- It's time to do one of the boot wizards favourite things. Try a new lotto boot out! Over the last few years lotto have gone under the radar delivering banger after banger after banger. Everything from the synthetic solista 200 has been class. Not perfect, but a great boot. So Lotto have a huge task to keep that going with the brand new Lotto Maestro 100 IV, can they do it, well that's what I'm here to find out with my first impressions review.
So this might be the best lotto boot ever, and I don't say might be in the way of other people might not agree with me, I say might meaning, it might be because this incredible boot has a giant issue, so impressions of the lotto maestro 100 IV are good, testing has been good. But there is a big but, I just can't wear this pair of boots!

Damn James, that’s frustrating! You turned me on to the previous generation - I love that boot. If these are an improvement, I will definitely spend the extra money to get a pair. That upper looks to be something special! Looking forward to a full review!
I would be very confident these are an improvement over the last generation, if you like those you'll love these is my theory. You're right though, very frustrating

And thanks for the little shout there 👀 I would have some ideas for Lotto to improve the soleplate even more (call me). I mean, I like that soleplate, but maybe it could've been even more aggressive but it's a control boots so I guess that's a good fit👍🏻 I should try them myself. Definitely considering to buy! But I have no idea about what size to get 😂 Let me know when you get the new ones.

They look pretty comfy tbf. Hope you get the right size soon so your can do a playtest. I'm looking forward to it. Lovely pitch as well. Absolutely agree that not enough companies put priority towards making their boots comfortable. The soleplate reminds me of the original Zhero Gravity soleplate, which was one of my favourites.
There are absolutely some similarities to the original Zhero gravity plate and like you say, no bad thing there. Really can't wait to get a pair in a better size

That’s why I watch your reviews! My local soccer shop carries very limited cleats so if I want anything outside of Adidas and Nike I have to order online.
Speaking of which, how are the laces on your Puma Ultra holding up or the soleplate on your Nike Phantom GT?
Phantom GT is fine but the studs are wearing fairly quickly, no issues with the laces on the ultra

Awesome looking boots buddy🔥👍.pitty about the sizeing but they def look like they worth waiting for a little longer to get on feet. Price may bite them in the backside compared to other brands. I honestly think at this present time Puma have all my needs covered and the only brand i could happily wear any of there current boots for a full season. The new Ultra,Future and kings are all top boots. Hopfully these grab some traction and get the recognition they deserve.😁👍👍
I agree Puma are doing amazing things right now. Very impressive. And these are going to be great I'm sure of it.

Lotto defo need more recognition for the boots that they are producing at present, the power of marketing takes a bit away from just how good they actually are i think. At the end of the day regardless of brand they are all making some quility boots at present time. Thats one reason im not a one brand boot lover because sometimes a diff brand can produce an equally if not better product/model from year to year than other brands.👍👍😁

Put an extra pair of insoles in on top of the ones already in and they might fit a bit better
Honestly i hate doing that, if the boots don't fit then they don't fit, different size needed. And if you check the size gap i have in the end of the Boot I think it's way too big for any solutions like that unfortunately.
Honestly, at that price point I’d rather get a previous gen (or colorway) of any top end adi or Nike model, I’d even go for anything puma has on offer at their current lineup which is surprisingly solid. Good to see lotto still making quality boots in 2020 tho, I will never forget how cool looking those zhero gravitys were back in the day 😍
I think that there's no reason to solely consider Nike adidas and Puma boots here. These are more than able to hold their own with the bigger brands.
