The product served its purpose well and provided excellent fires throughout the evening. We were able to open the door and do s'mores, but I had to be careful because the handle was a bit hot on occasions. Additionally, I wish they had replaced some of the standard nuts with lock nuts in some places. We lost the door handle after just a couple of days of usage. Not a deal breaker, just a recommendation. I still give it 5 stars.

The cabin has a "lived in" look. When someone (whose home was always spotless and sterile looking) commented on our home not being neat as a pin, I informed them that we lived in our home, that it was not a showplace. Your place looks good to me! It is coming together bit by bit - good job, both of you!
I’m selling my house now and that’s exactly what I said. It’s lived in and looks like it. Yes, it’s clean and organized, but by no means immaculately clean. Unless you’re rich and can afford a full time maid, it’s just not going to work that way.

So much going on in this vid, I love it! Might not have been a bear at the Shepard’s hook. I’ve had hefty raccoons pull mine over like that. Ya’ll are getting into the fun part, imo. Once the basic construction is done, I love the fine tuning/decorating process. The stone hearth is beautiful! One of my favorite things about your journey is seeing how you change things up as you discover what works best for you. I’m so happy for the three of you. Your pipe should go 2 feet above the highest point on your roofing or you will get a downdraft in your cabin. Also you should tie down your piping very important. Protect your new flooring from that acid cleaner for sure LOL. God's blessings and love the fireplace and rock AWESOME!!!

A little clutter is necessary for progress. We recently had paint and things done in our duplex that we rent. We needed to move EVERYTHING to the center of each room and cover it with plastic. So we slept in the middle of the room for 3 days until the painting was finished. It's a very small price to pay for beautiful, fresh walls. Cierra, your decor is beautiful. Kyle is right, it needed a womans touch. Excellent progress dear ones. I'm happy Skeeter had a week to catch up with his brother. How many eggs do you get now? I can't wait until you show your first "real fire" in your beautiful wood stove. Sitting by that window with a hot cuppa, watching the snow falling with a nice fire in the stove. How romantic......❤

Great progress Kyle. It's not a mess, it's construction clutter. A Solar electric fence will help with the bears.
Steve Wallis has one that he puts around his camp site when he camps really remote. Seems to work good!
