- This dog was trapped in a shipping container for eight days... Once she was rescued, she was holding on to a special surprise! 🐶
We spoke to Coast Guard Officer, Lucas from U.S. Coast Guard Heartland about how his team rescued Connie, and how Andrea from Forever Changed Animal Rescue discovered that Connie was pregnant!

8 days trapped with no water or food while pregnant wow.. That's a miracle..

That's only because...........Dogs ARE miracles.
And..........I'm glad I own or she owns............ME.
Heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time
Can't have been eight days, that container must have been opened at some time.
Like humans, dogs cannot survive without hydration for more than three days, maybe four if they are really tough.
After eight days she would have been dead or so seriously ill she'd have been beyond even the most skilled help.
I would like to thank the U.S. Coast Guard for rescuing Connie and
her adorable puppies!!
Just when you get tired of hearing bad and crazy news all day around the world, faith is restored in humanity - there are so many human angels taking care of others like our pup friends - heart-warming to know mama doggie and pups all did so well. Mama was a fierce survivor! Made my day!

What an amazing rescue, so many different organizations, and so many sweet hearted people involved. When she gave birth, I thought of my sweet Mickie. She had 7 Collie Puppies in May of 2023. I sat up with her all night long and comforted her during the birth of her very first and only litter of pups. Such a Blessed moment.
Poor sweet girl. Your karma banks are full to the brim. You will be so blessed!

It is a miracle as well as luck she had to be in good hands so she traveled to that place or if she had not got trapped in container she would be living on the street as well cute little puppies.
I remember following her story.Happy she and her puppies found great forever homes!

Sometimes we may question God's plan but here is another example of God's Grace. I imagine that poor girl living on the streets in a country far away, she probably wondered how she was gonna make it. And now here she is, pregnant and locked in a storage container, dark, hot and bouncing around for over a WEEK with no food or water.
And they heard her barking.
And they saved her.
And she found a safe home with God given people who will love her and her puppies for ever.
There absolutely IS a God and His was are Marvelous 🙏 🤲
That is called confirmation bias. Casually ignoring the millions of dogs dying on the streets, in shelters or in labs etc under horrific conditions. But this one dogs fits your story, so it must be true. Nice try.

Thank you to everyone involved with this rescue and especially to those men who initially made the effort to free her from the container and make sure she went to a rescue. So many would just have ignored the sounds of a trapped animal or just let her out and forgotten about her. Thank you for your kindness and effort.
Miracles and loving people do exist...what a beautiful mama and litter. Another animal rescue, another great story of love and finding a home for the misplaced.
