1. Blood type O no Antigen:
your blood type is identified by antibodies and antigens in the blood.
Antibodies are proteins found in plasma.

While the antigen is a protein molecule found on the surface of red blood cells.

2. Blood Type Compatibility: O+ Can Be Given To O+, A+, B+, and AB+
Being an O+ donor makes the person the type of individual to hold being the most ideal red blood benefactor. Individuals with an O+ blood type can be red blood cell donors to blood types O+, A+, B+, and AB+.
3. Over 37% of the world’s population has an O+ blood type.
The O-positive blood type is the most common and incredibly important donor in maintaining an adequate blood supply. It is present in 1 out of 3 individuals. This means approximately 37.4% of the population has O-positive blood. However, not all of the ethnic groups share the same proportions of blood types. O positive blood type is about 37% in Caucasians, 47% in African American, 53% is Hispanic, and 39% in Asian.
4. O+ blood types have two O genes.
If you have this type of blood, that means that you have two O genes in your blood.
5. You get one gene from your mom and one from your dad.
If you are O+, you have an OO blood type. You got one O from your dad, and one O from your mom.
6. It is possible that both of the parents do not have O+ blood type, and their children have O+ type.
This is a really cool O+ blood type fact. So, it is entirely possible that you can have an O+ type even if your parents are A or B. How? That is because you inherit one gene from each of your parents and that O is shadowed by A or B
If your parents have AO and BO type, you can get have O+ blood type by having O’s from both of your parents. Isn’t that a cool fact?
7. O+ blood type has an Rh factor.
The Rh factor is what makes a blood type positive or negative. Rh factor is a protein that is found in your blood.
If you have that protein, your blood type will be positive, and if you don’t, your blood type will be negative.
8. Blood type O can only receive blood from fellow blood
People with a blood type O with a rhesus positive can receive good blood from other people who have a blood type O positive or negative. However, people who have a blood type O with Rhesus negative can only accept from the person who is also the blood type O negative.
9.Blood type O has a lower risk of heart disease
Compared to other blood types such as AB, A, and B, people with blood type O have a lower risk of coronary heart disease. In addition, blood type O has a lower risk of circulatory diseases and cognitive disorders.
10.Blood type O not prone to blood clotting
Low levels of protein in the blood type O become the own benefit of the owners of this blood type because it means, the risk of blood clotting is also smaller when compared to other blood types.
11 . Tendency Towards Higher Levels of Stomach Acids
Individuals with blood type O may be predisposed to certain medical conditions like ulcers. This can happen because of higher levels of stomach acids.

Did I just read that correctly ? I have ulcerative colitis and I had h pylori one time when I was 13. They thought it was just that, but once the h pylori was done I was still having issues, which led to my diagnosis of UC. So bizarre
