    i started working out 10 months ago, eating properly, no drinking alcohol and im starting to look alright but if im honest progress is a lot slower than i thought it would be, so when i watch this video and see the size of these people i have nothing but 110% respect for all of them, years and years and years of blood sweat and tears. i want to be the same sort of size as these guys one day but thats a fair few years away yet lol, but good motivation for now, thank you.

    I do hope people know that steroids don't automatically give you muscles. It's like a little push to help you get to the top of the mountain if you're halfway there. You still have to work out regardless of taking steroids or not. There's no way around it.

    People think that you can pop some steroids for breakfest, go into the gym, not even break a sweat and become the next Schwarzenegger. That's their problem with steroids. They don't know SHIT.
    I'm pro-steroids. If only footballers would use it maybe I'd watch a game now and then.

      @aarondeseve 10 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      not sure if you talking about american football or european, cuz if its american football that ur talking about then I hate to break it to you, but there ALL on steroids, atleast everyone except maybe the kickers and the unathletic quarterbacks that don't run. guys get an acl tear and coming back in less than a year better than ever? you think thats natural? please. i don't doubt there are a ton of steroids going around in soccer considering how much those guys get paid.

    • @Dorkus89Malorkus
      @Dorkus89Malorkus 10 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      ***** You've watched too many Hollywood movies. A modern professional athlete outclasses any warrior from past days in terms of physique. It's simple Chemistry really. You can only get an X amount of gains with any given diet.

    • @taekler
      @taekler 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      i love people who think they real special coz they on roids :D I TRAIN HARDER DAN ANYONE ELSE NOT ON ROIDS MYE IM GOOOOOOD. How about you just train longer coz you heal faster on roids. There are 100 of thousands of people who train just as hard as you do, everyday. It's normal, not special.

    • @Dorkus89Malorkus
      @Dorkus89Malorkus 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ***** That should be entirely up to each person to make. I used to play hockey - using steroids was never even an option for me. I didn't really need it.
      The thing with body building is that it's as much an art form as it is a sport. You're basically a sculptor and an athlete at the same time. Body building IS a competition of looks.
      Never confuse a body builder with people who go to the gym to "get ripped" so that they can go out drinking on Friday and get laid. It's much more than that. It's a lifestyle that you're 100 % dedicated to. It's not about looking good for the ladies.

    Okay. So anyone is welcome to comment on this. Why is steroids so frowned upon? I don't really see anything wrong with it.

    • @pomona2251
      @pomona2251 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It's frowned upon because it's against the rules. Therefore you're considered a "cheater" if you get caught. People don't bother researching the actual effects of steroids and assume it will kill you. Those who get ill from them usually abuse them without any professional advice.

    • @walsh9354
      @walsh9354 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      pomona2251 it's not against the rules. Bodybuilding doesnt test unless it's natural you get a polygraph regardless Mlb steroids were legal until the 90s. Wwe they're fine. Depends on the organization

    • @walsh9354
      @walsh9354 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      BoffoBuzz steroids are frowned upon in America. Fake news click bait. Many others need to justify why they're naturally small or out of shape. Insecurity issues & use being natural as an excuse to be fat pretty much. Welcome to America. Where the only good physiques exist bc of steroids. There's a pill for everything in America

    Do you seriously think the mainstream looks at bodybuilding as beauty? No, most people think it looks disgusting. It's not a beauty contest, bodybuilding is about showing off all the work you've put into the body, something only a bodybuilder or other hard working athletes would understand.

    I agree. I played sports my whole life, and Varsity in all through out High School, and would never think to use gear to get a competitive edge. However, this video is not about Hockey, or Football, or any other sport. In bodybuilding its a completely open playing field. And fact is majority of use are in people who don't even compete. In my eyes it comes down to jealousy...You wanna look that good, but afraid to jump that line. Figure out priorities or don't bother talking about it. My oppinion

    Good job and keep it up, stay away from the drugs. i have been bodybuilding for the past 30 plus years, also i have competed natural bodybuilding in the past. Luckily i never took any drugs to get big but regardless (use steroid or not) you have to give these guys credit for what they do. People don't just get muscular by sitting on their couch and bitching at others who are fake or not. If you are one of those who lift weights regularly you know how hard is to stay fit. I am not just talking about training, what i am talking about is diet. I would dare anyone how hard it is to eat the same food every day (for 1 month, 1 year, 5 years, 10 years or 30 years like me). Since i have been working out for so long, to me working out is nothing compared to dieting. I ate more eggs than chicken laid eggs. i ate more banana than the monkey. To give you an example, i can say for the past 20 plus years I never once skipped eating banana and eggs for breakfast, tuna and chicken for lunch and dinner (just to prepare and eat 4 to 5 meals day). It doesn't matter how you prepare the food, if you eat the same type of food every day for more than a month it will become tasteless. It's a shame that i no longer have a taste for egg, banana, chicken, tuna but i eat them for health reason. For those who just started working out, to give you an idea, there is no way, again no way for anyone to gain 10 lbs of pure muscle in a year, not even 5 lbs a pure muscle without steroids. I gained 20 lbs of pure muscle in 30 years of life time working out 2 hrs a day and 5 times week. I even workout on my vacation or business trips. If i combined all the sweat and put it into the pool, I could fill the Olympic size swimming pool (no pain no gain!). So you must keep working hard, eat healthy and if and all possible stay away from those harsh drugs. Please remember, you only have one body and you must take care of your body the best you can. Remember this, those who take steroids, they feel deep down in their heart, they are not worthy of man and to all those weekend warriors stop criticizing others.

    I am 16 and really started to care about my health, my body... i love working out but i just dont have weihts... i have the motivation the mind set. When ever i get the chance to hit the weights during or after school, i do it. For football is what worries me that i would be the smallest... just need weights...

    To the people that complain about " oh they can only get this big with steriods " they still put in more time and effort than any of you ever will. The steroids aren't what's making them big, its the hard work and endless hours in the gym. All the steroids do is keep them from dieing from over use and they're even pudding that limit so don't hate on them because they're doing something you'll never be able to do
