If you're going to fight bosses at end game on hardcore, you need to sit down multiple times and have hours of discussions about how the boss works, watch videos, discuss plans and roles, etc. You can't just go in there and do it. You can tell a lot of these people don't take their time seriously.

4:55 Not sure if it happened here but there's a problem with the Blizzard raid frames that can prevent you clicking on your intended target or mouse over healing it, you'll often end up healing the wrong person. It's happened to me in raids and BGs.
It's usually caused by moving the frames or when the raid frame profile updates automatically for a different group size e.g. a 5man group becomes a raid.

I usually have those bars a little bit to the left when showing the kick CD's so its not blocking my character. It was fixed since then.

That tank was a boss he knew what needed to be done and didn’t panic. That’s first reaction panic and roach out it’s how people lose 200hrs.

I remember having to 8 man Shaz back in vanilla because the rest of the raid died on pull and kept telling us to wipe it but we just kept going on rotation for about 45 min and killed it like a boss and not one of us died in that time either wish I had known how to record on fraps at the time haha

What impresses me the most about that AQ20 Raid is their DPS. 150-200. We pull that off in SoD allready. Good times ahead^^

Would've been cool to see Zack do these fights in vanilla but I know he started late. I did all raids in vanilla and later in classic and vanilla was absolutely wild cause nobody knew wtf they were doing outside of theorycrafting. I can't do hardcore cause I live in Alaska and it's just constant blizzards, occasional earthquakes, windstorms and yeah the power/internet/cell towers go out now and then.
Ketchikan and Juneau get heavy rainfall, they are on the bottom right portion of the state. I live in Anchorage, and have friends in Fairbanks- the two biggest cities and Fairbanks has it even worse as the weather is similar to Minnesota I guess. But yeah I've definitely missed raids in the past when I was playing regularly because the internet went out- usually I can just tether/hotspot to my cell but during blizzards even cell service is total crap.

I could never play Hardcore WoW. Just the thought of so many hours and so much loot lost forever because someone else failed to do their job in a dungeon or raid would be bad enough, but I know there's a solid chance of my own stupidity getting me killed well before then.
you should try it. it makes the game much more exciting. your actions matter. everything matters so much more because if it doesn't, then you lose it.

I didn't play WoW for 15 years and now started again in SoD (and I was never good at the game back then to begin with, like I never got into raiding for example). I would NEVER play in hardcore because in SoD I died probably a 100 times by now, every time I started to feel like I was doing fine I would go to a new location and suddenly I would feel like a child being bullied around, I would go crazy from constantly having to re-level.
Its definitely a niche mode only a small few have the game knowledge to overcome.(or guide others into overcoming)
The game just isn't designed with hardcore in mind on a fundamental level sadly.

The hunter pet in HC makes me so sad and at a pretty high level too. How does he not have macros. Literally 90% of playing hunter is setting up the right macros to control pet and do optimal dps. Pet isn't even attacking the target or nothing.
Not everyone knows about macros. The game doesn't do shit to tell you how to get them to work
@@JJJBunney001 it does appear that you are right but that's crazy specially in HC. I feel like watching a little tutorial on how to play the class is the bare minimum and in any good hunter tutorial they'll talk about pet macros and every time you log out you see the macro button it's not super hidden or anything. It's literally the biggest DPS increase for hunter ever. No piece of gear is ever gonna come close to the DPS of proper macros on hunter. I don't play HC but if I did I would leave group instantly if I saw Hunter's pet not attacking enemies for more than 3 seconds.
