The garrison towers will not give you 2 units like in DAC , it gives you 2 free upkeep slots , it follows the same rules as all other free upkeep slots and since you cannot train anything in Dunheard you will get nothing out of it right away . Hopefully i am not being redundant . Also notice that it as no upkeep cost anymore .
That helmet you were talking about at 38:40 ish is the Sutton-Hoo helm, which was early Anglo-Saxon from the early 7th Century. The goggled and cheek plated style helms were not seen in Celtic Britain but were very common with the Germanic peoples of the day, and similar helms were in fairly common use even centuries later during the Danelaw/Viking age period by the Norse peoples.

I haven't seen any of your videos in a long time. i can't wait to watch this series to its end. BTW I loved your Easterlings of Rhun campaign. They're my personal favorite faction.
Welcome back Izzy! Was quite excited for this notification. Thought I'd share a few small tips to get this campaign going as someone who really enjoyed playing it. Freca can be upgraded to an elite unit eventually if you keep him alive and the uncle has an Herbalist in his retinue which IIRC is transferable and really helps with healing casualties so put it on your main general. Also, remember, low taxes give you a higher population which in turn give you a larger tax base. Plus, if you don't start growing towns early they will likely be done with all construction before they can be upgraded, creating a hard cap for their income. Really pays dividends to keep them low early on in the campaign in most cases. If you're short on gold, watch out for other factions who list their priorities as 'trade' like the Goblins did. They will usually pay thousands for the privilege so don't just give trade away!
P.P.S. Use your forts for free upkeep up to 4 units and don't forget that sacking/extermination adds something like a 40% temporary fear buff to public order so it can be a way to keep generals moving rather than on garrison duty.

Retraining and recruiting will save your ass quite a few times I guess. If I remember well, Dunland has some slingers, which are suprisingly cheap and quite cost effective.Looking forward to the next episode and good to have you back!

Now, on the campaign, you have a very good start and you expand your territory by gaining one and possibly two regions. With Barad Vin, you limit Enedwaith, since you are allied with them, something that will turn them to Gondor. Thus, with your northern border secured from the Goblins, you are now free to expand northwards, you can gain two more regions, Tharbad and Bhaille, between Barad Vin and Tharbad. I am also in favour of that watch tower close to the mountain overlooking to Isenrun, it's worthy to have it... On economic terms, you can start investing in money makers in your northern towns, which are relatively safe for now, in order to gain more income to sustain your armies that will put Rohan down. In Duneard, it's a good idea to get the military buildings there, as it is right now your front with Rohan and it will receive a lot of pressure. As usual, I write stories only for good factions, not evil ones, due to personal reasons... I'm very happy to have your videos back, as they are so fun to watch! Have a nice time.

An Izzy is never late - he arrives precisely when he means to. Since we last met, Ragnar has become 18 months old and grown to 13 kilos and started preschool. I'm back at work efter six months of parental leave - and kind of exhausted, albeit promoted. Frida, now four, on the other hand, is as energized as ever - much like the Dunlednings marching for war. I've missed you, Izzy.
Damn dude, time flies! Ragnar is gonna be the most fearsome kid in preschool! He could be a Dunlending chieftain no doubt, and Frida with all her energy no doubt a fierce shield maiden (though not of Rohan, obviously)

I'll give you creative freedom, though. EDIT: Or rather - Ragnar Vin for Barad Vin. If read as Swedish, it literally translates to "Ragnar Wine", which has a kind of Dunlending schwung to it.
I saw a vid the other day of how to use pikes on MTT - they stack two units on top of each other (no gaps between models). Give it a try, it helped me a lot. Good you're back my friend
