In all reality, I had a bad run lol… I think I broke at least twice. But that’s not what mattered! I was just having fun on a football field with friends. 😎
Was the best damn drum corps performance I have ever seen! So jealous of you all. I would have absolutely loved to take part in something as special as this group.
Imagine the feeling at 7:22 just walking on the field hearing everything get quieter, and knowing this is what all that hard work was for. Seems like something I'd wanna do.
It's so overwhelmingly emotional to see such good fun being had on a football with family man this sums up an incredible experience in one vid! Good job Kyle
Thanks Boo brother, was so cool to see that drum to drum-would loved to have seen that in 88 when we had all those snares! Plus I loved your part after our tuba solo!
I probably had the most fun as a member in 2016, but as far as book goes... I can't decide! They were all pretty different and awesome in their own ways
@@KyleTsuchiya Eric is a boss, I literally saw him get hit by a car the day of finals in 95 and still marched! Thanks for posting this, really enjoyed watching it!
@@thomashelm6931 we had red drums back when I marched in 86-88. The drums we had for the alumni corps were the silver sparkle from 2021 and a brand new set of black drums, plus a few of the blue Rhythm IN Blue drums. They all had the red On2 wraps on them.
@@kaitiak1 It worked really well. I couldn't tell that there was any wrap on them and everything seemed to match up. And they sounded great! Again, congratulations to all! Heartwarming and emotional.
Hey Kyle, are you planning on watching the youth in music competition this coming weekend at Viking stadium? If you are you should watch Millard west our band is pretty dam good this year

I just like the part where you hit the drum really good 😅
@@kaleb8850 really well*
And we ALL enjoyed you and your friends showcasing 50 years worth of entertaining excellence (and then some!) 🤟😎

This is so cool to watch, just different generations of drummers coming together to celebrate the history they made

Honestly the most goated snare to ever march Bluecoats

Hey Kyle, quick question. In your opinion what was your favorite book/year? Kinetic Noise, Downside Up, or Jagged Line?

@@KyleTsuchiya did you ever post a picture of your ring?
Thanks Kyle! This is amazing! It helps that I can see me in most of this. Lol. Although I did have my self in Hey Jude. Oops.
Can't even tell you're marching on a broken foot! You're a boss!

What year/piece did the snare+tenors-as-snares feature reference?
87 and 88 autumn leaves drum solo
That was awesome, a joy to watch. Thanks for posting!
The best...i love BLUE COATS
Did Ben do the Flugel solo?
Yes!
Were the snares furnished? Red was kind of interesting but the retro style uniforms were spot on!
Red is a historical color for the corps, and it matched the red ramps that were in the show as well!
@@KyleTsuchiya The entire presentation was simply stunning! Kudos to all participants and organizers! I'd love to see more of it.

Sadly, Aaron didn't do the alumni corps. But I marched with him for a few years and he's a good friend mine!
