I like YB...but holy 1983!!! And its not surprising they originate from Kelowna (for those of you who don't know where Kelowna is, it is located in the 'Lake Country' (aka The Okanagan region of British Columbia - not to be confused with the American spelling of Okanogan) a semi arid, peach growing, winery infested area where one foot is perpetually in a beach thong and the other in your choice or cowboy boot, steel toed boot or Air Jordan and is virtually impossible to explain in sensibility to those from away. Suffice to say this canny, catchy pastiche pop from YB is another indicator of the curiously Canadian affinity to mimic various styles with abandon.
