Great vid. I just opened the box for this cover I'll be putting on my 2020 Sierra AT4. Then I went to TH-cam just to be sure there wasn't going to be any surprises during the install

Trick for the foam seal on the bed bulkhead with the bedliner, flip it over so the sticky side is attached to the tonneau cover.

I have putco bed rails already. Would this or any other tonneau cover work along with bed rails? I'm pretty sure where you have that drain is being used with bolts for the bed rails.
Hi. Thanks for the video. Did you trim the drain tube? My dealer installed this on my 2023 sierra and a lot of water inside. I check the drain tube and water gushed out when I pulled it off the rail. I pulled the tube out of the side wall hole and the put the entire tub in there. I am assuming it got kinked or turned up so I decided to cut the tube so only 1/2" to an 1" sticks through the hole. I need monitor next rain storm.
Best way to get the hose down? Mines not really going in

Thanks for the video. Very helpful. Any suggestions on alternatives to address the seal adhesion on the spray-on truck bed liner?
Probably use something else that is stickier. You can get foam with one side sticky from home depot.
I wiped my edges with alcohol wipes. Really helped stick.
There was a Q&A question/answer on the BAKFlip website. They suggested applying the seal to the cover (instead of to the bed) when there’s a spray on bed liner in place. I’m guessing this also applies to the CarbonPro bed.
I have one of these covers. Do you know if there is a truck rack available that can be used while the cover is down?
I had this cover on a GMC 2016 3500. Really liked the cover except the plastic slides that the prop rods slide up to when fully open. Halfway to my trip to Florida with my motorcycle in the back the slides split from the wind pressure and eventually had to remove the whole cover and set it in the bed next to the motorcycle. The slides should be made of aluminum or some type of metal. Other than that I'm ordering this same cover for my 2020 GMC. Also mine had a rubber seal same as the sides that laid over the tailgate I believe. Ordering another one for my 2020 GMC AT4.

Does the handle in the bed flip up and still operate with this cover installed?
@@nickhead3093 If you are referring to the handle in the tailgate, yes it does.
I try ro add rails but the tail gate hit. It also has factory rhino liner. Should I trim the rail?
What is the difference between the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 6ft6 new body style and the old body style? When coming to the bakflip mx4?

Doesn’t appear to block the light assembly
I installed mine but for some reason my auto release of the tailgate on the same model truck, don't pop out. It won't open. What do you think is the problem?
Installed my cover today in full Texas heat. FYI, the aluminum cover gets crazy hot in the sun. Nice cover though

Does it still allow the grab bar handle to open all the way up? It didn't look like there was a problem mounting it, but did the handle still work fully?
Yes, everything is still completely functional.

I have a 2021 Chevy Silverado LTZ with the bed/rear view camera. When the cover is leaning against the cab, do you still have full visibility with the cameras?

Did yall test the camera pointed down at the bed after install with the cover fliped all the way up? Looking at buying this one but need the camera for hooking up gooseneck. Thanks for the video!

It doesn't appear that you would be able to see the gooseneck through the camera in the 3rd brake light. I think the angle would prevent it from being seen but I haven't tested it.
@@BearsWorkshop Were you able to use the rear view mirror camera in the 3rd brake light to see while driving or does it flip up so high that blocks the camera completely?

What about is it weather tight any leaks?
I would say that water would find it's way in. Probably around the corners.
How has the cover held up in the AZ heat any fading on the cover or issues with the seals? And any issues dealing with BakFlio to warranty?

I just installed one of those covers on and there’s no gap at the end of the tonneau cover. It actually grazes my trunk. I can’t even use my remote to automatically open the trunk it gets stuck. Does anybody have any idea why?
Would sliding/shifting the cover towards the bulkhead help?

Just opened the box to install on my truck. Didn't get very far because of very poor quality, including damaged rails, gaskets that pop out and bad machining in some of the hardware. Initiating a return with the vendor. Waiting on their response. Not impressed.
Stay away from bakflip.... leaks worse than others and quality is terrible
