A week after my husband left me 4 months ago, I danced my heart out to this song in my kitchen. I don't remember the choreography, I just remember the tears and feelings of brokenness. Today I stand in a different kitchen with tears and a different feeling of knowing that this is always who have I have been. Watching your interpretation is much different from the broken wife of 17 years that I felt 4 months ago. I feel strength, love, and peace. Thank you!
I didn't think it was possible to make this song more touching and inspirational, but watching this proved me wrong. Your passion and love for ASL is incredible and I will definitely be watching more of your videos in the future! Thank you so much for this!
I just saw this video recently, and must agree. I thought the same; I didn't think it could be more moving, inspirational, or encouraging, but you made it so. Thank you for sharing your passion, and love of the ASL as a language, and for bringing such representations to the Deaf community.
I am learning ASL and i hope to be as fluent as you someday in how i present and how i bring the emotion to the interpretation, not just the words. Love it!!!!
We miss you Amber. I gotta say back when I was in high school our deaf teacher played a lot of your videos. I went on to collage and now I’m an ASL interpreter. This video popped up in my recommended and I gotta say. This was posted my senior year of high school. It made me cry a bit. you and my teacher helped me realize what I want to do in my life. I just want to say thank you. I’ve been an interpreter now for 3 years. This is me. 🤟
I have been subscribed to your channel for a while now and have always enjoyed your videos. This is the first video that actually made me very emotional. Thank you for all of the hard work and heart you put into your interpreting. You make the music come alive.
Amber, thank you for doing this song! I have been waiting for your interpretation since I saw the movie. I knew YOU were the one who could rock this anthem! Well done!
You are absolutely fabulous! I wish I could still sign. Years of not using it. I didn’t grow up with deaf family members, but I started taking lessons at a young age from Mrs. Gunn. She and her husband were wonderful individuals. Thank you for blessing us!
This is absolutely amazing and beautiful. As someone who wants to be an asl interpreter I can't even imagine trying to interpret this song with as much emotion and beauty and power that you put in this. Absolutely amazing to watch and very inspiring. Makes me want to be as good of an interpreter as you are someday.
This is a new favorite!! I could really feel all the layers of music and vocals in your signing, and the confidence you signed with made me feel like I was watching the scene from the movie. Thank you so much for this truly excellent interpretation!!
I'm a hearing person. I've seen the original which was moving and inspirational. But as I'm laying in bed, sick, scared, and afraid to be who I am, God sent YOU to bring this song to life and make it real. You are not only interpreting and bringing music to life for the deaf, but also for the hearing. God bless you.
You don't know how much you mean to me. ASL means happiness to me. I am hearing, but when I moved from PR to NY I had no friends. My only friend was deaf. I joined the Sign Language class and felt like I was home. I wanted to be an Interpreter but it never happened. However, whatever little bit I knew I shared with my children. Now that I am a grandmother, I am convinced God was preparing me. My grandson was born deaf, so before he got his cochlear implants, I had taught him signs that he used as a baby and toddler. I love you and what you do. May God forever bless your hands.
You are incredible. I really have no other words. Came here because of my love of hip hop, an art form I have loved for most of my 41 years here. The way you interpret songs is it’s own art form. And good for you and every interpreter for bringing the power of music out through ASL
I'm an ASL learner and I have hearing impairment when it was my first year with hearing aids when I was in 6th grade I song this song in my first chorus concert in middle, and I never thought it was going to be in ASL. Thank you soooooooo much.
WoW 😯… beautiful to watch you put your ASL with body language into music for us deaf people to see music 🎶…. Awesome 👏… Thank you so much for sharing this with us…🥰💕…
This was amazing. This song is already so powerful on its own, but you added so much depth to it with your signing. I could feel all the emotion by watching you. I love your music interpretations. Thank you!
I know it is late and I know you posted this last year but today is where everything changes. You are amazing and I love the fact you are lip synching to the parts you are doing so others are not lost. Your emotions and interpretation had me in tears. Even as I write this I am still crying. I cry happy tears and hope to see more.
I only just recently found out about this song. After listening to it a few times, I prayed that you would do a video of this song. OMG it was amazing as I knew it world be. Thank you for your passion and artistry.
You give me goosebumps every time I watch you sign!! You motivate me to get back into school and finish my ASL interpreter degree and certification. I love music and aspire to be like you in how it’s interpreted one day!! Thanks for all you do!! Love you!!
I’ve been looking for songs that I can start to understand that aren’t pigeon signed English. This is perfect ! Looking forward to watching more and learning ❤️
Oh My God...You make me want to work harder and be better as a interpreter. This really touched me. Please come to NYC and share your gift …. I will pay anything to attend a class or seminar given by you. God bless you...
i performed this song in ASL for my school, every time i see you sign this song i get the chills. you are so amazing at interpreting and signing and putting emotion into your signs!
It's such a powerful song so full of hope and I just love how Amber interprets songs but this one particularly. She is so visual, acting out the song complete with the music. This is a song for anyone and everyone!
I am.... SO happy.... that this video popped into my feed. Currently crying buckets. You're brought my Therapy Song to a whole new level. Thank you, Missus, from the bottom of my heart. 🥲💙

I watched the video of Keala Settle do this to get the movie greenlit about 10 times, then I went looking for Amber's interpretation... I didn't even know if it would be here. I was going to suggest it! Thanks Amber!!! How cool would it be to watch them do this song side-by-side?? Whoa!
A saw you turned off the comments to Etheridge’s “I Want To Be In Love”. And I just wanted to say that you deserve it all, my dear. You’re beautiful, talented, brave, and inspiring. Thank you for sharing your gifts with all of us strangers! 😘
omg this interpretation is absolutely amazing. It was so powerful. I can just feel the emotion pouring out of you. This song has such a powerful message but with asl it makes it come to life even more. You never fail to make me smile. I’ve been subscribed for a while now and I think you’re just wonderful.
I love you, your energy. The whole package. You inspire me to follow my asl interpreter dreams. Thank you. P.s. i feel like you've gotten into it and knocked over your camera before lol

Hello, my name is Tristan Guess. You don't know me but I am a huge fan of your videos. Long time ago I was inspired to learn ASL through one of my classes I was told I had to take. I fell in love with the language and the deaf community where I live. My professor pointed you out to my class and since then I can not stop watching your video, you really know how to tell a story. Anyway, I was wondering if you can do an tutorial of an song call " if you have a bad day". It's me and my dads favorite song and I would like to show him all the progress I been making with my ASL. We are miles apart but we are really close. I'm in school trying to learn to be an inturper in ASL like you but instead of music I chose to be an inturpter for kids in the special education system. I mean you do not have to do an tutorial if you do not want to. After all like I said you do not know. At the end of the day I think your amazing and I hope you keep on inspiring other just like you inspired me. Thank you for being you. Hope you have a good day.
A week after my husband left me 4 months ago, I danced my heart out to this song in my kitchen. I don't remember the choreography, I just remember the tears and feelings of brokenness. Okay this song is already amazing but that interpretation straight up just made me cry ❤

Yes you nailed it. I had goosebumps.

Music is an art form that everyone should be able to experience. Your interpretation is just as much art as the songs you interpret.

Beautifully interpreted. I love seeing these idioms interpreted. So poetic and helps to understand the meaning even more.
I only just recently found out about this song. After listening to it a few times, I prayed that you would do a video of this song. OMG it was amazing as I knew it world be. Thank you for your passion and artistry.
