Thanks for the reaction. Tarja and Marko reconciled together already in 2017, on the occasion when they sang together Ave Maria on Raskasta Joulua. Marko even apologized to Tarja. Marko said that after all the media hype and hassles died down, he realized he had lost the friend he wanted back.
Last year they got together again in Switzerland, when they sang Phantom of the Opera. They have been in touch ever since. They just finished a joint tour in South America and announced a new European tour. Marko also promised Tarja for singing Left on Mars with him that he would sing anything she asked with her in return. Neither Marko nor Tarja ruled out, but neither did they confirm the establishment of a joint project.
In Nightwish, Tarja and Marko appeared together in several duets on the albums Century Child and Once, for example in the songs: Ever Dream, Dead to the World, Planet Hell, Wish I had an Angel, Phantom of the Opera, The Siren, Romanticide, Feel for You. Some of these songs they sing at the End of an Era concert or the Summer Breeze Festival.
Their voices were always in wonderful harmony
Don't know about joint project but it would be nice if he appears in a song in next Tarja record
He sounded great in some of her songs they did live together

Beautiful song, and although the lyrics are about Marko's relationship with his wife, it suits just fine for his reunion with Tarja as well.
It was just meant to happen. Great duet. Hope they collaborate more.
Actually, Marko had confirmed in one of recent interviews that Left on Mars reflects their story with Tarja too. You can see it even in the way they sing it live and on the video, there's some parallels in the lyrics too. He started it as a dedication to his wife but then realised he wanted to write his story with Tarja into it too. Marko said that Tarja gave him back faith in himself and his music, so it's relatable. You can interpret lyrics both ways.
These two have always sounded so good together, and now their more mature voices sound even better.
So happy Marko & Tarja are touring together again, and btw, they made up back in 2017-18 christmas time during the Heavy Christmas tour. Marko did apologise and told her how sorry he was. Tuomas have not done that, and Tarja and Tuomas have not been talking to each other since 2005.
And like Tarja said: I will NEVER forget!
There was bad blood at one time. They did Rakasta joule 2016 or 17, reuniting for the first time. They made peace and have been good since

They have done some concerts too. Few years ago they did some RJ concerts (Heavy Christmas songs). Marco said that after his recovery he noticed that he had lost a friend...must correct it and do something together.

The first Nightwish song I ever heard, "Wish I Had An Angel", was Tarja and Marko singing together. Been a fan of both of them and of Nightwish ever since.

Tarja and Marko have become friends once again, time heals!!! They actually just ended a tour of South America together and did a few old NW songs such as "Dead to the World" and "Wish I had an Angel".
