    Love the 9 Case Study Commandments. Best session of Sunday School - I mean Portfolio School - I've ever attended. Thanks Payton!

    Really good stuff. Especially the testimonial template. Love it.
    If you release another, could u do the solo soloprenuer training. I think the two would go well together. That or starting from zero.

    Amazing work as usual. Applying logic and psychology to design principles is really important and often overlooked. KISS!

    Excellent information and guide Payton, just want to ask a short question regarding the point where you advised not to let website visitors jump to your client website by providing the website link, my question is will it be a good practice to host a copy of the already designed client website or a sample portfolio website on your own sub domain so that all the traffic re-directs or remain on your own website?

    Any little tips for a very first portfolio / personal website ? Meaning without any real project to showcase or client testimonials. Thanks again for the always amazing content.

    • @PaytonClarkSmith
      @PaytonClarkSmith  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Absolutely! The project in your portfolio don’t have to be real client projects, they just have to be projects that you have done so I always recommend just reworking random websites and using those in your portfolio! Just make sure to put some fine print somewhere that says that that project was just for Practice purposes and that you’re not affiliated with the client

    Clicking on Semrush for certification but it just leads to a catalog and cannot find certificate course. Do you have a direct link to the actual course we can get a certificate for?

    I'm somewhat confuse on the "TALK ABOUT FEATURES OR TOOLS"
    It was discussed in the very first place not to talk about it. But after showing your portfolio. I was like. Hmmmm MEH... Was about to be convince but yeah some costumers might do care about it. But how many percentage will care about it? For about 10 customers how many of them will care about it if they're more into benefits.

    • @PaytonClarkSmith
      @PaytonClarkSmith  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question. This is the reason I represented it with just a small icon. Not too much attention or text about it. Just simple details about the project that can easily be ignored if it’s not important to them

      @@PaytonClarkSmith Interesting....I'm somehow doubtful if the recruiting manager could have an idea about this. But still I'm a bit doubtful about this. Specially if the recruiting manager is knowledgeable about the technologie or tech stack I guess....

    If im totaly new, and dont have anything to show as my previous work, then what to do?

    • @PaytonClarkSmith
      @PaytonClarkSmith  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It doesn’t have to be work for real clients. You can still create work for your portfolio for practice and to build your portfolio! 👍🏻
