Great job Jaime!! Always love it when you can get in some NS. They are part of the family there too. It's so lucky you got miles long bike path over great scenery and can easily stop, rest and intercept trains along the way 🐞🐞🐞
Thanks so much! I've enjoyed seeing NS out on the Lehigh Line more often during the daytime this year. Got more NS videos in the queue from earlier this spring, so keep your eye out for those.
Good morning Jamie. I'm glad you got to see some unplanned surprise trains. You really got your moneys worth out of that day. I hope you're doing well and enjoying the gorgeous Pennsylvania weather. 14:54
Good evening Dennis! I got super lucky that day with my timing. It's funny how so many days I have to really work to catch that many trains, yet on this day it just happened to work out without much effort on my part. It was definitely fun and it was a beautiful day to be out. Hope you're doing well tonight my friend!
Excellent! As I get older I'm realizing the best things happen when I'm not trying. Not suggesting we shouldn't try at all, just pursue without expectations and be surprised.
So true! I got super lucky that day with my timing. It's funny how so many days I have to really work to catch that many trains, yet on this day it just happened to work out without much effort on my part.
Some great Catches Jamie!! Is that the day Cam and I saw you. If so wow did you make some time from us to your vechile!! Nice NS Catches too! Like the view you did in White Haven!
Thanks, Ian! That was indeed the day I stopped to see you and Cam when you had biked onto the trail as well. It was pretty much a whirlwind of a time getting back to catch up to my friends before they left town, but I did indeed catch them.
Awesome video jamie!! Man Jim thorpe and surrounding areas are amazing for train action! Im heading to jim thorpe tomorrow for some train action and im super pumped! Haven’t been to R&N since the winterfest ride in winter so im excited to be back! Hope to see you there too! Scott
Thanks, Scott, glad you enjoyed it! I hope you had a nice time in Jim Thorpe. This week's weather has been so much nicer than the past month or more, great time to go riding and railfanning.
@@paulsmith5398 Oh paul 🤣! It’s happened before man! Unfortunately, they took the Erie Heritage out of service today because of electric issues. But in terms of derailments, many have happened! Southern had a bad one, etc. In NS eyes nowadays, a heritage unit is another peice of money waiting to be put away.
@@TheShortlinefoamer the IT & WABASH heritage units would look great at the small RR museum in Monticello Illinois..........(and they would keep them clean, too!)
Rewatching 🎉
Thanks!
Nice video. I enjoyed watching and listening to. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome catches! There's so much to see even just in the Jim Thorpe area
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! It's a great area to live in and to railfan!

9,000 horsepower for only 5 cars? Isnt that a little overkill? And NS is being sued by Amtrak for delaying passenger service, imagine that?!?!
Exactly! I try to stay away from NS as much as i can now. Simply because of how much of a joke they are. Just dont risk it 😂
@@TheShortlinefoamer after East Palestine, my opinion of NS is "Not Safe". (As long as they dont wreck the heritage units.........)
