They both look amazing. I have tried to make a fixed blade work for daily use but always end up back to folders. The blade finishes are absolutely the way to go for me as well. Just from video alone I think the larger knife would work better for me. But that leather sheath would be a needed up grade. Really cool to hear Mitch got it and we can see more videos

I have the south pole. Really great knife!! Honestly I wold have gone with the South pole just for the extra blade length and better grip. Plus you have folders with roughly the same size as kis. But both great knives I'm saving up for k1s. Keep up the great vids and stay sahe!
I ordered one of those leather sheaths from oak city for my k1-s virus. Because of this video and your in car video. Still waiting on it but very excited. I think K1-S was the better choice too
I just got the K-1s as the off hand carry to my TRC Apocalypse. Both in the brown micarta and the Apocalypse finish. The Apocalypse is definitely my big-boy knife.
The K-1s is my favorite compact fixed knife ever. You really can't go wrong with TRC. 👍
Even though I sold the south pole, I would hesitate for a second to buy another TRC

The south pole will be more versatile for whatever situation. The k1s is a great fixed edc that's also capable of larger tasks
my Williams blades Kwaiken is made by TRC and its an excellent fixed blade.... will check those out. Thanks!

It may offer some scratch and corrosion resistance, but mostly it's aesthetic
