Two books I have and think you would like: Fermented Vegetables by Kirsten and Christopher Shockey and another one is Batch by Joel MacCharles and Dana Harrison. These two could provide content for a lot of TH-cam videos too👍👍

I would like a recommendation for a book that is all or at least mostly waterbath Canning information for a beginner. Also prefer recipes that don't use pectin.

Rosered homestead has a helpful tattler lid video. She used them and is checking them once a month to make sure they are staying sealed. So far so good.. thanks for the info, I have one of your recommended books 😉

You mention how they have all these great recipes but do all of these books have required times and pressures for everything being canned or cooked for the different size jars?
What about water-bath times for the different size jars?
Do they include times for larger jars like half and one gallon jars?

Does this magazine talk about steam counting because that’s what I like best I don’t not use water bath

No the books don’t have anything on dry canning. I’m guessing because dry canning is considered a rebel canning method 🤦🏻‍♀️. However, I am really considering it myself 🤷🏻‍♀️.

@@103Catherine check out "Rain Country"; she talks about taking dry goods and canning them using a brake bleeder.
The brake bleeder sucks out the air somehow and seals the lid.
