I'm so excited to share with you how to style these cute hairstyles with you. They are 3 quick and easy bun hairstyles. These bun tutorials can be recreated in under 3 minutes and will work beautifully for medium and long hairstyles.
Depending on how you dress up these hairstyles you could wear them to work, date night, and even more formal events like prom, or a wedding.

Try a stable scrunchie rather than a thin hair tie
Double on the hair ties and hair spray your hair and tease it lightly to give it a “grip” then pin with strong Bobby pins instead of hair pins. You can also try dry shampoo for giving the hair that grip so it does t slip and fall apart

hairspray. there is no way around hairspray, in my experience, for lose hairstyles like the ones shown here when dealing with thick, straight, slippery hair. the stereotypical asian hair is just too heavy and sleek to stay in place for long unless tied really, really tight or having a bazillion pins in it.
Braid your hair the night before when it’s slightly damp, and use sea salt or texture spray before starting. Then hairspray a ton after. I have the same problem!

The first one is the knot bun. It works even with floor length hair. The knot bun is one of my go to buns in winter because it's a nice flat bun.

Hi, I'm trying the first bun, but I'm constantly failing. I feel like I get the shape, but the middle part falls out right away (I secure the sides with bobby pins). What am I doing wrong?
The first one is very manageable for me to do. My hair still looked a little bit unpolished (I’ve got wavy, messy, dark brown hair), but it definitely looks much better than wearing my hair down. I have my Top 10% ceremony in two days and I was scrambling to figure out a hairstyle that I could wear for the occasion. Thank you!

Leanne Le No need to be rude. It‘s often easier for non-natives to follow a video if they read subtitles while listening to the person. I for example really have troubles understand people speaking spanish, but reading it as text is absolutely no problem and very helpful to understand, I hope this helps.
