Have you ever used an online planner? What are your thoughts?
I’ve used Homeschool Planet all school year for checklist for my son and he love it…he loves checking things off! So I just print off his schedule weekly for his binder🥰
I’m a paper planner girl so I can’t get rid of my planners 🤷🏻♀️😂
I have used HS Planet for 2 full school years. Love it! I do print mine every week. It takes some time to get it fully scheduled, but I think it's a huge time saver during the year.
That’s awesome to hear! Have you tried the new preplanned schedules for the specific curriculums from the marketplace?
@Gathered & Grounded I tried one, but I rarely use a curriculum the way its written, so I ended up changing the plan so much that it wasn't worth it. :) I use the repeating scheduling tools a lot. (Like Day 1: Read Chapter {1}; Day 2: Do Map Work; Day 3: blah blah). That really keeps me on track. Their videos can be helpful when you are just getting started. Good luck! :)

I have used Homeschool Planet in the past, but will start using it again next year because I will have a 9th grader. It's going to make it so much easier to keep grades. :)
if you’re doing something g like Sonlight where you’re reading 3 pages one day and then maybe 2 pages another day of the same book can you make it that specific here?

You mentioned participating in a co-op once or twice a week. How do you schedule in any work that you need to do to prepare for those days?
Our co-op rarely requires work needed outside of the co-op itself. If there is something they need to work on then I would adjust and add some time into our schedules.
are you still using this system?
We are currently on a 4 day school week because coops aren’t in session, once they start back up we will switch to 3-day a week
