You can get a lounger for your balcony; just ask your butler. Weather permitting: the breakfast at the bar & grill up on the Yacht Club pool deck is better than the restaurant. Pro tip: on embarkation day, you'll be escorted to the Top Sail Lounge where you'll meet your butler. After the introduction (and if you embark aboard before lunch), the bar & grill on the Yacht Club pool deck is a great place to grab lunch! Pack the swimming attire in your carry on bag so you can enjoy the pool too.
@@lindsayslivealittle Cool. Just throwing it out there for anybody else watching. We're Diamond cruisers with MSC and have been cruising in the Yacht Club since 2015. Great videos of your experiences on board one of my favorite ships in the MSC fleet. Wait until you see the MSC World America (Summer 2025).
Nice video. Due to watching your previous videos about the MSC Yacht Club, I've booked the Duplex Suite with whirlpool on the MSC World Europe in the Med for next year. Can't wait, especially since the suite is going to be a complete surprise for my wife, because I haven't told her what I've booked, just that we're going on a cruise. We normally go in The Retreat on Celebrity, but an Edge Villa (which we've always wanted to stay in) is about 4 times the price of the Duplex Suite.
It is hard to beat the value for your dollar with MSC. Frees up the travel budget to enjoy the places so much more! We were just looking at the Europa today.
I thoroughly enjoyed my Yacht Club experience. Probably the best overall experience in a cruise ship in over twenty journeys. The best 3:25 perk was no waiting in any line for anything. It took less than 15 minutes to board and even less to disembark. One question: Why only one Toberlone?
Soo.. How did you end up getting a balcony room!? I am excited because we have this exact room booked.. But we paid for an interior YC room. Just random luck?
Yes we will be releasing the vlog videos over the next couple week with some comparison videos. However, you will probably only catch Saturday mornings video before you board so to give you a sneak peak we had a great time and think it is the best bang for your buck in the suite class’s we have tried. It isn’t perfect and remember it’s an Italian cruise line so probably keep that in mind when ordering food. Also try the pizza!
At 8:58 you said YC gives you one day access to the Thermal Suite - we've been on MSC YC several times - the Thermal Suite access is unlimited, everyday of the cruise, or were you told something different?.
We were told on our trip we only had access one day. It makes the perk even better if it is everyday but for our 3 night sailing we were told only 1 day.
Yep, YC passengers have access to the Thermal Spa everyday. Just grab one of the blue YC towels, throw it over your shoulder and walk right in. Sometimes during the busy cruising seasons when there's a full passenger manifest, you'll have to make an appointment but it's never a problem. If there's a line in the spa to book appointments, just ask one of the Yacht Club crew members at the YC Concierge Desk to make the reservations for you.
I am on the fence about MSC, would only consider YC. I like Celebrity Edge ships in the Retreat the best. I am tempted to try YC on MSC due to lower prices but even those have been rising lately
Bang for your buck you can’t say no to the Yacht Club. However, because of that it probably will never have the exact level of quality of the Retreat. But can save you.
We would suggest finding a 3-4 night YC cruise and try it out. Find good deals on those and lets you taste the experience before a longer trip and spending more.
I priced a June 7day on MSC in YC for Eastern Caribbean and it was $7,200 approx with tax. On Celebrity in Retreat for same ports it’s approx $10,000. So about 28 percent discount for YC vs Retreat. Is this a pretty normal discount that you’ve found comparing YC and the Retreat? I’m just trying to figure out how much of an average discount there is….. looks like approx 25 percent discount on the sailings I looked at
Thanks so much for caring! My hand gets a little bit better as the MSC videos go along. Doctors weren’t 100% sure how bad it was so needed that big thing on for about a week! Emma
@lindsayslivealittle I broke my arm last May, and it was horrible. I'm still recovering. So, I totally understand how it feels. But I didn't have a little one to look after at the same time. You're an awesome mom. It totally shows in your videos. Your little one is adorable!
Ben and David had a positive experience in Yacht Club up until staff recognized them as having a negative experience with MSC in the past and they were censored as a result-
Looks great guys.
Thanks Briggs. Yal should give it a try.
I'm booked Yacht Club next year and your video got me so hyped.
Have a great time!

Thanks for the add. We were aware it is possible.

You two seem like fun to cruise with. Great video.
Thanks much!

I am not sure why only 1. It was kind of odd as it is the only thing.
Love the thumbnail! Lol
Thanks much. We were honestly going back and forth on if it was too much. But we bit the bullet!

MSC does bid up. We bid the bare minimum and got it. It was about $50pp for the bid.
Looks like it was a lovely suite.
Can’t beat it for the price!
Wow this is so amazing ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank so much! We had a bit of fun with the thumbnail!
Will you be sharing a longer review of your experience?
We board the Seascape YC Saturday... Can't wait!

Looks really nice! MSC doesn't do Alaska do they?
They do not go to Alaska as of now.
Loved the yacht 😊
We really enjoyed ourselves!

@@kennethpreston9813that is typically average to what you will see.
You mentioned a charge for chips & nuts. Did they tell you in advance or after you ate them? Also, does YC have ice cream available?
Our butler walked us through everything and what is and isn't included. THe YC does have ice cream available.
Thank you.
Does the sofa pull out?
Yes it does.
How is the hair dryer
Thanks for watching. If I am going to be 100% honest I didn’t try it!
Emma
Looks like not much shaded space to lie down on the sun deck.
They did have additional umbrellas they would set up. They were just out when we filmed. Plenty of covered seating/lounging when those are out.
What happened to your hand?
I broke my hand and finger accidentally. Made for some interesting content filming.
I will be fine though and have already recovered.
Emma
I'm so sorry that happened! I'm glad you're doing better
❤

We had similar experiences with the crew and management asking about our equipment but never ran into any issues.
