Nice repair. By the sounds of it this unit may be back again for another issue when the tripod falls over the next time.
The Veo cameras are quality hardware but not many electronics survive a fall from 4m (I think that is roughly the height of the tripod).

How do you remove the cover to a Veo 3? It has this proprietary mount that I cannot get off. It doesnt appear to be threaded into the body.

What size TORX bit do I need for the screws?
If you mean the two screws on the outside you need a TPS10 torx plus, different from normal torx
