Oh catatonic glory days upon that gem rock! I can't hardly contain myself! Gosh dude! yes I have a collection. I am a rock hound that was in drilling and blasting for 12 yrs and did I ever find some nice additions like you have done and continue. Thanks a ton for showing that La La La stone. Man that is nice.

I love when others express the same level of appreciation for these beautiful gems. Thank you!
The colors and unique patterns can be mesmerizing, yes?!
I've had non-rock-hunting folks tell me that after viewing some of my videos, they haven't looked at rocks quite the same since.

Did you break them yourself? 0:59 where are you finding all these loose beautiful stones? every single loose rock, 1:23 🐦 bird effigy if you’re not familiar, look into portable rock art. The reason why they are all loose and polished and carved, despite you not being able to see the carving just yet… every single one ❤
It’s hard for me to see them, because it’s very far away from me… Look for the bird heads

Most of my finds are from Russian River (it's 110 miles long) and the creeks that feed it - when there is access. I live in Mendocino County, which has a stretch of ancient volcanic fields several miles long. This is prime conditions for Jasper to be present because it develops in and from volcanic ash deposits.
And yes! Effigy finds are often accidental - lol - I have a couple dozen or so. OH, here let me link you to a couple of shorts featuring effigies!
