It is made of ABS so everyone should stay away from white unless they don't mind the yellowing over time. I reserved mine with the early bird promo for the discount but I will order the pink version. Great and concise review!
Attention Silent switch shopper. Shipping start from US$12 to US$55 depending where you are. Hades switch is not an option, Add-on for Hades is $40 a pop and only content 90 switches (good luck if you go for Flow100). The "affordable" flow lit 84 keyboard is now 69 + 12 + 40 =🦄$121 🦄 or for Flow lite 100 = 💕$171!!!💕
And that wasn't clear from the get go. I cancelled my pledge for the exact same reason. I was looking for the silent 100 and that to my country had crazy shipping plus unknown customs plus the extra for the sileent switches
@@PolarKodr I'm not saying that it doesn't look like a great keyboard. I'm just not willing to pay the price it eventually comes out to. Maybe if I didn't want the hades switches and the cost for shipping and customs didn't amount to what they do, I'd consider it still. But not under the current parameters.
@@PolarKodr I don't know if it helps but the logitech G915 is low profile and has a volume wheel. I have that at home and I'm really happy with it. They have a new one out that's quite expensive but thee older version is sold at a significant discount. For me the lofree ticked some othere boxes. it was more compact without losing the numpad and I wanted for travel and work so the silent switches were a requirement
I have a request. Can you expose Lofree on how it handles their potential customers right now? Lofree doesn't make Hades as a default. The Price goes above $130 + VAT that way. They also promote 90 switches but don't get the issue to sell a 100 keys keyboard with it.
I don't even want the hades switch and that is absurd. To not make it a default option and only sell 90 when they are selling the 100 key!? I was reading through comment on kickstarter and Lofree said you can just replace the commonly used switches. People with OCD would be going crazy with only 90 of their keys are silent.
I'm getting the specter switches since I think hades sound like a mushy membrane keyboard. But to not have the hades as default and only selling 90 switches when they offer the 100 key? That's just terrible practice. It doesn't bother me as I am not getting the hades but to some people, yes.
Which keyboard are you using at the moment and it's shown at the beginning of the video in the background? (Grey, black and orange keys) Can you share it?
It's my Luminkey65 built without foams and using aluminum plate The switches change every now and then so I don't have a permanent switch on it just yet hahaha
I've never personally used the original Lofree Flow But from the videos I've seen on this new Flow Lite, this new board has a few more quality of life changes compared to the original Flow With the main difference being the move to go for an ABS plastic case over the original Lofree Flow's aluminum chassis
@@aquarellstifte imo original flow is more premium and flow lite is slightly improved features but geared toward those on a budget which is why they downgraded materials.
I really don't understand Lofree! The previous Flow version also had a battery capacity of 2000mAh, while the Lite version has a longer battery capacity but does not increase the battery capacity.

The FAQ states when you order 90 switches you'll get 106 if you order a 100 key keyboard.
The grey looks beautiful!

Are Hades silent linear switches supported by the usual flow not flow lite?
