- A Southern California woman whose luggage went missing after an American Airlines flight into the Hollywood Burbank Airport says she later found her bag in a Hollywood homeless encampment. KTLA's Sandra Mitchell reports on June 18, 2024.

KTLA 5 News - Keeping Southern Californians informed since 1947.
You're telling me that we have to go through strict TSA security checks before we can board a flight, but a company such as American Airlines can just put our bags outside with our belongings in them when the flight is delayed, allowing anyone to walk by and claim them without any security check being done to make sure the bag goes to the correct owner? That is a huge security risk, as a person could come by and replace one of those bags with their own bags that could contain explosive devices. We can't leave our bags alone in any part of the airport.
Yeah but don't worry, the TSA are totally saving us. That small bottle of water you bought for $10 might have blown the plane up
You still have to go back through security to get it onto a plane
Happened in my carseat over the weekend...
it's like this in all airports unfortunately.
You dont know how the airport works but the bag goes thru xray. So by the time it gets to destination they know there is no bomb on it.
Leaving luggage in the open unrestricted areas and on the curbside of the airport terminal is outrageous. How many hundreds of passengers have been violated. This irresponsibility deserves a class action lawsuit.
It's like saying: come and get it!
Class Action lawsuits don't really change anything and the only people who are compensated well are the lawyers first and then the principal members of the class. The rest get a pittance and meanwhile no laws or policies are changed to actually improve the situation for everyone
@@SL-lz9jrWhat do you suggest instead?
@@SL-lz9jr any inconvenience like a lawsuit whether is helps in the long run or not is still a good way to give the airlines a hassle for their incompetence. Better to do something than nothing.
I hope she sues the crap out of them. What a low-rent airline.
You only get about $100 max if they lose your bag no matter how it goes missing. Read the fine print or be surprised.
@@onceuponatimeintoronto891 AA offered her $1700..She said it was worth $6K and hired an attorney. Does anyone actually watch these videos before commenting?
I feel like all airlines are crap
@@onceuponatimeintoronto891 The DOT says up to $3800. However, she may be able to get more than that by suing in this case because bags should not be on a curb that the general public can access from the street. It appears that this negligence is why her luggage was stolen.
I think she wants money not crap. What would she do with the crap anyway?
So, the airline lied boldly to her face and are disgusting, glad she posted! This is happening way too much,
Is not about the compension, it's about responsibility and trust. American Airline has lost all its trust that customers placed on them. They actually belittle the passenger, treating her like a beggar and thought a little compension would brush her away. What a shame.
That’s because the CEO thinks of customers this way.
people will still fly AA doesnt matter
American Airlines lost all trust already when their pilots decided to crash into WTC. you never know what they do next. unreliable company.
Little compensation won’t even cover the 6k worth of belongings that was in the luggage.
@@williambo5989 Weird logic
They clearly made a conscious choice to dump everyone's belongings at that location. Figuring they could shrug it off as lost. Here, have a free flight on us.🤬
Because the homeless bumbs go to the airport carousels start picking up the 🧳 luggage for them self
If I was homeless I would probably do the same
Those air tags are a game changer
Totally.
Well not really. They will tell you that your bag is stolen. Then what? If it sends you to an apartment complex you will not be able to tell which unit it is in. If it sends you to a house you will not have much luck getting the police involved. The game changer is not to have any thing valuable in checked lugguge.
@seaturtledog they ARE a game changer bc they help disprove the company's account of what happened and hold them accountable. Before, it was nearly impossible to prove their negligence.
Also, everything you pack has value, even if you don't include high dollar items. Whether its worth $100 or $10,000, they're responsible for securing it.
@@seaturtledog You sound like you do this often or gotten busted by them before, if only you gotten your facts right. Police will and can get involved and there are ways you can modify that will make the tag more accurate and undetectable.
@@shamioshi It can be reported either because it didn't reach her house. She will still discover no matter what after asking since they have pictures where those luggage being stored. But if it's like hard to break box then air tag will be way useful but luggage is good when its still being lost in the airport and its guarded by security.
Set outside the terminal? Wtf! You go through all that security and your personal item are basically given away.
I love watching Come Fly With me airport luggage check, the way the baggage handlers pronounce the designer names! Need a laugh! Cuz it happened to me, too.
And you pay good money for that kind of treatment!
The homeless didn't took them; airline employees did. They grabbed the luggages from the airport, went through them looking for valuables, dump it at some curb so it cannot be traced back to someone's home.
They didn't leave the luggages at the airport because if the luggages are not missing but valuables are, there will be internal investigation to find the thief. If the whole luggage is missing then "it's probably some thief from the outside that grabbed it from the belt / curb"
It could have been either scenario. As shown in the video, that airport has a habit of lining the luggage up on a curb that is outside the airport and on a street that the general public walks on. That means a homeless person could walk by and casually wheel a piece of luggage away.
Read my comment also because there is an independent company where if your bag is lost then airlines pay this company to deliver the bags to the passengers hotel/home.......About a year ago another passenger said they had an airtag and they contacted the airline and they were no help so the passenger went to the address the airtag said....There they found about 20 suitcases all dumped next to an apartment rubbish collection point and they worked out that the person paid to deliver lost luggage to your home/hotel was then taking them home and going thru everything and taking out valuables and dumping the rest of the stuff near her apartment rubbish point.......Homeless people walking by probably say all the free clothes there.
@@karenmbbaxterbet you they were black lol

It is so easy to pickup anyone’s baggage at any airport. They lost 2.8 million baggages in 2019. 2.8 million! Insane.
The PROBLEM is, EVERY airport in the US allows ANYONE to walk up to a carousel and pick up baggage. Be it belonging to you OR NOT. It is STRICTLY an honor system and we all know that not everyone has honor in their hearts! This is NOT right. Why can't there be security there manning properties from passengers. ONLY a matching ticket for the correct flight should be allowed to exit the baggage claim area with luggage. WHAT will it take to change this into law for EVERY airport?!
This wasn't that. At the carousel, the bags usually don't start coming out until you're already waiting for them. This was about misplaced luggage they said they would deliver to her and then a homeless person had it in Hollywood. It wasn't even in Burbank anymore. That's about 10 miles away.
@@mrxman581 NEVERTHELESS, I am speaking in GENERAL terms. Generally ANYONE can walk up to a carousel and grab ANY bag that s/he desires withOUT ANY consequences, is what happens. @@proudasiangirl576I always felt this way, when I took my first flight I was shook that things where so unsecured. That's what I always loved about las vegas airport, you need the luggage tag to match your ticket to leave, don't know if it's still that way.
It isn't hard to stop people who are clearly homeless from walking in
Luggage: TSA at the front end, help your self at the back end. Homeless individuals, thank you American Airlines!!!
And DEI folks be flying the plane just like Snoop Dog in that movie! (It accurately predicted the future of commercial flying in the US.
American Airlines treated me and my luggage like garbage 7 years ago and it was the last time I'll ever give them a dime. It's not a surprise they treat all customer bags like garbage too. Screw them.
Try Amtrak with a sleeper car. Your luggage stays with you the entire time.
the same thing happens with delta, southwest and other airlines. the entire hiring industry isn't getting the best out there. thanks to DEI.
When the airline takes your property under their care they give you a paper with a number that is also on the bag with your name. Years ago, when people claimed their bags, an agent would check your number against the tag on the bag at the exit door
Only passengers were allowed in the carousel area. They don't do this anymore. Somehow they just feel it's the passenger's problem. Some lawyers must have brainstormed that it wasn't necessary. If someone complaines just throw a few bucks at them. Ive observed even small children grabbing at bags larger than them in the way of adults waiting for bags. It's a big free for all. Stricter regulations need to be enforced. Automatic compensation for lost luggage. The more they have to pay out the better the service.
How about regulations to keep the bums out?
I’ve always been so confused why US airports have so many police officers but no airport staff standing there to check bags belong to each person like airports abroad
I remember a time when an employee checked your baggage claim ticket. No more. If you aren't standing around carousel when you get off plane to get your luggage, good luck to you!!!! It's sad.
It was never about terrorists obviously, it's about submission to tyrants.
Especially for a country that has experienced horrific terrorism in the past, this is concerning.
To put it in another way. We live in a police state where the police don't really protect "us".
Makes it easy to throw uncle dave in federal prison for an empty shell casing they found at the bottom of his suitcase.
This is why I’m extremely reluctant to check bags
$1700 is no where near enough
It's "nowhere" near enough.
My question is why do we even get a Baggage claim ticket to verify it is our bags. When They are not enforcing the rule.
Yep. I check bags all the time -- but I don't think I've had to actually present a baggage claim ticket since like the early 90's.
@@arkwill14 I just remembered that Bided Department Hired or appointed a Guy who went around stealing luggage out of Airports. Then wear the clothes. I biggest concern is always whether I will receive my luggage when I reach my final destination.
Not me cause i do carry on.
I traveled on a flight for the army and we were delayed mid-air because of weather. Missed my connecting flight and arrived late. Figured I would get my luggage the next day at worst, so I didn't worry. Turns out they sent it to a totally different airport an hundred miles away for some reason. My option was to pick it up there or wait for them to get it to my local airport which took several days. The measly compensation they offered wasn't worth the hassle I went through.
I do carry on whenever I can.
I always do carry-on. Just ensure you board the plane as soon as possible so overhead space will not fill up.
They’ll write up the worker that was supposed to deliver it and the execs will give themselves a raise. That’s how this will be dealt with. They won’t learn from it and try to prevent it from happening again
Seems like the courier they hired to deliver these baggage dumped them. That's my bet.

The airline didn’t care. There are ways to prevent this.
@@guyfaux5010 I've had great USPS mailmen/women, I dunno wtf are you on about, Karen!

Most likely that is what happened. Still, that does not mean American is off the hook as they are responsible for who they contract out with.

Europe does not allow the public in baggage claim! Close off carousels to the public and most bag thefts will stop.
This would seem to be an inside job.
OP please explain your first sentence. Are baggage claim areas in European airports different than in the US?
Wouldn't help in this case, when the airline is just leaving them on a public sidewalk where anyone can take it!
@@deekang6244 The lost luggage was at the airport public curbside based on one of the pictures and news report.
@@Damndrrtyapes Yes, baggage claim areas are different in Europe (and the rest of the world) than in the US. In the rest of the world, passengers pick up their baggage before leaving the secured area. A few US airports, like Dulles Airport in DC/VA, do have the baggage claim areas inside the secured areas.
I man the real story here is why the carrier was pretending the were delivering her bag... probably preparing to pin a not-at-home on her, and then claim she forfeited the luggage, so they can hide the loss.
Why is this story focusing on the homeless instead?
When I leave COSTCO there are always Two theft prevention agents at the exit to double check that everything in my shopping cart matches my sales receipt. Why the heck are airports not still staffing an exit to verify that the baggage you just pulled off the carousel matches your baggage claim receipt tags???
Then why dont you go FLY WITH COSTCO then? 🤣
@@Western_ENTi think you missed the point.
Because big corporations don't care about you, they care about their own profit margins.
Because your baggage aren't properties of the airports. The airports and airlines don't want to spend money that they deem unnecessary.
Airports has 1000s of passengers trying to exit at the same time, Costco has about 6 trying to exit at the same time.. the chaos, time won’t work
I remember when my brother told the check-in person, at the airlines, I want this suitcase going here and this suitcase to go here. She said we can't do that sir they are both going to the same place. My brother told her I don't know why not, you did it before.
That's an old Alan King joke.

So the news in Florida recently reported a woman finding her stolen bag in a airport worker’s house, now this, it begs the question as to what new law or system requirements these politicians or corporations wants to come up with in order to make money or violate our privacy even more. Extra airport tax?
Thank you for covering this, great journalism! Please keep updating on this story, how is AA going to respond?? I wish this woman every success and thank her for sharing her experience, this is insane.
It's a no-brainer! Airport workers are doing this!

They're called "Friendly Skies" for a reason.
And that reason is your "personal contributions" to American Airlines.
They are that desperate it's pathetic.
American Airlines need to shut down!!
Attorney should file as a class action lawsuit
Class action lawsuits hurt the individual.
Class action lawsuit she might get $10.00 if everyone file against the airlines....
oh we're all certain Los Angeles area police will be eager to get right on this and serve the community.
Golden rule is don't check anything highly valued. You're better off missing a flight or just shipping it with insurance.
Years ago the baggage area had security that checked the luggage tags against the tags on your boarding pass. I was surprised when for the first time in over a decade i check in my luggage and discovered that this was no longer the case..at MOST OF THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS. Then why even give me luggage claim tags?
It’s about airlines minimizing their cost. Most other countries at least put the luggage claim area behind security, not us. In this case though, it is mostly likely the courier the airline hired to deliver the luggages that dumped them. But that again comes back to low cost and lack of responsibility from the airlines.
Great job Lady! Good report!
That’s really fast for an airline to offer compensation. I expect she’s uncovered something huge and they’re trying to shut it up quickly. Do not accept the settlement. Take them to court.
Truly...if a terrorist wanted maximum damage/kills, they would do it in the baggage claim area...where multiple flights and passengers converge into an unruly and impatient crowd. Why isn't security in place for the whole airport? This isn't an airline issue...it's Homeland Security.
This type of crap shouldn't be happening especially in the US...No freakin excuses!!!
Right
Those bags are in their custody and they should be made to be liable for it
Boycott American Airlines for terrible service!!
nope they’ve always been good to me
I love American airlines
I've always had wonderful service from AA. Maybe it's a you problem
I don't really think it's a problem with AA, but rather with unsecured baggage claim areas.
They need to scan the bags when people are leaving and match them to their baggage claim tickets. Many years ago they did use to check peoples claim tickets against their luggage, but the airlines did away with that many years ago. They need to reimplement this system with scanners. The whole stolen, lost luggage thing has gotten out of hand!!
I always hated the excuse of big businesses "we are so big, so complex, and have so many people, we cant possibly be liable for everything". And they get away losing people's property, some to hugely detrimental effects to people's lives. I have to be responsible for little things the government wants from, costly taxes, and they will rain hell on me if i dont do something the expert me to. To combat the mismanagement of of customers' property, fine them severely. Over night, people lost property would be a thing of the past.
Corporations act so indifferent to people and treat their workers like numbers instead of humans, but OH when an outrageous event happens because of their policies they have no trouble pulling the 'we're only human and make mistakes' card 🙄
This is absolutely disgusting. 😫
"I don't put this on the homeless people" she says. While I do agree that AA is ultimately responsible for the way they handled the bags, it still doesn't mean anyone could just snag a bag from the airport. This is wrong on so many levels, our general public safety has gone downhill recently, and many factors come into play. Airport security, storage, surveillance. All those have to have failed if any bag is ended up in the hands of a homeless person. Baggage theft is a federal crime, these cases should be escalated to federal level.
The bag should have been delivered to her house.
Most likely the courier from airport to house just dumped it.
Possible porch pirate, but since there were more bags with hers it's more likely to be a bulk drop.
That’s what happens when people are just trying to survive, maybe deal with the root cause
If AA didn’t do it this way then the homeless would have not gotten to their luggage in the first place. It’s definitely AA fault at first. The homeless have nothing to lose they’re already at their lowest point and will steal to get what they need
The homeless person probably didn't get it at the airport and just found it dumped on the street somewhere with a lot of other baggage. There is another post explaining how this was most likely airline or airport employees. They went through the baggage first and took out valuables. Then, to avoid an investigation centering on the airport, they dumped them somewhere far from the airport knowing homeless people would take and scatter what's left which would deflect the blame from the employees. A "my bag is lost" complaint creates less immediate suspicion than a "somebody took 'x' out my luggage" complaint.
If you’re going to be so careless with your customers belongings , THEN WHY CHARGE SO MUCH FOR LUGGAGE FEE!
This is common to all carriers. Apparently no carriers have ANY idea how to track luggage. As a rule, if they tell you where they think the bags are, then it's safe to assume they are wrong AND lying.
*GOOD ON YOU for tracking, and fighting back! There were a few short years where they used Costco door guards for luggage, but why not anymore, I don’t know. I ALWAYS use AirTags in my stuff!*. Footnote: I grew up near Hollywood and Western. Moved out of LA 45 years ago. That area has become such a dump. 💩*
It may be just anecdotal but just last week at ATLANTA ATL airport Delta funneled arrivals and made sure the bag tags matched the travelers upon exit. It's the first time that's happened in Atlanta to me.
I remember when you had to show your ticket to pick up you luggage at the carousel. The area was closed off and a customer went through a checkpoint to leave with your checked luggage. Ticket and luggage tag issued by the airline had to match. Granted I am old, but not that old.
It’s been carry-ons only for me for decades now and I’m never going back to checking a bag.
Unfortunately we sometimes need to check bigger suitcases for longer trips.
@@Screwycummings Ship it ahead. Less hassle dealing with restrictions anyway.

The delivery service dumped the luggage never intended to be returned
This is the most likely scenario. Delivery service pilfers the luggage for high-end valuables, then dumps the rest in a homeless encampment. The vagrants get the scraps and the blame.
I disagree, the homeless know this is a spot they will hang out all day there until they see luggage’s left out like that, then they will hop on the metro train (for free) and head to their encampment, that’s what they’re doing
Looks like stealing luggage has become a cottage industry.
Anyone can walk in and take luggage from a carousel
That's why you get there before the bags from your flight start arriving.
Correct. Even "homeless people".
Once they deliver you to your destination, they could care less what happens. There's no profit.
But you got a lot of people watching one of them might be the owner, you risk going to jail.. in this case they leave it out in the open where no one is watching and the owners are not there.. it’s easier for them to get away with it
Not surprised at all. Went through this airport last year in October with my electric wheelchair. And they just left my electric wheelchair off in a corner, unmanned and unattended, (outside! Where anyone could grab it and take off) while we were standing there freaking out trying to find it. We kept asking people that work there where it was, and nobody knew what we were even talking about. It took us pulling up the AirTag on it to finally find it.
I see homeless roam LAX baggage claim. Wandering around with carts and garbage. No one even escorts them out. I always rush to get my luggage. lol
This happened at Burbank, which is an airport that is much easier to access than LAX.
This is pretty organized, she got an email that a third party delivered it
That's nuts. I fly out of SFO and while SF certainly has that problem in general, the airport is usually far enough away to deter wandering homeless. BART is still an option if they are determined
Yeah the fact that she received a delivered message makes me believe its an inside job
They roam the airport because they allowed to by the powers that be............
I was coming back to DIA from Indiana on AA, waited for my luggage for an hour, and it never came. Asking at the AA office they said it was all off the plane repeatedly after all the luggage was out. Finally, I asked for the claim form and the bag was right there in the office like I never asked anything to the exact same human being several times.
They said they paged us multiple times and shouted into the terminal (we were in front of their office the entire time) and said they were about "to throw it out" after 1...single...solitary...hour after the flight landed. Half a dozen people never heard a thing.
The flight crew was great but the baggage folks need a lot of help. I don't know if it is a morale problem, a pay problem, or what but I haven't flown on them since. What was in the bag was worth far more than any price difference between tickets over several years. Not that the stuff was expensive...just that their prices are in line with everyone else that has much better service.
Outrage! This is disgusting! AA has no concern over protecting property that is given to them to protect.
Never allow companies to name themselves after the country... it'll only makes the country look worse
Waiting til this hits the front page of national news tomorrow. This is a pretty huge scandal from AA
I heard that in the US they purposely take people's luggage to sell it. Someone had their airtag showing in some back rooms at the airport but the staff refused to look for it.

American Airlines needs to be held accountable and great job to this lady for exposing this!! I def will not be flying without airtags!!
This is why I always pack light and only take a carry on these days.
It's wonderful!!!! Get off the plane and get out.
100% someone working for the airline is up to this.
On the same day, my daughter was flying from Austin (stop over in Dallas) to Burbank and American Airlines cancelled her flight as well. She was able to get on a flight the next day, but to LAX instead of Burbank and she was told by the ticket agent that her luggage would be on the same flight as her new flight. My daughter asked the ticket agent if he was certain about her luggage being with her on her new flight and he assured her and told her that he already arranged for her luggage to be with her. When she arrived at LAX, her luggage did not appear, so she went to the baggage claim office and put in a lost luggage claim. They found it two days later at the Burbank airport and luckily they delivered it to where she was staying. After watching this story, I realized how lucky she was to get her suitcase with all of her belongings. Sadly, I'm sure a lot of people are having to deal with this nightmare.
It's foolish to think ticket agents have such power in the first place.. 🤣 They're agents/retailers, they don't work for the airports, come on, knock some sense out!
And, I think the biggest luck here is that your daughter ARRIVED and arrived SAFELY without a crash, isn't it? 🤣 People seem to FORGET the big things and start WHINING about little things these days, just to chime in a whinny meaningless conversation, geez.. There's REASONS flights got cancelled, mainly SAFETY reasons, and once it's not according to plans (changes happen), there would be chaos and confusions, everybody who ever works in a group or organization, even a small one, should know this already, left alone big systems like international airports..

It's very California full of thieves what does she expect would happen
That’s insane. It just goes to show the complete lack of respect American Airlines has for the traveling public. They will nickel and dime you for everything and yet your bags can show up at a homeless encampment. They need to go out of business!
Good for her that’s not right
Airlines should just stop handling luggage. Make people find their own way to transfer their belongings.
I just wish she would’ve told AA she had possession of $50K worth of items instead of $6k
Was at Burbank Airport last year to pick up an arriving passenger. Anyone can go to the baggage carousel area which is outside the terminal, and pick up luggage. There are no employees assigned to check baggage tags. If you are late, your bag just sits there.
American outsources the delivery process. The delivery services don’t care.
AA makes my blood boil when they spend 30 min berating us at the gate for the size of our carry-ons and constantly threaten to “gate check” all carry-on bags of those unlucky souls in the last boarding groups. “Ladies and gentlemen, this is a very full flight and overhead space is severely limited.” Then you board, and there’s tons of room up there.😡 Last time this happened, I realized it is a form of gaslighting. Like, “Shame on you peasants for having carry-ons” when it’s actually THEIR fault we feel the need to stuff everything in our carry-ons!!!
They say that every Time....maybe you shouldn't keep falling for it. This isn't AA fault. ALL airlines have their luggage out in public
In Europe, the luggage comes out inside the secure area where only travelers whom are screened, is allowed.
She let them have it. Offering her only $1700, I would have said my stuff was worth $10k.
Only when a company is penalized in the pocketbook will they stop doing nonsense like leaving luggage on the curb. 🤨
Airport Security: Please do not leave your luggage unattended.
Airlines: We will leave your luggage unattended for you.
I feel bad for this lady. AA ought to do an investigation into that "Carrier Company" or department that lost the luggage then lied about it.
This same garbage happens with Delta as well. They never control their luggage in baggage claim. Considering some of their employees were busted for smuggling, it’s not surprising
The ineptitude of the airlines is not even funny. They also sent my mom home without her luggage from lax this past week. They did delivered it the next day but it was the same airline. Also spirit airline will charge 158 dollars to check in one suitcase! It's not 50 pounds, but 40 lbs is what they use.

hope other passengers with the same situation can sue AA... more AA have to pay, more they will care.....
Burbank airport has literally no security when it comes to the baggage claim. The airport is built for a time when crime wasn’t taken lightly, like when people had integrity and morals. I fly to Burbank airport through southwest because it’s easier for my mom than having to go to LAX which is apparently challenging for her.
I haven’t had my flight canceled on me yet and now I am concerned to think that this could happen to me.
This isn’t just a problem for American Airlines, but should be for Burbank Airport as well.
And then falsely saying it's going to your house
That was insane😊
Staff selling it. And good on you girl get that money. 1700 get the hell out of here. I’m getting my shake down.
The people that handle your bags loading them on and off airplanes aren't staff of the airline. Usually they're a third party vendor (similar to Amazon delivery people just being some guy that rents a van and gets an Amazon branded safety vest).
@@daneshj4013 well, anyone whom they hire, even independent contractors, are considered WORKING for them, and they must take ALL the responsibilities in front of their own customers, before the contractors respond to them. Customers do NOT need to know CRAP who are their salary employees and who are contractors!
@@daneshj4013that makes it make even more sense. Easier to do and harder to crack
Wait till October when the new rules take place, they'll stop that crap when the new rules say the have to pay for stolen luggage and cancelled flights!
Sounds like an inside job. Baggage handler with sticky fingers and a side hustle?
It’s crazy how expensive it is to fly and you can’t even trust where your items are
Gee, AA thinks luggage is just a commodity for cash revenue, not personal belongings, something they have no liability for. Somehow, this will be the customer’s fault in their minds. “We’re sorry, we are experiencing heavier than usual luggage volume at this time”
I appreciate what she's doing!!
The airline/airport workers tossed it in a dumpster when done pilfering any contents of value. The homeless retrieved it from said dumpster. _What’d I win?!_
Chicken dinner.
Ridiculous. Baggage claim should be in a secure area and not near the airport exit where anyone can just walk in and walk out. Airports need to change this.
Oh no hon, you need to sue them. That is unacceptable.
She’s going to win no doubt about that, question is how much will she get they already offered her 1700$, does she have to prove she had $6k worth of stuff in her luggage?
