I spread a lot of manure with my horses over the years, with Belgians and Percherons alike, but I always had to load by hand. The most I ever got done in one day was 13 loads. I like the way this team is not fazed by the tractor.
@@klauskarbaumer6302 they are veteran manure spreaders, typically 30 loads a day kind of thing. They get together quite a bit on the weekends for manure parties lol ! Geez I couldn’t imagine loading by hand! That’s real work right there!
@@bdradley1 Well, they are a great team, you can be proud of them. As to the work loading by hand, I am originally from Bavaria,Germany and we have an old saying that translated goes like ' If you like potatoes and are not afraid of hard work, you can make yourself a lot of nice days in your life' as at least there was no shortage of both of these.
@@klauskarbaumer6302 that’s very true. I visited your hometown and loved it, only got there once. I lived in Germany for 3 years but in Hanau and Friedberg. Thx again
How old are the Gray horses pulling the manure spreader really enjoyed the video congratulations on your wagon let me know on the Gray horses thank you
@@GMConway.jcranch they are 4 and 5, in foal for spring and then will be sold after weaning (mares and foals). There are this years gray colts available now and then 2 more in 4 mths. Thx
Seriously, it's happening again. I have watched other videos tonight, but for some reason yours isn't coming through. When I reload it, I have no problem seeing the ads. But, when the video starts, it just buffers. I will give it another try tomorrow.
@@l-bird that makes absolutely no sense. I also think some of the comments are not coming through? One viewer said he was #7 to comment, but there was only 4 showing? Very strange
@@bdradley1 Well, it's working today and I was able to watch your video. I have had numerous comments deleted over the last number of years, they play games in my opinion. Anyway, it looked like a pretty nippy day out in South Dakota. Vintage vehicles like that manure spreader was pretty amazing technology for it's time. And the dog Bailey was pretty cute.
Beautiful horses! Thank you for the video 💗
❤ Beautiful animals n ranch. I can say "I don't miss the cold temps". Thanks again for the tour.
I'm glad to see horses 🐎 work
I'm no. 7 to comment. I'm glad I am inside watching this were it is warm. Love those baby percherons.
@@richardlloyd9976 lol I’m warm now !!!!! It’s mild according to folks who live there but trust me, I was freezing! 😂
I’ve never seen a curly in person, pretty neat.

You look as happy as a Pig in Chardonnay lol🤣
Happy Trails
Stay Safe Brother 🤙
@@andrewthornton1945 lol never heard that but I like it ! Maybe a pork sandwich with a glass of Chardonnay! Have a great weekend!
You might want to put the blade onto the ground instead of leaving it up. Somewhat of a hazard for a horse to get it’s leg into.
Nice looking place.

@ glad it came through and yes much colder than I’m used to lol.
Is curly a breed. ? I've only seen it in horses with Cushing syndrome.
@@pixie706 yes it is a breed, they have a poodle like curly coat and can bring very premium prices.
