this helps :)
Hi, thanks for sharing this journey. May i ask, once alighted the train at JB Central, is it far to get to bus 160 and bus 170 which will be transit to Larkin bus terminal? Thanks
yes you definitely can! Do note you have to board the bus from the back door instead of the front. Just give the bus drive a wave and he will open the back door for you.
Hello, thanks for the video but i have quesitons. I already bought it from the app, should i print the ticket or i can just show the pdf from my phone? and can i go back and forth from jb to sg 2days even i am not singaporean or malaysian? Thanks in advance
@@szenee yes both side, I suggest you key in CIQ and head to the right side where the bus terminal is located. Driver prefer to pickup from there to beat the traffic jam from city square mall side. Hope this helps.
Don’t have to go office to register to get tickets, once you have purchase the ticket, just go second floor of train station to queue to get into the immigration. The train staff will scan your passport to verify your ticket
Hi, for kid under 4 years old need to register at counter. When we go thru the immigration with kids, will they check ticket and passport? Or passport only?
Hi vivian, to register your kid at the counter, they would ask for your adult ticket (physical or e-copy) and your kid's passport. When passing thru the immigration, the train staff would check the kid's physical ticket.
If u come from JB, u will pass the Jb immigration first, then train, then Singapore immigration. You can check out my other video for JB to Singapore, thanks.
Hi sir thanks for this video really helpful. I want to clarify if From SG to MY. The immigration is on woodlands only for clearing Then Board the train , Uppn Arriving at JB no need for another immig. Ryt?
@keano9100 It's different immigration checkpoint from bus passengers. It's specific for train passengers only, hence less waiting time as compared to taking a bus.

Hi.. really detail and informative video.. May i ask you few question.. We are from Indonesia and plan to visit singapore for several days. One of our itinerary is half day visit to Johor Bahru (depart from SG to JB in the morning and go back to SG in the afternoon). 1. Is it possible? 2. How about health declare (ICA Singapore Arrival Card) and (Malaysia Arrival card) for us foreigners/non-Singaporean. (We are completed 3x vaccine btw) We saw that SG arrival card need to submit 3 days prior to visit SG. (In our condition, do we need submit SGAC before even go to JB and back to SG again?) 3. Any tips for us? Thanks in advance.
Hi Iswan, thank you for your comment. Regards to your question: (1) Yes it is possible if you don't find it too rush or you just want to travel nearby in JB. (2) I did a quick search, yes you will need to submit your SG arrival card 3 days prior to the date of arrival in Singapore, i would think that you need to submit again once you want to come back from JB on the day itself, since the 3 days prior cannot be met, it's best you check with the Singapore immigration on your 1st day of arrival in Singapore. :)

I just have a question, If I from Malaysia (foreigner working in malaysia) and I have already booked a plane ticket from MY TO SG, how can I book a train from Singapore to Malaysia? Tried the KTM website but it won't show me the sched. (plan to go back in Malaysia on August 10). Am I able to book a train while in SG going back to Malaysia? Thank you!
Hi animelover, yes there are 2 ways which you can booked your train ticket from SG to MY, 1. Go to the woodlands train station in Singapore (in my video), 2. book on KTM website. To save yourself from all the trouble, KTM website is the preferred choice. Reason you are not able to book for 10 August is because KTM website usually only release schedule up to 3 weeks in advance. There is no fixed date as to when they will release the ticket as well, hence the only way is to keep checking the website everyday.
