As a kid I was playing skyrim and listening to dragonforce and I thought how awesome it would be if there was a crossover. Now after all these years my vision has come to life.
In the same vein, I always imagined "Where Dragons Rule" as a song for Skyrim. Specifically: "In this land we have defended, from all things dark and cruel" - The adventures and events of the previous TES games. "Now we are defenseless in a land where dragons rule" - of course, the dragon crisis in Skyrim.

It's been just over 11 years since Skyrim first debuted, and bands are STILL writing songs about it. Goes to show you how much this game has transcended cultures of all kinds.

@@mr.xfinalform2299 In some ways Morrowind was best and in some ways Skyrim was. Morrowind was more complex and challenging. Skyrim was more fun to me though. It was the first Elder Scroll game where I found the interface did not get in the way. Oblivion had some great quests and dialog but the leveling system was so clunky. Daggerfall seemed great at the time but when I go back and play it now I find the procedurally generated content soulless. Arena was definitely not as good as I remembered when I tried it again recently.
I used to like Dragonforce, but didnt hear them for a while now, and youtube just recommended this gem. Thanks TH-cam, and salute to you, Dragonforce, you are still awesome!
Holy shit this is the greatest ode to Skyrim I have ever seen. The fact that Skyrim still has bands making songs in its honor shows just how transcendent it has become. Amazing video.

It's a lot easier to impress a child with a magic trick than a teenager, a date in a good restaurant is a lot more impressive for young adults than it is for people in their 40s, and likewise, metal is a lot more likely to be complimented by teens exposed to it not five years before than half century old headbangers. So when you hear a bunch of dinos complimenting a new band, you can think "ok these guys can awe folks that haven't been amazed in a long time".
As someone who is currently playing, hooked, and addicted to Skyrim, this song is by far going on my playlist as one of my favorites. Not only that I've always been a big fan of DragonForce so I really appreciate the content that you guys just made as it will no doubt go down in history as one of the best fan favorite songs of all time.

What an awesome time to be a DragonForce fan. This is really the best the band has ever been and I’ve been around since the early days. They are always improving everything. The lyrics, the themes, the attitude. You are gods of metal in my eyes.

I got saw them live by accident I was invited to concert they were opening. I always thought Helloween, Queensryche, Iced Earth, and Masterplan were sooooo corny. But I saw them up there having a lot of fun with how cheesy it was while also being very good at playing. I realize they’ve understood the gag and the fans were in on it. I really started to like them more and more.
I actually don't even know what Skyrim is, but after hearing this EPIC, wonderful song, I have to find out! Great song, the slower pace makes it even more important to appreciate the musicality of you all!
Been a dragonforce fan since Valley of the damned and although I’ve loved everyone who has been a part of it, Marc, Herman, Sam, Alicia and Gee are the perfect lineup for them 👌🏻 They’re so great!

I went to my first Dragonforce concert in 2009, haven’t stopped listening to them since!
I got saw them live by accident I was invited to concert they were opening. I always thought Helloween, Queensryche, Iced Earth, and Masterplan were sooooo corny. But I saw them up there having a lot of fun with how cheesy it was while also being very good at playing. I realize they’ve understood the gag and the fans were in on it. I really started to like them more and more.
They are just incredible I saw them in Barcelona this year 2022 and still crying listen to this song remember that day they are one of a kind.
I actually don't even know what Skyrim is, but after hearing this EPIC, wonderful song, I have to find out!
