Thanks for this video. As u can see, Malaysian govt puts public transport very low on their list of priorities. Manja card is promoted but can only be used for Causeway Link buses not other companies 😆There are no clear signs to the bus stop, finding it is like a maze and there are only 2 bus services going to the biggest and newest mall in the city! Simple fact is most malaysians have 2 or more cars in one family so hardly anyone uses the public transport in JB except for foreign workers and day trippers from Singapore😃
Thanks for the video. The bus stop so troublesome. Think will continue take grab there. Only RM10 from custom or city square. Not much savings from the bus
I took this same bus with the same lady driver to mid valley southkey on 2 Sept. The driver was quite friendly, she even shared that I can take her bus at 1.30pm, 3.30pm, 5.30pm or 7.30pm if I wish to take her return bus. However I took the bus at 4.30pm with another malay driver - same route, same cost. Based on my research on lugo app, T21 bus fare to Mid Valley was RM1.50 but I was quoted double at RM3.00. Oh well, as long as I arrive and return safely, I can't complain much. Till now, I still can't figure out why the bus has both number on it - T21 & 123.
Yes that’s right. We can’t do anything about the fare difference. I just hope they install the Manjalink reader then I can use Manjalink to pay. 123 is by city bus whereas T21 is new number by myBAS (own bus government). I think because they have same route. So they merge the number in same bus 😂
Excuse me can I ask a question because I am going to johor in a few day time so at 2:17 is city bus in operation I check the website but is no longer available and how do you know the bus number when that bus model doesn't have a electronic sign and how you know that bus is ok to board
From what I rmb, there used to have a bus that stops directly at the main entrance of mid valley pre-covid. MV01 or smth. Currently the walking route’s a little mafan 😂
Hi. Thanks for your comment. Yes if 4 person then worth it to take grab. Buttttt.. I think this bus fare is too expensive which is RM 3/person for such a short ride. And I check on LUGO app it’s only RM 1.5/person.
@@mayastoriessg the bus u board is run by city bus so you won't be able to use causeway link manja card. By the way RM3 is expensive as the distance is shorter than toppen/aeon Tebrau mall yet it charge more expensive
Thank you for the nice and informative vlog on bus services for JB Midvalley Southkey Mall👍. But the bus service back to JB Sentral can be irregular (especially rainy day). Wonder how long have you been waited for the bus back to JB Sentral?
Hi. Thanks for your comment. That’s right. I heard sometimes bus drivers didn’t go to midvalley to pickup passengers. Luckily that time I only waited for 5 mins 😂
Hello! Any idea if the bus is operating on weekday too? saw ppl comment might need wait 30-45 mins on weekend. will the frequency become worst if on weekday?
Hi yes, press the bell so that it will stop. Do this in case you know/can locate where MidValley is. However, in case you don’t really know where exactly MidValley is (means you don’t know when exactly to press the bell - like myself 😝) best is to ask the driver when you purchase/pay the bus fare/ticket to tell you when he/she has arrived at MidValley. He/she will then shout when reached at destination.
Malaysia side all can pay by cash, don need buy manja card waste $ 🤭 Only SG take CW need manja @ queen street or jurong? The other company can pay cash S$4.80
Hi. Yes there are some bus going there like 227, 188 based on this web businterchange.net/johorbus/routes/routeinfo.php?service=227 And for the bus stop return to jb sentral, you can check this link www.springtomorrow.com/how-to-get-to-aeon-tebrau-city-by-bus/ I suggest you to have a high skill on road crossing because you have to cross the highway to get to the bus stop return to jb Sentral. Good luck 😬 Note: that is around 2019 condition. I don’t know now if there’s any updates on the bus stop condition there.
I went there two times b4 covid 19, and found nothing interesting there, the mall is very big with few shoppers and nothing new extraordinary attraction there.
I staying in Sepang about 300 km north of JB .. thanks for the video will go there one day .. you also shd show us what you have for lunch in the mall

It's interesting that the bus took a longer route. By car, it was just 5 mins to reach the mall.

If i'm not mistaken, the T21 is the new number and 123 is the old one..they would replace the number to T21 later on..
Went to this mall last month..I believe this is the most luxurious mall in jb...
Niceee
Is the bus always parked at the spot at 2:19 and not at a berth?
Hi @raymondeng2017 most of the times yes, always there
Very informative, nice video

Nice vlog to Midvalley Southkey JB Mall! 😂😍
Thank you 😊
Mid valley southkey bigger than all Singapore shopping malls (good for walking exercise)
Hahaha that’s right!
Is it bigger than harborfront Vivocity? If so, really can walk till drop.
@@starshine9836 ya bigger than VIVO and some more they have lots of levels and you can see lots of resting places.
Take Grab or taxi from CIQ

Hi!
Do we need to press the bell so that the bus will stop at the stop for alighting?
Or will it stop @ every stop automatically?
