I've only played Beat Saber once. I was at a robotics competition, and one of the teams was letting people play Beat Saber near their pit box. I gave it a try and was getting destroyed. It wasn't because I had bad rhythm - I'd been a part of my school band for 4 years, at that point, and the choir for 2 - no. It was because I was so tall, that the sensors could not calibrate properly without the team having to calibrate the headset whenever I wanted to play, and then recalibrate it when I was done. Beat Saber looks like fun, but it also looks really hard.

The first thing that came to mind when playing this level was 'Shadow the Hedgehog vibes go BRRRR!', then there was 'OH MY GOD THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!', and when I failed for the god-knows-how-many-times time, there was 'WHAT IN THE CRUSH 40 IS THIS THING?!'. Either way, absolute banger!
Given how the drummer has to lift their stick into the air and then put it back down to make one beat, but Beat Saber players can lift their controller into the air for one note and then put it back down the the next, and each note in the all the fast parts of the song correspond to drum beats, the drummer is swinging twice as fast as the Beat Saber player. This is because the drummer has half the time to make the swing since they have to make two swings in the time it takes the Beat Saber player to make 1. So they’re really playing like Expert+++++.
Dragonforce is by far my favorite band of all time. Never knew I'd love a band so much, and getting to see them live in Houston was an absolute blast. The opening bands were amazing and interactive, and Dragonforce blew up the venue. It was incredible, and I am so happy to see them staying on top of it.

What I really like about this song is that it really shows off everyone’s abilities from Marc’s high notes, Gee crushing the drums, Sam and Herman’s guitar playing and Alisha ripping through a kickass bass solo. So much skill in one video.

Given how the drummer has to lift their stick into the air and then put it back down to make one beat, but Beat Saber players can lift their controller into the air for one note and then put it back down the the next, and each note in the all the fast parts of the song correspond to drum beats, the drummer is swinging twice as fast as the Beat Saber player. This is because the drummer has half the time to make the swing since they have to make two swings in the time it takes the Beat Saber player to make 1. So they’re really playing like Expert+++++.

Dragonforce is by far my favorite band of all time. Never knew I'd love a band so much, and getting to see them live in Houston was an absolute blast. The opening bands were amazing and interactive, and Dragonforce blew up the venue. It was incredible, and I am so happy to see them staying on top of it.

This song is extreme, epic, power, speedy, and crazy 🤘
What I really like about this song is that it really shows off everyone’s abilities from Marc’s high notes, Gee crushing the drums, Sam and Herman’s guitar playing and Alisha ripping through a kickass bass solo. So much skill in one video.
Now THIS is more like it. The first two tracks were growers for me, not my favourite but still good but THIS wow it's a fucking banger. The bass and blistering speed of this song is class, Marc's vocals are point (video is also sick)
Love this video and I'm glad it's on Spotify, really wish this could have been included on the new album though.
