That should explain why Gerald is alive, why Sonic and Shadow have similar beginnings to their stories, and other smaller details could be different. This was so much fun watching this trailer with you and everyone, watching Shadow becoming the badass that he is, and the action looks great. The dark tone of this movie has got me very hyped, but seeing and hearing you scream with excitement mabe my heart smile. My theory with Amy and Rouge is their either saving them for the movie itself, cause it will blow the fans minds if their not expecting them to show up… OR, one or both will show up at the end of the film, as the teaser for film 4.
I get a lot of people like Aimee are expecting a very one-to-one copy of the game for the movie. But lets all remember that this movie, like the previous ones, is merely an "adaptation" so expect some elements to be different from the games.
We still haven't gotten Metal Sonic yet. Maybe if they do a Sonic4 it'll have Metal Sonic with Amy in it. From the trailer, it could lead up to it since he needed something from Sonic.
