- Video recording, on a sunny Fall afternoon, Monday, October 28th, 2024.
At 50 m altitude, the wind was blowing at 10 Kph, with gusts of over 19 Kph, and the ground temperature was 16 degrees C (60 degrees F).
For a more responsive FPV behavior, I strongly recommend setting the DJI NEO Max Rates of Pitch & Roll to 830 degrees/sec, and the Yaw to 340 degrees/sec, while leaving the Sensitivities and Expo Rates at DJI's factory stock values.
The DJI NEO camera was set on Auto, 4K/30 FPS, 16:9 Aspect Ratio, Normal Color Mode, and EIS at Rocksteady - with no ND filter. The footage recording colors are natural - completely unedited.
I had a lot of fun flying the newly introduced DJI NEO and highly recommend it. It's a 135-gram, super agile, precise, smooth flyer with an excellent camera and a great way to learn FPV Acro flying.

Congratulations, you honor the beautiful skills of this drone that I have not seen elsewhere.👏👍
Thank you, my friend, Lu, for your good words. Indeed, setting the DJI Max Rates to achieve more responsive FPV flights was not reported yet on other YT channels
You're really getting good at FPV flying 👍
Thank you very much, Alan. The NEO is so versatile and fun to fly that I think it is the most incredible drone introduced by DJI.
Thanks for sharing
Thank you very much, Agostino, for your comment.
Nice job my friend 🙂
Thank you, Petr!
lovely views the neao is a capable drone for its size
Thank you, Johnny!
Nice flight, nice location. I’m still on stock rates, I will try yours on the weekend weather permitting.
Thanks, Nick. Initially, I set the Max Rates at 620, but then I tried the 830 and found it more responsive. For the Yaw, I increased it to 400 but then decided to set it to 340 degrees/sec.
Autumn flight over Hampstead's neighborhood.
Try slower max rate in order to controll movements more accurately
Thank you, Antonio. I already tried the slower max rates, but found that it was not responsive enough for roles and loops
