Yet a day can be an eternity . I am into my 50th year of surfing and the hunger still is present. But the point Mit states is true...My words are...go the road less traveled, at any age; as the treasures you count as time takes it toll will be more joyous if they are the memories of wonder and ones centred on the the Sea of Joy...Torren's film had many moments of Paul Witzigs classic movie of the same name and a very Nat feel to Torren's surfing. I refuse to be a slave to the system anymore, I busted my ass end for 30 years only to have it all stolen from me. What little I have left will be spent doing nothing but surfing, and after that I'll die happy. This guy Torren he's likely a decent bloke, but don't be fooled by the staged scenes and the cinematography. Snippets in an otherwise hectic life that he leads.
Great surfer but vid shows the wide nose boards just don't cut it if there is any lump or bump on the waves. He looked so much better on the more refined modern short board.
As a Hawaiian born and raised, I approve this message haha, Aus is the place to be. Prefer the surf culture (and waves) there way more than here. If anyone wants to trade citizenship let me know
