@bigmic1972 Except it wasn't just one "bad" decision. Roddie Bryan made horrible decision after decision. Specifically the multiple times he tried to run Ahmaud Arbery off the road with his truck and eventually blocking Ahmaud in even after seeing both of the McMichaels were armed.

Easy. Let’s say you were walking down the street and two guys walked up to you, they aren’t arm but have your gun concealed. They demand your wallet, you refuse and they grab a hold of you. In the back of you mind you know you have a concealed weapon and you know if they’re able to wrestle you to the ground there’s a chance your weapon gets seen by one of them and it’s a greater chance they will both over power you and get your weapon and possibly use it on you. At that point you then become scared for your life. Critical thinking is not that difficult
@@ny2379 your “critical thinking” bears ZERO resemblance to this case and no, you didn’t answer the question… which was: How can McMichael fear for his life when he is the one holding the weapon? Ans: He cannot. We all know it. If McMichael did fear, it’s his own fault. His piss poor military skills are showing too. When you hold the weapon, said weapon can always be turned on you. When you hold the weapon, never get within arms reach of the target. McMichael acted idiotically. By his prejudice and racist bias, chasing and confronting Arbery, he forced Ahmaud to fight. Ahmaud was the one fearing for his life.
Awaiting trial because she was charged probably for abuse of power, but I’m not sure. Her attorney is a defense attorney for a defendant on the YSL Young Thug trial in Atlanta. Her day is coming though. Justice will be served.
The first to respond, during the trial stated he was no longer a police officer. The policewoman may or may not still work there/in law enforcement. Honestly, I think she played the part well. She allowed him to tell his story as though she was on his side. When she speaks with another officer, she didn't say they were protecting property and it was self defense. She referred to the murder as murder.
Being a mother to 4 boys, i totally get it as far as them having dirty un-clipped fingernails and toenails. That totally broke my heart at the end. The audacity of the defense attorney saying anything like that about the victim. My heart aches for this mother! Also, I knew racism still exists today. But, my jaw dropped seeing it in the courtroom! That is just unacceptable!
this makes me so sick. the horror of his last minutes. he probably could only think of how all these ppl around him couldn't muster up an ounce of humanity.
The fact that Travis got on the stand to give his “side of the story,” is greater proof to me of the detachment and privilege of people like him, all around the world. He clearly didn’t take into account the fact that Ahmad’s interaction with him stemmed from him being chased down for MINUTES, by individuals he didn’t know, who clearly posed a threat to his life. And Ahmad was right. Ahmad had every right to stand his ground and fight for his life.
@@ABrooksCupid Travis McMichael and all the defense lawyers clearly were banking on just one of the jurors to empathize with the murderers. All it would have taken was one. Some really disgusting things came out of their mouths in search of that one juror.
Wow, you can just look at these hillbillies & KNOW what ignorant things they are going to say. Just makes me sick. If they weren’t so ignorant & racist they can see Ahmaud was JOGGING NOT RUNNING. I wish Ahmaud Would have stopped & asked the shooter what the hec they wanted, why are they chasing him, but their actions were just so wrong & sick to me & Im glad the jury saw the reality of what these pos did. I can only ask the Lord to grant Ahmaud’s family & friends peace & love. 🙏❤️✝️
I think what’s more disturbing is had the lawyer not sent out that video this case would have been thrown under the rug because the prosecutor is a criminal and still hasn’t been to court she needs to be charged
To be fair, Roddy Bryant knows the two men, so I’m sure he thought that they were following Ahmad legitimately. I bet he wishes he stayed home, kept his beak out of it.
Had a black gentleman snooping around a home I was building. I confronted him and told not to come back. Pulling a gun like these guys did is crazy and uncalled for especially if the individual is not brandishing a weapon and also running away.
Exactly Soo many entered. Only Ahmaud was hunted and shot 3 times until he knew he was injured enough to die. As the judge said they turned and walked away. No one went to him in his dying moments.
This case still bothers me. Jackie Johnson is still walking free. This murder trial was the one trial that got me interested in true crime. I watched the trial live every day, my very first time doing that. Something jaw-dropping happened every day of that trial-from Bryan’s lawyer making racist requests and trying to declare a mistrial nearly every day, to one lawyer commenting on Ahmaud’s long, dirty toenails, and all the neighbor witnesses and police witnesses who testified to the crazy things that happened either on the day of the murder or in the weeks leading up to it. Insanity.
@@ABrooksCupid Most certainly! Her excuse for not being able to go to trial was that her lawyer, Brian Steel, was busy with the "Young Thug" trial. I don't know how that makes sense because any of us would have to find an available lawyer but... At any rate, now that Brian Steel's client has made a plea deal, surly he will be free very soon to accompany Jackie Johnson to court.
And now your son got yo grow up without you should have thought about his son and stayed at the house with his son and told his dad leave that man alone
So heartbreaking & disturbing. No words💔 He had no obligation to stop at their request. They say that like that is justification for their horrific actions. Of course Ahmaud was afraid, he was being hunted; followed by a car only to come to an occupied truck parked in the road and a gun hanging out.
This was one of the sickest most vile hateful murders I've seen in my life! They hunted this poor young man down horrificly...I've never had sooo much hate in me as I have against these 3 Devils in my life!
This had me crying and crying ,that poor young man ,he was terrified Im sure and these monster hunted him down and brutally murdered him ,they should all rot in prison .
Mr English ONLY reported people coming onto the property, because he was concerned about his legal liability should someone hurt themselves on the property. The kind of concern which is a big element of all homeowners insurance matters. It's America, people are incredibly litigious and he didn't want to get himself involved in 5 years of court cases, and hugely increased premiums. That was ALL he cared about. ALL.
People, seemingly Travis, were stealing Mr. English's boating equipment, etc. It was clearly the neighbors, plus Mr. English stated that his contractors may have stolen some equipment or tools as well. That's when he put the cameras up.
My heart just filled up with saddness as i think about Ahmad last few minutes. I know he was scared I just cant imagine the fear that was running threw him😢. However he didnt let them break him he tried is best to fight his way out of the horrible situation. I hope the young man soul is resting in peace. I hope his family is doing their best. I know this is a tradgy and its something that they will nevet get over especially his parents but I hope some peace have come there way.
.....and PLEASE, not only his fear of those pri.cks, but the fear from pain, the fear from being LEFT to die in that manner, the fear from wondering if you might be saved.....😢😢😢😢😢😢
How do u chase sth that is a threat 2 u ? Did police advise the McMichaels to persue the young man with a loaded gun ? This was a case of father trying to tolerate his son's ego and misbehaviour ? "U r not putting him in handcuffs" who did he think he is ? Sadly the cops complied with a crook. 😡
His mom just told us why he was in the house and it all makes sense. He was studying to be an electrician. Notice when he’s in the house looking around not taking or damaging anything.
It's a heartbreaking story, that must be told, of a innocent man jogging ends up fighting to save his life before it was cut short so tragically that fateful day.
They didn’t want him to live. They mindset was shoot to kill. They felt like hero’s. That’s why Travis had the mitigated gall to get up on the stand and claim self defense and had no grounds to stand after starting a murderr.
They were pretty bad ass - I wonder what they're doing now - I wish a camera crew could go in and show us and whatever happened with that DA Jackie Johnson was her name?
This is heartbreaking!! I 'm going through a similar situation in Macon Ga (Bibb County). Multiple deputies tased and killed my schizophrenic son while in their custody and at one point while he was handcuffed! He was arrested for criminal trespassing. The GBI has ruled my son's death a homicide, but the deputies have not been arrested and Sheriff David Davis, or the DA won't allow our family to view the camera footage, or body camera. They won't even release information to our attorneys! They killed my son and now it feels like they are mentally abusing our family, and protecting the deputies!! I am beyond frustrated! We deserve to know exactly what happened to him and who killed him!! It's on camera so they should RELEASE THE FOOTAGE!! This happened 5/25/24 and we're still waiting to see the camera footage. It seems like the legal system in Bibb county are too busy covering each others backs, and aren't concerned about the victims family.
Court tv you should be ashamed of yourself. You conveniently omitted that Travis moved to the left side of the truck when Armad tried to avoid him by going around the truck. This makes it seem like armad was the aggressor when he wasn’t. Even when you try to make a documentary to do good you can’t help but sprinkle your micro racism of yours in there. Shame on you
I believe Bryant also had a gun. Why would Ahmaud have changed directions when Bryant's truck cornered him if Bryant had no gun. Clearly the Mcmichaels BOTH had guns. For 72 days NOONE was arrested, WHY?!
B COP “ I can only imagine “ wow A civilian telling you he chased a man down and Mur.. him because he didn’t listen to you “ if he would’ve just stopped “ what in the absolute F !!!!!!
No matter what happened here. Let’s not forget 1 thing. It’s definitely not ok to just walk onto and into someone’s property in this country. Because you can defend your property with force in this country. Period. 🇺🇸
The fact that you think he got shot walking onto people's property is what's wrong with this country. Ahmaud got shot because he was black, and he did not get shot by the property owner. He got shot by racist men with hate and anger in their hearts. Your logic and way of thinking implies that everyone who walked into that property without permission got shot, which we know didn't happen. Only the black man got shot. FYI, Travis went onto that property without the owner, Mr. English, giving the permission to do so multiple times. Mr. English, the owner, never met or spoke with Travis and/or his dad, so he never gave them permission to go onto his property, but they did anyways. So why didn't they get shot. Travis and his father had about the same right as you and I defending that property and that is no right. They don't even own any property in that street. They were renting.
And this is the problem. Believing you can kill someone for next to nothing. Wasn’t even their property. You heard what the judge said. Stop assuming the worse about ppl who don’t look like you. Stop thinking you can take the law into your own hands. Mr. English said he never took anything and was already monitoring the cameras.
Whenever you find pain, misery and horrific events done by human beings. Then you'll always find guys like Ted Rowlands & Vinnie Politan close nearby to make sure they can exploit the victims as much as possible and make as much money as possible from it. It's a sick world we live in when people like that get rewarded😮😮
She only had 3 children . And she owned her house . The cop and coast guard people were renting. The Daughter has a Bachelors Degree and 2 Masters Degrees. Travis has a go fund me and I read the picture taker sister has a DUI arrest. But ok you win
I believe the coroner said the first shot was fatal. He would of died regardless. He fought back because of the “fight or flight” one feels in that situation. Adrenaline is a major contributor to his ability to fight with such a devastating wound. Rip. Very sad. He tried very hard to save his life and get away.
@@DMANN007 Yes, Ahmaud Arbery likely would have died even if aid was given immediately. But at the very damn least the McMichaels should have rendered HUMAN comfort as soon as they realized that he was not in any way armed. (Not that I believe they really thought he was armed.)

@@ny2379 your “critical thinking” bears ZERO resemblance to this case and no, you didn’t answer the question… which was:
How can McMichael fear for his life when he is the one holding the weapon?
Ans: He cannot. We all know it. If McMichael did fear, it’s his own fault. His piss poor military skills are showing too. When you hold the weapon, said weapon can always be turned on you. When you hold the weapon, never get within arms reach of the target. McMichael acted idiotically. By his prejudice and racist bias, chasing and confronting Arbery, he forced Ahmaud to fight. Ahmaud was the one fearing for his life.
@@ny2379just pray I won’t meet you in the streets
Where is Jackie Johnson the Ex DA??? Who covered this up??
Awaiting trial because she was charged probably for abuse of power, but I’m not sure. Her attorney is a defense attorney for a defendant on the YSL Young Thug trial in Atlanta. Her day is coming though. Justice will be served.
Cover up at the highest levels of government
How many cases like this over the years have there been with zero questions asked?
Emmit Till got murdered at 14 years old for speaking to a store clerk (white) in Mississippi
This is sickening on so many levels. What happened to the officers who responded and “calmed “ the shooters, yet didn’t render aid to the victim?
So Travis thought that taking the stand would convince us that he killed Ahmaud in self defence? Thank God for the stupid I say!

this makes me so sick. the horror of his last minutes. he probably could only think of how all these ppl around him couldn't muster up an ounce of humanity.
The jury was majority white: one black juror. He probably thought they would empathize with him.
@@ABrooksCupid Travis McMichael and all the defense lawyers clearly were banking on just one of the jurors to empathize with the murderers. All it would have taken was one. Some really disgusting things came out of their mouths in search of that one juror.
I wonder if they get it by now or do they think they are still justified in behaving the way that they did?🤔
No, rednecks are never wrong. That is the message they are still telling themselves.

And this wasn’t their house, so they didn’t even need to do that.
You sound like a racist especially when you made sure we knew he was BLACK
Exactly
Soo many entered. Only Ahmaud was hunted and shot 3 times until he knew he was injured enough to die. As the judge said they turned and walked away. No one went to him in his dying moments.
Why the police not in jail especially the lady cop
Watch for the trial of the DA, Jackie Johnson, set for January 21. Apparently her misconduct covered up the murder.
Insanity.
Jackie Johnson definitely needs to be held accountable!
I believe she's still awaiting trial.

Facts. He actually said he had no problem with people looking inside which a lot of people did do.
I can only imagine the terror Ahmaud felt. There was no reason for them to chase him.

It's a heartbreaking story, that must be told, of a innocent man jogging ends up fighting to save his life before it was cut short so tragically that fateful day.
Driveway decision and assumptions got them life.
Jackie Johnson's trial is set for January 21.
Unbelievable!
Such a sad and senseless act of hate. I will never forget this case. How this effected the world and changed us forever.

🤡 period.
@PinstripePride85 You toopid. Period.
And this is the problem. Believing you can kill someone for next to nothing. Wasn’t even their property. You heard what the judge said. Stop assuming the worse about ppl who don’t look like you.
