I've been waiting for this. This is about to be my most listened album when it comes out on spotify. Everyone in a ten mile radius will become well acquainted whether they want to or not!
This might honestly be my favorite song ever, this feels like a musical eulogy for Madotsuki. I just wanted to let you know a few months after the fact that Between The Lines as a whole - but especially this song - was the last straw that got me to finally check out Yume Nikki and I am very glad I did :) The game offers a lot of room for interpretation and this album is a very nice embodiment of that.

Right on the money with that observation: jazz melodic playing, extended harmony, distinct musical sections. However, here prog was primarily used as a framework to tie ethereal dream-like classical tones together with messy, crunchy "real" composition. It's all very artsy, y'know. I _definitely_ know what I'm talking about and didn't just pull this all out of my ass to impress you or anything.

This sounds a bit like progressive rock (instrumentally at least), and I never knew just how well that would fit YN. Really really really good stuff
