I noticed you only have the peep tied in around the peep itself, not served above or below. Is there a reason for that? it seems like it would tend to creep only tied like that. I enjoyed the video, ( like all you vids). I am left eye dominant but shoot right handed. I have tried a left bow but didn't like it so I shoot with my left eye closed. Keep up the good work!
Sometimes I'll tie it this way when I'm still making sure the peep height is correct. I've never really tied above or below the peeps unless I needed to use that to help the alignment. Never had one move. I use a constrictor knot and tighten it down really well, then mark the string to make sure it doesn't move.
I do. I'm having problems with the app I'm recording with and I need to change to a new one and start trying it out. I'm using the Rode Rec app. Any recommendations?
I've got a lav mic I'm using now. I tried the smartlav but ended up with a different one I liked a little better on sound. But it's the app for the recording of it on my phone that I'm fussing with now.
I have. I'm not sure what's going on. One recording I'll start it and the levels will be super high, the next they'll be where I set them, and then on another they'll be so low I can't hear them.
great presentation thanks
setting up my first bow and this I the thing that confuses me the most
thanks for the peep tips, mine is always moving up during the shot and I don't know why
Great tips! Thank you!
You're welcome, thank you for watching the video.

Need to fix your voice-volume vs intro outro music ;)

rcrchery try buying a cheap zoom h1, or get a smartlav from rode ☺️

rcrchery tried setting the levels manually?
