BA bcg and barrel were free so why not run them till they fail? This is obviously just a range toy(hints the frt-15). I don't keep track but thousands of rounds later and still running strong with no issues. 🤷
did you have any problems with your buffer not fully screwing into your law tactical? i have that same set up and the saber tube buffer doesn’t fully tighten
Yours seems to run just a little slower than mine, and closer to where I'd like mine to be. I've got basically the same buffer. Maybe it's just the difference in the gas.
@@mlgcustoms9987 A JP spring with H2 weight is what was in mine when I got it running, so I think you'll get what you're looking for. Mine belongs in one of my other lowers, so I'm ordering an H2 and an H3 buffer for a normal spring setup and maybe it'll slow down a hair for me.

Nice very nice I had to get rid of my rarebreed trigger freaking aft over stepping their bounds but I did get the rise armament 535 trigger that's an awesome trigger.
Now that has to be one of the best Gucci/Workhorse builds I've seen. All parts flow cohesively!! Best of both worlds in the fit and function department brother! Not only did he get some gucci parts. He didnt skimp out on the parts that mattered the most. Well done!!!

Brother! I have some news for you my friend. Spoke to an SLR rep earlier. He informed me in about 9 days time. They will be releasing new style recievers sets. He did mentioned that they will be non-ambi but a new style!!! If you had another build in mind. You might wanna hold off and see what they're gonna look like. Thought you might appreciate this intel!
That all depends on what handguard you're using and what suppressor you're using. They all have different diameters, some suppressors will fit partially inside the handguard, some will not. Decide on what parts you're going to use and get the measurements and go from there. If you don't want the suppressor to fit inside the handguard at all then I would say get a barrel that is 1 1/2" longer than the handguard. Could probably use one that is 1" longer than the handguard but will cutting it close.
@@mlgcustoms9987 I would use the same handguard as you. I think it is an Ion handguard. Isn't your barrel and Handguard the same length? Is that trigger still legal?
@@lesgarten yes hanguard is the 12.5 ion lite and barrel is same length. The Yankee Hill Machine Resonator 2 suppressor (shown in video) is a great 30 cal. can and very affordable. It fits nice and snug just inside the handguard.
@@lesgarten I use the magpul grips a lot cause I like the rubber grip texture but the Wilson grips are decent grips. They are based off of the BCM gunfighter grip and Wilson just put their own texture design on it. I think I prefer the original BCM gunfighter grip a little more but that's just personal preference.

Edit: barrel length is 12.5" and gas block is a SLR adjustable .750 with carbine length gas tube.

Yeah I was going to switch out for an H2 buffer to speed it up a little bit. Still making adjustments.

Yeah I had the same problem. I tightened it down good and then applied some heat to it and then tightened a bit more. It eventually seated ok.
