    In fact I live in Canada I can order an Omega spring from Benchmade but there's a for spring limit each year and the reason why I can order them straight to my door is because of Canadian laws it's quite hard for an individual to ship a Benchmade axis lock knife to Benchmade and back without getting stopped by Canadian border control

      OCD-4-EDC it’s been 3 months since you posted this video, how has the aftermarket omega springs been holding up on the bugout so far ? Do you notice any difference ? Is it worth to send $10 bucks on aftermarket springs or is it better to send it to Benchmade ?

    Very informational video. I also took my bugout apart and I had way more trouble getting mine back together lol. I ended up losing a screw because they are so tiny and I'm a big gorilla. Benchmade sent me a screw set no questions asked. I figured they would do the same if I needed a spring. Now I'm guessing that won't happen lol! Enjoyed the video🤘👊

    • @OCD4EDC
      @OCD4EDC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Benchmade's warranty has always been really great. Like you said, they will send screws and pocket clips no questions asked. That is why I was a little shocked when they would not send the springs. They wont sell them either, which I don't understand. If I wanted to copy the springs, i could buy any knife and pull the springs out to copy them. It's ridiculous!!! So far the new springs are great though.

    This is just weird. Thousands of people had no problems whatsoever in many years, never had. And others have to deal with broken springs after weeks. Must be some faulty spring batch "made in china" or something. Regarding sending spare parts, well Bechmade doesn't want people to fiddle with their knives themselves...
