Court TV liking their own pinned comment 🤣🤦.
They got the verdict right, over zealous prosecution. Watched Lori Phillips testimony and she came across truthfully including on cross. The jury made the right call.
Yes they did. She absolutely came across as truthful and definitely was found not guilty and rightfully so.
I agree. And she helped her case on the witness stand.
The incompetence was so bad, that I started serious thinking it was a hoax, like another season of jury duty. Unfortunately it’s real and thank goodness for her attorney, but I wondering how many people are sitting behind bars right now based on this absolute embarrassment of law enforcement and DA. It’s bad enough to be falsely convicted, or not get a fair trial, but when I imagine getting convicted at the hands of these clowns, somehow that seems so much worse.
I think they got it right. I think it’s a horrible tragedy
I 100% agree with the verdict! Although the events the day of accident sound odd to some....anyone that has been on the receiving end of a verbally/physically abusive spouse unfortunately understands this all too well! I've left to go sleep in my car, I've had yo get a hotel room middle of the night, I've had to turn cameras on and off to avoid poking the bear. I get it. I'm actually happy for her!
The jury got this right.
Those prosecutors should be utterly ashamed of themselves for going after this woman. So glad she was found innocent.
Agreed!
I just dont understand why prosecutors went ahead with this. Its just so sad.
Family pressure, at least they had their day in court. Hope they can find grace
@@defcreator187
You sound like my dad, I love it lmao
Pressure from corrupt officials.
It is all about their own fame. Very disgusting and terrifying to think how innocent people could have their lives ruined.
Exactly
I feel in my gut that this was the right decision. I’m relieved for her. It was a terrible tragedy. Alcohol and cold weather are a dangerous combination that can create a perfect storm. He wouldn’t have realized he was getting into hypothermia.
It was an appalling decision to charge this lady. A few hours of interrogation and investigation would have given any halfwit all the information needed to see that this was a tragic accident, and nothing more. Putting her and the family of her husband through this charade was a totally unnecessary, and no doubt very painful for them to have to relive the whole sad episode. And all for an attempted ego boost for an over zealous prosecutor who has made himself look completely incapable.
Why did they even charge her to begin with? Was there any evidence that he was even hit by a vehicle? If not I don't see how they were even able to charge her. That's insane!
@@stacycobb4173 the only reason I can come up with, is possibly a prosecutor who could see the huge publicly that this case generated, and saw it as an opportunity to have his fifteen minutes of fame. Well that backfired spectacularly. Essentially he took a case to court that had no business being there and then did such a poor job that he just looked foolish. Thank goodness the jury made the decision they did and there wasn’t a miscarriage of justice, adding insult to injury. Hopefully all the people involved can now get on with their lives and begin the healing process. Very sad.
This is such a sad story. I am glad the burden of a murdercharge finally can be liftet off this womans shoulders❤
Good news! I'm sorry Laurie you went thru this!❤
thank you for not putting the VERDICT outcome in the title. that's the worst
😂
Not really.
This isn't Netflix.
She came off extremely credible & her reaction when she seen him was authentic! She never wavered her story & knew her case better than the Prosecutor! They shouldn't have even charged this woman!
Jury came to the correct verdict in my opinion. This trial was difficult to watch because I felt so badly for Ms. philips and I could see easily see this happening to anyone, given the exact wrong circumstances.
Correct. If there were no trial she may have lived forever under rumors and whispered half truths. Now she's exonerated. Time to find healing 🙏.
Great Job Jury!! Thank you for finding her not guilty.
Got it right! Now get to the truth prosecutors
They definitely got it right she is definitely innocent.
Thank you for not putting the verdict in the title!
I was happy. Law & Crime network always spoils. Glad I saw this video first.
Good job jury
I definitely think the jury got this verdict correct. Good job jury.
Im glad, she seemed very believable to me.
Yes!!! I'm so glad she was found not guilty!!! Now she can grieve for her husband in privacy... Praying for the family 🙏🙏🙏
Why would she grieve for him? She killed him in cold blood, the verdict is a disgrace.
@@pw191164please go troll somewhere else. We all can clearly tell you didn’t watch the trial or you wouldn’t be making absolutely ridiculous claims. Grow up! I’ve seen your other comments including the Maya trial and your thoughts on how this young girl and family were treated and you’re so upset the hospital was found liable.
Hope she's sober now. I've been sober and grateful for 26 years.
Paz y luz, all.
All her "Oh my God" during the video clips made me drink each time she said it.
They got this right!!!
Jury got this right❤❤❤
Jury got it right. The prosecution was one of the most inept I've ever seen.
Terrible prosecution not surprised found not guilty
Why the judge be looking like Sydney Powell’s dad 😂😂😂
I agree with the jury.
She still killed someone. Doesn't matter if it was an accident.
I'm not convinced. Her turning the cameras on and off at the exact times that would help her is suspicious. Her reaction to finding him was for the cameras. That's why she turned them back on. I don't think she ran him over on purpose. But I think she knew she hit him and left him there.
Im so glad that shes found Not Guilty. She showed such honesty. Unless shes an actress. She would be award winning.
Personally I think they got this one right. I hope Mark can rest in peace 🕊️
She sounded honest. Though sad circumstances.
Just watched this trial… so glad she was found NOT GUILTY!! You could clearly hear in her voice how distraught she was when she found her husband!
This should have never went to trial that's just the prosecutor trying to get a notch on his belt truly a waste of the taxpayers money
I agree, there wasn't enough evidence to convict her. But her story just doesn't make sense to me. She hit him but didn't know that he was laying in the snow?
The case never should have been brought...
Wonderful Judge. So kind
I knew it would be a not guilty verdict.
Disgusting verdict, the prosecutor was terrible and now this women walks away to probably kill someone else in a drunken rage.
Thank God, I dont think she thought she hurt him. It is a sad story. Condolences to everyone involved.
Well done, jury.
YES! THANK YOU 😊
What a wonderful judge 👏.
Wisconsin courtrooms should be ashamed because of Steven Avery. How can members of your court sleep at night
Jury got this right!
Jury definitely got it right.
Amen! Lori, go home!
Thank Goodness! This poor woman deserves to go home! ❤
Definitely got it right- its a sad tragedy
Thank God!
Thank God. The verdict was right in this case. This lady came across as totally honest.
Well done jury ❤
Got it right ❤
Yes, thank you.
Thank God ...right from the outset this lady was not guilty.
Oh wow......
I also think although tragic, the jury got it right.
Thank goodness
I knew it! She seemed so credible!
The didn’t even have enough evidence to prosecute, not guilty is righ!
Sad that anyone calls this the "right" verdict. A life loss.
I believe that the jury got the verdict right, this trial should not have made it this far. I am so sorry for the victims family and i hope that in time they will be able to come together and grieve together. RIP
Yes jury!
I trust comments to this video... This was the right Verdict
Good job jury !
Vengeance is mine saith the lord she was judged by a jury but God's eyes are watching
Correct verdict.
So how did his body sustain all those injuries? Im confused. I didnt follow very close. Watching eye drop, maya, charlie adelson trials
They did find one hand mark on the side of the truck in the Road spray because the truck had not been washed I think he grabbed for the side of the truck by the gas cap it said and probably got knocked backward and the one tire may have hit him or the front I don't know but I think she's innocent. Three broken ribs
They got it right! Wow!
NO NO NO so wrong. Lets see what she gets in the estate of her dead husband. Just married recently and I bet she was the only person in his will.
I hope this lady knows that she got off by a miracle... maybe it will show her that alcohol is not a good thing...
WONDERING WHY THIS EVEN WENT TO TRIAL,,,
not surprised at all for the
NOT GUILTY verdict...
What a waste of time&$$$,,,all
B'cuz of over
Zealous prosecutors *
she be found quilty of involuntary manslaughter? If I was drinking and accidently hit someone I would be charged with something.
I'm glad about the verdict. It definitely was a hard case, but I didn't think it was intentional on her part and I do hope both families can heal.
I did not watch this trial LIVE...
I just viewed an interview of "the husband's brother" speaking on the verdict...
😠He made a claim that she lied! *Prove it!* if that is what you and your family felt...I would have contacted the Prosecutor's Office before the case was over! (They)both sides have the right to re-address any questions or responses by calling a person back to the stand...
*He(this brother) was not prepared when asked to share those lies*...
IF you're going to give examples of lies...
have them written down in order!
("His claims") she lied multiple times on the stand and he gave random thoughts of her alleged lies...(pictures of her wounds were taken the next day)
🤬This guy claims bruises and wounds will not show up the next day!🙄I do not know what type of gator skin you have "but most people no matter the race will have an immediate bruising and it will get worse in colors as it goes through the different phases of healing"....
🧐What are you talking about?
This brother clearly wanted to be on TV...
his ramblings on and on are atrocious....
IF she lied...PROVE IT!
They didn't prove it.
She came across as honest and real. I think it’s the right decision. AA would have helped him get back to the man she loved. Maybe his family doesn’t agree idk as I didn’t watch the whole trial. Good thing no kids. No kids right? RIP to the husband and condolences and blessings to them. And seems like she needed a trial to avoid people whispering and carrying on making all miserable. Good luck Lori. Life is to short and I do hope there’s life after for all our loved ones.
RIGHT VERDICT...JUST PLEASE STOP USING ALCOHOL...❤
I saw this coming from the beginning. Easy not guilty. Idiots. Some guilty people out there still but probably untouchable.
Good! He reminded me of my ex husband who would come home and tell me I did the neighborhood. Finally I answered Your right I'm wonder woman do the neighborhood and take care of our infant!
I believed her
Wow!!!....so how did he die?....My understanding is his injuries were consistent with that of falling off of a building or being crushed by a significant amount of weight..🤷🏿
😂 dam... the new hair cut 😂 whos she fooling .....shes guilty
One time I was hoping on a not guilty verdict
Thanks to the smart jurors did both the prosecution 💩💩💩💩
Good.
Gonna be the exact same for Karen Reed in Norfolk County Massachusetts
Yeah and that sucks
@TBx46 How so? Another innocent person being exonerated doesn't suck...
@@jusalilbettathanmost3613 she’s not innocent 🙄 so we are letting drunk people get off now? Odd
@TBx46 which one? The post here found not guilty by a jury? If you think for a second Adam (With a ballgag in his mouth) lallygagger is anywhere near the level of KR's attorney's you are not that smart. Once anyone the DA has on the stand the lies an corruption will come out. Unless they lie under oath (mind you a grand jury FBI has done previously about the Norfolk DA's corruption) if they do an with previously mentioned grand jury. They are screwed. An fyi facts trump opinion...
Sin against a law, judged by the law.
False witness against your brother is sin, same as muder under Our Lords ruling.
Deuteronomy 16
18 Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.
The judges shall inquire diligently, and if the witness is a false witness and has accused his brother falsely, 19 then you shall do to him as he had meant to do to his brother. So you shall purge the evil[c] from your midst. 20 And the rest shall hear and fear, and shall never again commit any such evil among you
"one nation under God indivisible with Liberty and justice for all"
The prosecutor did a terrible job. Stumbled over his words …. Discombobulated questions …..
AMEN PRAISE GOD.. A🙏
She got away with it
Unbelievable
@@Mystik_Angel you are absolutely right! Too many abusive men slip through the cracks and get away w/their crap their whole lives. I know more than one abused woman that had to wait decades for their abusive husbands to pass away to finally be rid of the abuse.
@@Mystik_Angel the solution is to leave someone if they're abusive, not murder them after turning off the cameras. She is just as bad as he was as an abuser for committing murder. The fact that he was her 4th husband speaks volumes to her character. Karma will take care if this though.
Alcohol and julousy =domestic voilence
Congratulations. Wow what a place to find your self in. Sad all the way around. Drinking ruins relationships. Families.
So how did he die?
She was suspect at first then the prosecution was miserable at taking this anywhere. Not guilty - fair enough I guess.
I wonder if the roles were different...would the verdict be the same?? would women be cheering the dude for killing his wife/GF with his truck and left her dead with major injuries....she be found quilty of involuntary manslaughter? If I was drinking and accidently hit someone I would be charged with something.
I don't think she intended to kill him but I feel she knew she hit him, just didn't think it was fatal. Neither were strangers to domestic violence, this was just another night for them. What is troubling is neither of them had a problem driving around drunk. Sounds like that was probably common. Luckily they never killed any innocent people. Just my 2 cents.
Well a jury found her not guilty...maybe she knew she struck him but hought he would be ok....
She got away w murder
