- Seen here are purely Airbus A350 aircraft taking off and landing with their powerful Rolls Royce Trent XWB, man those engines make a roooaaar :D The Airbus A350 XWB a widebody aircraft designed to match the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The A350 is the first airbus aircraft that is mostly made of carbon fiber. The A350 XWB has two variants: The A350-900 can carry 300 to 350 passengers over a 15,000 kilometres (8,100 nautical miles) range and has a 280-ton (617,300-pound) maximum take-off weight (MTOW). The longer A350-1000 can carry 350 to 410 passengers, has a maximum range of 16,100 km (8,700 nmi) and a 319 t (703,200 lb) MTOW, and is supported by two 6-wheel main landing gear. A350 is so cool to look at. Comfort and low cabin noise are its features of interest for the passengers. Its range, seating capacity, and fuel economy are attractive to the airlines. Overall, an excellent aircraft.

@@user-sj7he8mq5s which in fact wasnt even the planes fault and did it's job by saving all of those 300+ PAX, that collision did not damage the reputation of the A350 but in fact it showed how safe it actually is

I love the grind whine on these engines on spool up and take-off. Super powerful sound. And a very attractive plane.
Reminds me of the older DC-10's and MD-11's.
I dont know whether you have noticed that they sound different on dry runways.( China Airlines 0.49 as to Cathay Pacific15.42)
Best modern airliner to fly as a passenger. Makes the 787 look like a dinosaur (it is a lot older than the 350). Better air purity inside, more comfortable, quieter, better to look at etc.
If it looks right - it flies right! What a beautiful aircraft! Well done Airbus! Wow! My new favorite airliner!

I have traveled on ITA A350-900 (Roberto Baggio name) BS AS / ROMA. ROME BS AS, March 2023! The best plane I have ever traveled on in my life.

The first time I have travelled with a A350, I have imédiately felt the différence: more space , more silence... a touch of elegance. What I fear the most is that one day Airbus or Boeing will crush its competitor. In this case both companies are screwed.Together by the hard competition they make, they prevent another manufacturer from competing with them. But if one crushes the other and becomes the only N°1 then it will never be able to win on all segments and will gradually lose ground.
What a marvellous machine. I flew on the Iberojet A350. it was a good flight. zero complains.

I am a captain of that thing. And I am amazed every time I get in the cockpit. It is like being on the starship Enterprise. Best workplace ever. Before that I was on A320, A330 and A340. I love those planes but they are by far no match to the A350.

@@PilotSanderHD The -900. My company ordered some - 1000 but they have problems with getting the first class interior, so it might take a while.
I just flew China Airways A350-900 to Beijing and back from LHR, outward 625 minutes, back 695 minutes, amazing technical achievement. But by G@d it was anguish to sit in an economy seat that long. Severe pain. Flying economy in the 80's-90's was significantly more comfortable.
As far as modern economy goes China Airlines is extremely comfortable, especially on their A350. 18" width, 32" of pitch!

In the 80s and 90s you would have been 30 to 40 years younger than now and as old person you would find sitting in a chair for a long time painful.

Really amazing machine, piticullary when it lands, both 330 and 350 are exceptional.
A330 has had too many accidents and incidents.

In feb.2023 we spent a vacation in Thailand. The flight from Germany to Thailand we use an Airbus A380 and the flight home was an Airbus A350. The 350 was better than the 380, before this flight i didn't expect this.
Well, a lot of the passenger experience depends on the interior, and LH's A350s are considerably newer than their A380s, which I believe are still using their original interior in economy.
I suspect if you tried something like the Emirates or Qatar A380, your preference might shift toward the A380.
For me, the silence and relative smoothness of the A380 over every other airliner is what sets it apart as so special, not to mention the incredible engineering feat that it is, basically a flying skyscraper...

A A350 collided in Japan on the runway with another plane shortly after touchdown. It wasn't their fault. The A350 just kept running on the runway after the collision. All people at the A350 survived.

Because they were the original jet engine manufacturer, they gave the tech to the Yanks in exchange for hard dollars and American aid after WW2 because Britain was broke due to the war!😂

I love to watch the comments. My opinion is that Boeing has to put these cases in order if it doesn't want Airbus to be able to do the same thing as with the A320. There's also something else and it's just me. Commercial aviation was not created for pilots to enjoy flying. But for boarding passengers from point A to point B safely. On this point, I think that Airbus is way ahead by automating the maximum number of tasks and controls. But Airbus must also be careful about the loss of these talents. ps: I love airplanes... whether they are Boeing or Airbus.
