- The past week and the few to come are some of the most difficult situations the aviation industry has ever been through. The crisis right now is affecting PlanesWeekly as well, however we are doing our utmost to maintain weekly videos. Some of our projects have been postponed or cancelled due to the current crisis with COVID-19.
We hope you'll enjoy this beautiful Airbus A350-1000 from Cathay Pacific on a departure out of Manchester Airport. This was shot back in December of 2019. Cathay Pacific is now facing a lot of problems and has most of its fleet grounded. The same is the case for most airlines right now.
We hope every airline will get through this crisis, and that we soon will have everything back to normal.

I flew China southern's A350-900 and the plane is verry comfortable and queit il be flying on the 1000 in a couple of days !

I haven't really been paying much interest to the a350...I'm a boeing guy. But the thing is actually huge
Wie der Airbus A350 - 900XWB in den Deinst gestellt wurde, habe ich in mein Kommentar die Anmerkung gemacht: "wenn vor- und hinter den Tragflächen noch ein Segment
zusätzlich eingebaut wird, haben wir die europäische Boeing 777" Kurze Zeit später wurde genau das gemacht. Nun gehe ich mal davon aus, dass meine Anregung
nicht von der Airbusindustrie aufgegriffen wurde, um die A350 - 1000 zu bauen. Aber es kann auch möglich sein, dass ein Ingenieur mein Kommentar als Anlass gesehen
hat, genau das zu machen. Für mich ist der A350-1000XWB meine Maschine. Klingt überheblich und ist es auch. Heute empfehle ich der Airbusindustrie, den A350-1000
umzubauen. Wenn beide Triebwerke, wie bei der Boeing 727, am Heck angebracht werden schlägt diese Konzeption alle Rekorde. Gerne erkläre ich bei Interesse warum das
so ist.
