Carolyn Conn I personally would utilize as many senses as possible during the focused meditation. Your eyes may be open, or closed, and you may utilize the taste sene through any food choice. This may also be referred to as mindful eating.
For anyone that’s struggling with bad anxiety I highly recommend you keep watching these videos. First started getting anxiety attacks on November 2017 to the point to where I panicked so much I thought I wouldn’t make it home if I was driving at the time. But since August 2018 I’ve barely had any anxiety at all and that’s all become of this guy. I’ve seen therapists and you will learn way more from him then you can from anyone else because he’s been in your shoes before. Thank you 🙏🏽
I am training to be a mental health counselor and I have panic and anxiety disorder that I am still working on. It's my goal to help others with anxiety because I have personally experienced it.
celine morneau Just know since you’ve experienced what it’s like you are going to help so many people who are also struggling with it themselves! I wish you nothing but the best! Have a great night 😌
Best video on how an anxious person can meditate. I had never been able to meditate. It was very hard. I love ❤️ your meditation I can see how stress and stiff I am. Amazing 😉
Yes, great video! I could not agree with you more! Meditation is transformative and life-changing, and can be enormously helpful in reducing anxiety. Thank you for your insight!
Love these tips! Specailly the mantra meditation..The word heal already did something for me..And the colour meditation is great for visualisation..and i did really feel something change where the pain and fear are. Been doing focussing meditations in the morning when i'm walking with my dog, it really helps to focus on the birds and the wind..Awesome tips Dennis, Thank you! ❤️
Thanks again Dennis for making the meditation practice more accessible to everyone. However for mantra meditation why exhale out the words and not inhale in the words?
I have the following. Feel like somethings in my throat Muscle twitches Heavy/shortness of breathe Tingling legs, dizziness(like I feel like I'm not in my body? Super hard to explain) Along with dizziness, I feel like have a band around my head *I just got these symptoms like 2 weeks ago, I've gotten X-rays, echocardiogram, and Holter monitor. They said I might have acid reflux which is what's causing the throat feeling. I thought I was having a heart attack when I first got it about 3 weeks ago I've been scared of dying ever since. Please if anyone else has similar symptoms let me know! It would probably help me feel better and we could probably start a chain of people talking about their own symptoms
Julian's Journey I been going tru something similar... I been tested everything comes back normal but my mind does not understand that and l have health panic attacks where I can’t breathe and feel like my throat is closing. If you need to talk let me know.
I’ve gotten your program this week and am subscribed. I really enjoy your affirmation and meditation videos. My question is, do you have a suggestion for one in particular that will help me the most for my anxiety at work? I seem to have the most difficulty getting through the work day without trying to have a panic attack.
Thank you Dennis really enjoyed this video even after a short time practicing the colour meditation i could feel the difference and a calming effect.!This will be part of my daily routine from now on :)
Hi Dennis, am in help...6 months back I got severe panic attacks... It happened to me because I took marijuana....After one month later I came to know it's a panic attack by one of the phycatrist..Chest pain , trembling , fear of death , insomnia, heavy headache.. I faced everything.. I saw your videos and it helped me a alot to manage and heal myself. Now am doing good.... Got back to my regular work.. All my symptoms gone away...except the headache it comes on and off.. it's not going away.. It would be helpful if you reply to this.. thank you Dennis...
prakash balu Symptoms of Anxiety are a sign of traumatic memories being re-lived in the present, and repressed energy that hasn’t found an outlet. I would look up the other videos I have around symptoms of anxiety and trauma work to get a better idea.
Dennis - How can you do the FOCUS meditation with permanent anxiety tinnitus? I want to focus but how can I do this with a debilitating physical symptom.? Pls advise...
Andrew Wood I would begin with the mapping meditation to disconnect from labels and judgements towards specific symptoms first: th-cam.com/video/ICW0PK28vM4/w-d-xo.html

I know meditation is so important but I felt like it was always a struggle for me to do it like a battle. This makes a lot of sense will put it into practice. How much do you meditate per day
With my experience I do a meditation when I have food. So for example when I am eating, I take a piece of food and place it on my fork, I then centre myself around my breathing, in and out for 4 seconds. I then thank the universe for the food and think about the process the food has taken to get to me. If it is a vegetable then think about it’s growth from a seed, to then being freshly picked and so on. Finally place the food in your mouth, does it taste sour or sweet? What does the texture feel like and so on...
What if you don’t know why you got severe anxiety ? It happened within one week, never had that before only when I smoke weed twice before. I can’t find the reason I play it over and over and try to understand but it’s not there it has been over a 1
Consciously you most likely won’t know, until you begin meditation or other altered state work with someone. Best way is to locate where the emotional distress is located in the body and begin altering the images connected to the distress. NLP does a good job of this.
Sergei Rachmaninoff Absolutely, we believe we are the thoughts we think, words we say, actions we take, when in fact these are things we do and isn’t who we are deep down.

With the focus medication do we pick one of the 5 senses? Also how do we taste in the room or outside. It doesn't take much to confuse me.
